That's cool, but it's not stopping me from getting the 360 version. I already have the original PC version on Sands of Time, so this won't really be necessary.
@Mnementh. Monkey Island: Special Edition letas you switch between classic and modern graphics. Perhaps you were thinking of that? And no, the Wii ABahB is not the same as the NES version. They're completely different games.
"everyone I knew (girls included) could reach level 20+ in only a few minutes."
Nice sexism there.
I saw it coming. Bloons is decent little game, but it really doesn't work as a full-fledged digitally-distributed console game. Hopefully the DSiWare version will turn out better. It really is a much more suitable system for it.
@Warioswoods. I never realized that either. There have been a couple people popping up lately that have animated icons. Wonder why no one ever tried using one before?
Blaster Master Overdrive looks good, but there's nothing else for me this week. I like Bloons, but from the looks of this version there doesn't seem to be anything to deviate me from the free flash game.
Interesting choice for a review. We definitely got the better deal with this instead of the real Mario 2. It had much more of an impact on the series than the original would've had. I'd really like to see it on VC someday, if only for comparison's sake.
I absolutely adore the XBLA game (well, the demo at least), so I've really been looking forward to getting both the DS and Wii versions of this game. I haven't quite figured out why I don't have them yet.
I have the PSP version already, but it's great to see that all the American non-PSP owners finally have the chance to play the best old-school Castlevania of all time. (IMO)
Now with any luck Bloodlines will quickly follow suit!
Looks like the wii-kly update drought is back again. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Doesn't really bother me that much, though. I got a crap-ton of games to play already, and my router isn't working so I can't get online. May get Heron, since I loved Pipe Dream as a kid.
I've always much preferred the Metroidvania-style Castlevanias as opposed to the old school ones, but I still cant wait to get this. The easier difficulty is great news, since most of the "Retrovanias" can be quite merciless.
It would nice to see more Ocarina of Time-esque elements make their way into GoWIII. So far it's just looking to be more of the same. Not that that's a bad thing, but the series could use a little spicing up at this point.
Seeing Jafee taking inspiration from such a wonderful classic makes him even more awesome.
Castlevania is a must, and I may consider Pilotwings at some point. If I had a DSi, I'd get Oregon Trail. I used to love watching my sis play that when I was a little'un.
Huuzah for the return of Monkey Race and Monkey Target! Now hopefully they won't f**k up the latter like they did in Banana Blitz. Whyd they bring back that Fruit Basket game, though? I hated that one...
Are they seriously putting in that butt battle minigame from Dead or Alive Extreme 2? LOL!

Re: Last Ninja 3 Pulled From European Virtual Console
There's a few Europeans gamers that should be quite happy about this.
And BTW, nice job on getting them to listen to you, Betagam! Now let's see if you can tackle that 50hz problem!
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd & 24th February 2010 (Japan)
Crazy Climber was made by the same people who made Moon Cresta. It will not be purchased by me.
Re: Castlevania: The Adventure is Reborn in Europe Next Week
@Corb. SotN all the way down at #5? And no love for the Sorrow games?
Re: Review: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All (WiiWare)
I'll stick to DS versions, thank you very much.
Re: Review: Nacho Libre (DS)
@Swerd. Well, there was... no. Or maybe... no. Or how about... no. You got me there, man!
Is a game like this even worth reviewing anyway?
Re: Nintendo Download 15th February 2010 (North America)
Yay, Sonic & Knuckles! If I didn't already have it on the Mega Collection, It'd be an insta-download.
Re: Sonic Classic Collection Goes Collectible
Eh, I'm good.
Re: OpaOpa and ChuChu's Rocket into Sega and Sonic All-Stars Racing
Wow, the Chu Chus look ridiculous.
Re: New Pokémon Revealed in CoroCoro Magazine
Now I gotta catch more of 'em? sigh
Re: Review: Tomena Sanner (WiiWare)
Sounds a bit like the flash game Building Jumper. Looks like good fun.

Re: Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?
220th!
Jeez, I haven't seen a thread this huge since the SMRPG thread back in the VC-R days!

Re: Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?
Not gonna happen in a million years.
Like that Green Hill Galaxy idea, though.

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st February 2010 (North America)
I'm surprised there's someone out there who still cares about Cave Story...
In other news, this is yet another week for me to pass on.
Re: Pikachu-Coloured Pichu Westward Bound
OMG ITS A SLIGHTLY BRIGHTER YELLOW COLOR!!!!1 **head asplodes**
Well, at least it gives me some extra motivation to preorder it.

Re: Luigi's Mansion to Get Sequel?
I never liked the original game, but the Wiimote would be a perfect fit.
Re: US Pokémasters: Preorder Now, Get Ho-Oh or Lugia Figures
I'm gonna pre-order SoulSilver ASAP!
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th January 2010 (North America)
If I had a DSi, I'd be getting Dark Void Zero. Alas, I do not, and thus, there is nothing for me this week.
Re: Dark Void Zero Landing This Month
Aw, this is a DSiWare exclusive!? Damn! I need a DSi now...
Was this game truly an arcade game originally, or was that just a clever thing Capcom made up?
Re: Review: Sokomania (DSiWare)
That's a shame. It actually looks like a pretty fun game.
Re: Medaverse Announce $1,000 Gravitronix Tournament
Great news for all 12 of the people who bought this game! lol
Re: Nintendo Download: 19 & 20 January 2010 (Japan)
@Sean Aaron. We Americans get tons of them.
Re: Mega Man Zero Collection Coming to DS
Awesome! I always wanted to play these!
Re: Nintendo Download: 11 January 2010 (North America)
Oh goody, another lame week!
Re: Review: Fast Draw Showdown (WiiWare)
Looks like a 3DO game that never was.
Re: Nintendo Download: 12 & 13 January 2010 (Japan)
Pinball Attack and Parodius look fun.
Re: Review: Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams (Game Boy Color)
Ah yes, I remember this game. I read about it in magazines as a kid. I would've gotten it, but all the terrible reviews it got kept me away from it.
"I hope there would be a fighting game for DS soon, I do miss them."
Where have you been? Tons of fighting games have released recently, and there's more coming.
Re: Review: Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
It's pretty good, but it's not as polished as Shinobi III, methinks.
Re: Tuper Tario Tros: A Mario/Tetris Mash-up
Play it as soon as I heard about it. Pure genius! It too would buy this on Wiiware instantly.
Re: Review: Faceball 2000 (Game Boy)
Ive been thinking of getting this one for a while. I'm really interested in seeing how a 3D FPS would handle on the Game Boy.
Re: Review: Intellivision Lives! (GameCube)
Eh, I'll pass. Most of those games look a little too anchient for my tastes..

Re: Review: Me and My Dogs: Friends Forever (DSiWare)
I give them brownie points for not spelling Dogs as "Dogz".
Re: And The Most Pirated Wii Games Of 2009 Are...
Pirates are scum. Simple as that.
Re: Nintendo Download: Tomena Sanner, Happy Hammerin', Dragon's Lair, Miami Nights and Texas Hold'em (EU)
Pats Europe on the back Its okay, you'll get a good week again someday.

Re: In-Flight Electronic Blues: TSA Bans Electronics on Flights
And thus America's airlines continue to sink ever further...
That pic makes me want to watch Airplane again. Love that movie.
Re: Cave Story Development Update
Hallelujah! They're still working on the game! At this point I swore they were gonna cancel it.
Re: Sega Rolls Out Super Monkey Ball: Step And Roll Minigame Video

Re: Castlevania: Rondo of Blood Getting Long Overdue Western Release
Well it's about freakin' time!
Re: Nintendo Download: 25 December 2009 (EU)
And I thought OUR update was bad...
Re: Nintendo Download: 21 December 2009 (North America)
Crap update to me. At least we finally got that dated fighting game everyone's been clamoring for.
