@RupeeClock the Switch hardware is capable of 4K 30FPS, but Nintendo soft limited it to 1080P 60FPS. Overclocking can unleash full power, and from there you can probably patch the system to allow 4K resolution.
@TheBigK the 3DS is a legendary system, and the Wii U was underrated. I didn’t get a 3DS until 2020, but I wanted one for a while before. And for three and a half years, I’ve loved all six of mine. Even the one in pieces.
I got on after the planned shutdown, and played for an hour. I was racing in Mario Kart 7, and it booted me off. Said my final goodbye, and started Pretendo for the first time. And the Pretendo servers were down.
@dew12333 the necessity is that keeping record of what could be important history and culture in the future is a task for us now. Plenty of old consoles are starting to fail, including my own. Sure, they can be fixed, but one by one they will fail again and again and they won’t be fixable or replaceable.
Also, why are you so against the emulator? Piracy is the issue here, and is where Nintendo should crack down. The emulator itself isn’t a problem.
@X68000 Suyu is one of the forks. Either way, Nintendo can’t do much about this one other than try and drag out the legal process for as long as possible to make it more expensive for the Suyu developers.
@1day you can clean the contacts with Isopropyl alcohol, you can replace the button membrane, and if neither one works, then you can try getting a colicky button mod to replace the original buttons. Only problem with that is that the buttons will click like GBA SP buttons and won’t be as mushy as they used to be.
I actually got a GBA SP for free as well. I was talking to my teacher I met a few days prior, and the conversation moved to the GBA. I told him how I wanted one and he told me about his collection. When it was time for my next class I jokingly told him, “If you have any spare Game Boys, give them to me!”
Very next week, I walk into class and he calls me over. He hands me something silver, and I take a look. It was a silver GBA SP! It was battered, it was scratched, it’s battery had a beer belly, it had no charger, and it was an AGS-001, but he gave it to me for free, and I’ve loved it. I shell swapped it and put an IPS screen in, but that Game Boy is still in my possession.
Ngl, I don’t love Wonder Flowers. I also don’t love the art style for the levels, but I do love the characters art style and animations, and the level design and music is brilliant.
@Semudara, it’s honestly complete idiocy. There is a reason that Mario clobbered it, and that’s because he is a gaming giant that saved the entire market. And there is the fact that it’s a worse game, and I think I answered my own question: Sonic cannot win when Mario is the opponent.
The Joy Con in Handheld mode is my choice, because I have the Mario Switch OLED now. In Tabletop/Docked, either the Pro Controller or Joy Con in the grip (I removed the handles from my second grip because I didn’t need them or like them).
@Grail_Quest I like it, having a unified Trophy system. Also better account system, better online in general, and (weird one) online in official Nintendo games that are open World or have a system similar to Mario Wonder should have server systems where there is a shared save between friends, in addition to normal, personal saves.
Gonna be honest, only had Joy Con Drift once. Case never cracked even though the console sounded like a train and put out a ton of heat. The storage was too little in the modern era, the original kickstand sucked balls, and no themes (not even colors!) is what bothered me. The OLED fixed the kickstand, it had kinda fixed storage, but the themes remain unresolved.
Why must you all be so dirty minded? An inchworm is just a worm that moves like the pipe does. And yes, Caterpillar is another word for one and Caterpillar is also an American company, but as an American, I hear inchworm a lot.

Re: Talking Point: What DS & 3DS Games Would You Still Like To See On Switch?
Super Mario 3D Land. Straight port for $20 and I would have a blast.
Re: Video: Don't Be Fooled Into Buying Fake SD Cards For Your Switch
@nocdaes it’s the same here. Lots of fake, knockoff and refurbished, overpriced crap.

@1day how ruined? It can probably be saved if you still have that’s Game Boy

Re: Super Mario Run Scores A Super Mario Bros. Wonder Event Update
@Baler fair, I just think Wonder is just so much better looking and it just keeps my attention better.

@Baler how is that even possible?
Re: WTF: What Exactly Is This Switch eShop Garbage, Nintendo?
Of course Nintendo doesn’t care enough about their eShop. What even is this game?

Re: Sonic Superstars' Sales Were 'Slightly Weaker' Than Sega Had Anticipated
A Sonic game releases around the time of a mainline Mario game.
The Sonic game sales are slightly disappointing and the Mario game sales are absolutely insane.
I wonder what happened?
Re: Soapbox: No, Mario Wonder's Most-Annoying Character Isn't The Talking Flower
I genuinely didn’t notice them.
Not once.
Re: Poll: What's Your Switch Controller Of Choice For Super Mario Bros. Wonder?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 28th)
Whoever picked Snowrunner has my respect. I’ll be playing it too, just Wonder is the focus.

I’ve heard caterpillar and inchworm, but not spanworms.

@versionfiv there is always one person like you
(Not a bad thing, just there always is)
Re: SnowRunner
I’m slightly insulted by the 7/10. This rating doesn’t do the game justice, it’s my most played game of all time.

@SoIDecidedTo, Extremerate makes orange shells if I remember correctly. You could have your regular Switch in orange and it would look nice.
