DK Bananza was unexpected and impressive. Fingers crossed I get an invite to pre-order from Nintendo themselves so I can order that sweet looking Switch 2 + Mario Kart bundle. If that goes my way I will be in on DK on release day. Looking forward to those Gamecube Classics too.

Day One for me!

Really looking forward to playing this again. Loved it back when it originally came out, so happy to see it back again for newer players now.

@Crecca I'm a little jealous as you have the SNES controller. I've been keeping an eye out for that one for ages but it seems to have been out of stock for over a year.

Thank you so much for this info. Just ordered a second controller for that tasty price. Now if they could just get that SNES Switch controller back in stock my little collection would be complete.

Already got mine pre-ordered with a voucher. It's installed and waiting for the unlock on release day. Haven't played a Mario party game since the N64, really looking forward to it.

The N64 was my favourite console, but the Switch has definitely surpassed it. The sheer number of truly excellent games on the Switch is just amazing... and that's before we even get started on the added ones in NSO. Just love the Switch.

It is certainly a fun game for DD fans and the Switch is such a natural home where it should be. But wow is it really 8 years since it came out? How the time flies.

GnG was an absolute stone cold classic favourite for me back in the 80s. Pretty sure this is gonna be a day 1 for me.

Only ever played it on Commodore 64 when I was cough younger cough. The C64 soundtrack was legendary for sure. I remember it being quite a hard game... or maybe I just sucked lol.

Oh the memories... I loved Banjo-Kazooie but why oh why did I never get Banjo-Tooie?

@Trajan Agreed. No doubt in my mind that N64 was their best. I liked it so much I bought 2. Got my first when it released then got my second when DK64 came out. Got a sweet deal on a bundle with that game.

@sandman89 I was wondering the exact same thing. Loved Quake 2 but also loved Quake 1 on the N64.

I got the physical edition here in the UK and in the words of Kramer "I'm loving every minute of it".

As for Switch games in general, I preferred the days when I had a big chunky cartridge that made a nice clunky sound when I put it in the console. N64 style.

I must now gently stroke my treasured physical edition.

It's a close call. Even though I live in the UK, the NA box art just edges it for me.

Also, isn't it about time for a new Ghost 'n Goblins? Maybe a new Switch version.

It's sad to see specialist retailers having problems. I've always liked going in and just having a look around because you just never know if you might find a bargain that you want. I used to shop at GAME all the time up until the release of Yoshi's Woolly World. I remember going into the GAME store about a week after it came out to see if I could afford it and the price was £38. The Sainsburys store which was literally right next door was selling it for £33. I'd like to support the specialists but hey... I'm not a mug either.

When this game came out I bought it bundled with a N64 because it came with the memory expansion. I already owned an expanded N64 but I just loved it so much I got this second one as a backup... ya know just in case

Loved this game... then again I bought, played and loved all the Rare N64 games.

NA got the best art and the best version of the game IMO.

The thought of owning Doom 1 and 2 on my Switch filled me with excitement, but now after seeing this I'll pass. Shame on you Bethesda.

I still have my boxed original Doom 64. The different maps are worth playing for sure and the sound was/is absolutely phenomenal.

Gonna stick my neck out and say I don't think development of Metroid Prime 4 will take too long... I predict a Christmas 2020 release.

Oh my word that was hilarious. I didn't realise the game had so many bugs... no.21 was my favourite lol. As much as I love Double Dragon (and I do as I have bought it so many times across many formats) my personal favourite scrolling beat'em up has to be Streets of Rage 2. I just hope Sega see fit to release some kind of Megadrive/Genesis compilation on the Switch.

I remember me and a friend playing this in the arcade when we were young (loooong time ago lol) and we were pretty good at it. This one time we had gotten about three quarters way through the game when it suddenly crashed and all these funny characters appeared all over the screen. But luckily for us the guy running the arcade had been watching us play because he loved the game too, so when he saw it crash he reset it for us and gave us a few free credits on the machine so we could carry on playing!

Would love to grab one but funds do not permit at the moment

However I am thoroughly enjoying Zelda: BotW on my Wii U at the moment. What an awesome game!

I do have my eye on Super Mario Odyssey though, so I must try and get one in time for its release later this year

After playing Galaxy Force I can't wait to get my hands on this one.
