as for update, maybe having less potions would make the game more balanced. now its potion galore, theyre everywhere, it rarely drops under the maximum carrying capacity. its almost ridiculous... its not like the game is really hard.
the planet roaming section looks kinda fun for what we saw. but the combat system looks dull at most. reminds me the arena crap they added in chrono trigger DS. Basic at its finest, boring at its best.

so the 3ds XL doesnt scare me in term of size. maybe it will scare tight pants users. i prefer walking with a lot of things on me rather than showing my butt muscles to everyone.

take a game like skyrim or infamous. they need a lot of power to render huge environnement while keeping the graphic quality. huge spaces is one thing about power.
take a game like battlefield 3 where they truly need to render down on the consoles because its huge, realistic and the environnement is destructible at its best. Environnement interaction possibilities in a huge terrain is also something that need power.
take a game like god of war 3, where they need power to achieve fluid action and spectacular effects real-time.
take a game like uncharted . the environnement is rich, luxurious,heavily detailed and mostly interactive. all these objects,details, realism needs power.
now combine all of these together... i dont want power for graphic beauty only. i mostly want it to experience huge environments and freedom to roam in these. Beeing awed by a spectacular scenery on the way is always a joy.
the system is great. but it lacks of great titles! just like nintendo systems since the n64 (the DS isnt in the list. it has a buckload of great titles) but when there is a great title, its simply a masterpiece. so... long life to the 3DS !!!
PuissanceNintendo had a try of the new 3DS XL and it seems, with video proof, that screens are much clearer and brighter. Also, they report that the 3D viewing angle is much wider. They also noted that the top screen dont have that color shift problem when your not watching it centered. (or its much less apparent)
all these changes makes the new 3ds much more appealing to me. plus it looks quite slim even if its supposely heavier to hold. cant wait to see it for real !
a machine that can barely provide more power than the ps3 ? i wouldnt pay more than 199.99$ w/o taxes.i fear the tablet* gamepad* will boost the freaking price. i dont expect the WiiU to go under 299.99$. maybe 349.99$ and seriously. if i get it, I NEED a second tablet because i dont want to fight for it with my girlfriend and nothing guarantees me i can do the same with my 3DS. so... how much will be a tablet gamepad ? 99.99$ ? 129.99 ? i would totally play Flow or Journey on my 3DS. Flower less so, as its great in its HD splendor But Flow on 3ds, perfect match. Journey should be possible too, with special streetpass features
liked the original for the time it lasted but in the end, the world lacks customization. I feel it could have some kind of world editor to build your house, land, forests,etc... still,for its price it was worth it. will the deluxe add enough content to be worthi t ?

the best so far is mouse and keyboard of course.
but really, dont be silly. the wiimote is not responsive. ever tried knect or psmove ? this is much more responsive, and yet, dont manage et surpass what the dual analogue can give you.
just learn to use dual analogue. its harder, but in the end, its much more precise and responsive. of course, you can still shoot on PC with a keyboard and mouse which makes things even smoother and ultra precise.

but when there is a great title, its simply a masterpiece. so... long life to the 3DS !!!

PuissanceNintendo had a try of the new 3DS XL and it seems, with video proof, that screens are much clearer and brighter. Also, they report that the 3D viewing angle is much wider. They also noted that the top screen dont have that color shift problem when your not watching it centered. (or its much less apparent)
all these changes makes the new 3ds much more appealing to me. plus it looks quite slim even if its supposely heavier to hold. cant wait to see it for real !

a machine that can barely provide more power than the ps3 ? i wouldnt pay more than 199.99$ w/o taxes.i fear the tablet* gamepad* will boost the freaking price.
i dont expect the WiiU to go under 299.99$. maybe 349.99$
and seriously. if i get it, I NEED a second tablet because i dont want to fight for it with my girlfriend and nothing guarantees me i can do the same with my 3DS. so...
how much will be a tablet gamepad ? 99.99$ ? 129.99 ? (if nunchuks goes for 75$, if a standard wireless ps3 pad goes for 55$, thats what i think the tablet will cost minimum)
pile a game minimum with it at launch at 59.99$ and I go broke. 299.99 + 129,99 + 59,99 = above 400$ to get you started on the WiiU. expect a couple 10$ on wiiU ware games and classics in the weeks following your console buy... geez
I think ill have to sell my car (just kidding!)
sadly, i will have to skip this console for a while, my budget wont allow it before next year ! and next year will probably have...the next playstation

i would totally play Flow or Journey on my 3DS. Flower less so, as its great in its HD splendor
But Flow on 3ds, perfect match. Journey should be possible too, with special streetpass features

liked the original for the time it lasted but in the end, the world lacks customization. I feel it could have some kind of world editor to build your house, land, forests,etc...
still,for its price it was worth it. will the deluxe add enough content to be worthi t ?

the bigger screen is interesting, but i need to see it in action. i dont want a bigger screen with bigger pixels or blurry textures.
still, its nice an probably be my next 3ds version when my current one will be too used. which wont be soon. i still have my ds lite in top shape since its launch, and it played hardcore games likev the world ends with you.

this cant be serious. really. the wiimotes as fps controls is a gadget, but nothing as precise as dual analogue.
the best so far is mouse and keyboard of course.
but really, dont be silly. the wiimote is not responsive. ever tried knect or psmove ? this is much more responsive, and yet, dont manage et surpass what the dual analogue can give you.
just learn to use dual analogue. its harder, but in the end, its much more precise and responsive. of course, you can still shoot on PC with a keyboard and mouse which makes things even smoother and ultra precise.
