@KoMiCtUrTlE because theyre horrible ! sure they looked better than gameboy games at his time, but gameplay wise, they were a pain. i must admit that sonic had a little something in it, but its so far away from other sonic games. far...far away.save your few bucks and spend them more wisely id'say.
gamegear hahahaha no wait, really ? hahahaha man thats funny worst handheld i ever owned. great deception when i was a kid. couldnt play anywhere unless it was near a power outlet. games were bad. boring. hard. BAD. BAD BAD BAD dont encourage this, dont buy gamegear games
35 hours is long ? been playing final fantasy 6 on PSN and im at 50 hours, yet my characters arent even at half they level cap. my final fantasy 7 clock was huge too. Heck, The Worlds ends with you took me 68 hours to complete, and i didnt even finished everything. How about final fantasy 12.... 155 hours !! Disgaea 1 on ps2.... 238 hours. so of course we hope for at least 35 hours from a main campaign, thats a minimum for an RPG. 35 hours is not long for an rpg. its just ok. i hope there is another 35 hours for sidequests, unlockables, secrets or just level grinding times.
quite promising. i never played a fire emblem yet. i have the ambassador advance title, but didnt have time to try it yet. zelda and mario occupied my 3DS gaming time
i want this title eventually. always up for some sweet graphics to see my hardware in action. but certainly not at the current retail price. ill wait for a used copy or a bargain deal.
just like Steeldiver, its fun to play, but doesnt feel like a full retail game. maybe im wrong with this one, but it wont change my mind. with kid icarus coming soon, tales of the abyss that i must own before copies get too rare and a bunch of ps3 titles coming, there is just no more room in my budget for nano assault.
the original NES game got me angry. pissed.annoyed. yet i couldnt stop myself to go back again into pit's game.
i pre-ordered this game, i hope im doing the right thing. the whole weapons system looks so great to uncover. online multiplayer hooked me first. this is what starfox required for me to keep the game (i sold my starfox)
where i was sold totally, is when i discovered tis a game from the mastermind behind smash brothers.
i remember an old minigolf game on pc, which i had a blast with. it will all depend on the review on how the terrain and physics will affect your gameplay.
a classic not to miss. it will depend how much they will sell it for. i remember raging at it when i was younger. same with its snes counterpart. i fear raging at it again. but... it was so good T.T
both BOOOOTH i like my physical copies. they last for years, they work offline without worries, and yet they still exist if your game system breaks.
but i do like digital ones too, since they are usually cheaper. i like what sony did with the PSone. i can revisit oldies without paying too much or seek for copies online and pay a load of money plus shipping costs. i can even find japanese titles that never came here for cheap,
nintendo still brings top notch gaming experience, and theyre... japanese. so. yeah, they dont suck. i met a lot of american and european games that mightily sucked too. wherever you are in the world, things suck, things stand out. just pick the right title for your taste, thats about it.
the minigolf is tempting but, i will have to wait. same goes to arc style soccer. this one will depend on how the soccer gameplay is handled.
game gear? hahaha what a joke. worst handheld ever. battery sucking machine that offers scaled down crappy games. except for mean bean machine, all those i tried were a waste of time and money. even the sonic !
yeah all these booklets were nice back in the days. i still have my old final fantasy, zelda, final fantasy 6, chrono trigger manuals. these were chunky, filled with a partial walkthrought, skill guides, item list, weapons and equip guide, etc.
but even if these are nice gimmicks, theyre not eco-friendly. i storngly encourage the digital booklets, for the sake of our earth.
and i question the necessity, else than health warnings, for the these booklets. With internet, Faqs are everywhere (Gamefaqs!!!) wiki is there. Nintendo life is there. Dont waste trees for the stupid feeling of collecting stuff.
hahahaha how about resident evil ? isnt it blasphemy that dead are coming back to life ? bible says only the son of god can come back to life. How about bowser's zoophilia problem huh ? the guy is a turtle, and want a human girl real bad. isn this questionnable enough ? How about kokiris who always keep their infant stage body. how do they...reproduce ? eeeww
this is ridiculous. if you dont like, just dont buy. i remember when xenogear came out on PS1. they retired it form the shelves all over my area (quebec) because of this.i had a chance to buy it day one, before they were removed. then years after that, it poped again on shelves, without any notice.
ps3 controllers are the best, and didnt need much ergonomic improvements since the first release ! while motion is a fun way to play, i find it limiting. some games REQUIRE ALL the ps3 buttons to be playable, and sometimes you wish you could have a sidepad to help with shortcuts.
anyway, nintendo games is clearly another universe compared to sony games. nintendo makes everything enjoyable, fun, clean looking and yet manage to put brainwhacking puzzles for the older gamers.
i like what is coming. didnt know it was smash bros creator behind this. Sakurai never deceived me with his games, and all of them lasted for years. altough i dont think i will play as much as a smash brother title, im quite eager to get this one.
and that stand will prove to be useful for Colors! application (or art academy games too)
the whole weapon system isnt fully clear. Will the game provide enough stages and gameplay to make it worth to unlock all weapons? or will it be like starfox, a bunch of fast paced quick levels to rince and repeat ? i fear another game that i will finish in a week or two
Back in the gamecube days, everyone i knew bought the gamecube for smash brothers melee. and most of them didnt even care to buy other games, smash was worth its gold bar. the gamecube was known as the device that plays smash bros melee. i really hope they recreate this with the Wii U and 3DS, by adding online. real online, that truly works. with a lobby to talk between matches. VOIP mic enabled. you know, the real thing. With work and all, i barely have time to invite friends at home, or i mostly play late in the evening. online gaming is a great deal for playing with friends scatered around the country.
that was creepy. i remember that face after all these years...some mutant fish that talks. ugh it depends if it comes in retail or in the eshop. i wouldnt mind a eshop bizarre game like this, but i surely wont pay for a retail game of seaman. 39.99 is way too much for such weirdness.
problem is there is too much games on the market for my poor wallet. this one doesnt fit in my priority list. maybe in a year or two, when it will be in a bargain bin...
bring it on 3DS too. so we can complimentary play on both system, like they intend to do with smash bros U. they should do this with every titles anyway.
errrrr.... cookies. with AR cards. this is odd. VERY.
how much will they cost ehre in canada. a fortune like every nintendo sealed products else than games. heck, small 6 inches mario plush costs 25$ here. ridiculous.
stilll, i will probably end up buying 1 or 2 pack for the sake of trying it.
got it, and i must admit its not quite good looking. movements look clunky...but.... its darn fun. i cant believe their price point.i didnt even touch the multiplayer portion yet, and i feel its worth more than 2 dollars.
it definitely should have permanent sections, same as Joco84 mentionned. i do like the features that regularly change but it rather a mess the way it is now. not really user friendly.
a small menu on the side with the permanent sections, and keep the huge icons for the featured sections as it is. A web-like approach would simplify things and make it easier to anyone. Anyone can surf the web, so anyone will be able to seek what they need in the eshop.
and the featured sections is much important for keeping the quality titles over the crappy ones.
the go series will have to thank you, i bought it with no after-thought following your review ! i was waiting for a brainless top down shooter. that centipede thing looked promising, but this one might prove to be much cheaper than a retail game, and who knows, more fun.
pre-ordered a few days ago. i wasnt sure when i heard about it months ago. the latest multiplayer news look very promising. enough to make me buy it day one. plus, it has nintendo seal on it. rarely nintendo disapoints me with hteir home games.

Re: Be Careful When Watching This Kid Icarus Medusa Trailer
saw it last evening in the eshop. im stunned. i need this game ASAP
Re: Kid Icarus 3D Anime Hits North America This Week
its ok. too bad it doesnt last too long. a longer cg movie could be amazingly good. Characters are strongly built.
Re: Inafune Plans to Release King of Pirates Worldwide
cg trailer is great, but there is no gameplay video.
still, if they already have a good cg made, there must be something built behind it.
gonna keep this one on my radar, but im sceptical. ressemblance to one piece is big.

Re: Review: Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D (3DS)
not a title for me. got bored quickly with the demo. i guess that stealth ops gaming isnt my cup of tea.
but graphically, it proved me i can wait eagerly for great deal of visuals in the future of this console.

been hooked with the trailer. cant wait for this one. i love tower defense games, and Dillon look quite original and fresh.
Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (3DS)

buy this only if the 3DS owner is a pre-school kid. no blood, gore, violence. hyper simple gameplay.
