@Ralek85 I haven’t read "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan" yet but it’s on my list to check out. "Star Wars: Darth Bane Trilogy" was great, it really built out the lore of the Sith.
Bananza was an absolute phenomenal game, it wasn’t my GotY and was a bit longer than it needed to be, but it’s the most genuine fun I’ve had with a game since Astro Bot.
This was a good list, but I couldn’t disagree with TotK being #1 more. It’s a great game but I didn’t even like it as much at BotW, let alone Link to the Past, Link Between Worlds, or Ocarina. In my opinion, Tetris is the greatest game ever made. I really dont like Tetris but it’s basically as perfect as they come. Anyone can pick it up and play it, the mechanics are simple, and it slowly progresses in difficulty. Next up for me for Nintendo games would be Super Mario World, which I truly adore.
I’m mostly jumping between Donkey Kong Bonanza and Gbost of Yotei, but I’m seriously considering ARC Raiders even though I’m not big into multiplayer games.
I’m playing Pokémon Z-A and having a great time with it. I’ve also been throwing in a few random rounds of Ball X Pit here and there. Lastly, I try to squeeze in some Ghost of Yotei when the kids go to bed, but that’s been easier said than done lately.
I finally decided to grab a Switch 2 with Donkey Kong Bonanza, so I’ll be playing that. It’s the most genuine fun I’ve had with a game in quite a while, no crazy story beats (so far), no over complicated mechanics or controls, no over saturated bloat, it’s just a simple, fun game that respects my time.
@ScalenePowers it is a tough game. The Sekiro comparison comes in the fact that you need to do your best to perfect parry to avoid taking hits, there’s rest points that will reset the world around you, and if you die you lose money and exp (which is more Souls than Sekiro). I was much better at parrying in Sekiro than I am in this, but with that said, I’m still loving it. There’s a dodge mechanic as well, so you have more options than just trying to block. In my opinion, it’s not an easy game, but I find it to be easier than Sekiro.
I just can’t get into speedeunning, great for anyone that does it or enjoys watching it, but it’s not for me. I won’t pretend it’s not impressive when they do it without glitches and just power through it, but using glitches completely underwhelms me, even if it takes precision.
I honestly think this is my favorite Zelda since Link Between Worlds. Don’t get me wrong, Breath of the Wild and Twars of the Kingdom are phenomenal games, but I prefer this style of Zelda game.
@realityxaidan VII and IX are my absolute favorites, both are pretty accessible. X is a great game and pretty accessible as well, but I don’t like it as much as the other two. I’d say pass on VIII, at least for now, it’s one of the least accessible. XII is a really good game, but a huge departure from what the series once was.
I can’t recommend this game enough for anyone who hasn’t played it. This is one of the most charming games I’ve ever played, the story is heartwarming, the game play is really fun and it’s a stunning game. Easily one of my favorite games ever.
I’m really excited for Gain Ground. I remember getting that game for Christmas one year, when I was a kid. It was one of my most frequently played games. Now if only they’d give me Elemental Masters!!!
@Ralek85 I’ve been saying for years they need to do TOR movies and the introduction of the Rule of Two. Bane’s story is so good, but I feel we’ll never get more than a book series (that may not even be considered cannon anymore) and a brief cameo in a TV series. There’s so many better directions they can head, but they’re so set on the era they are on. Give the real fans what they want, movies with hundreds of Sith and Jedi battling!!!
(I know the Sith will never win, but I’ll always cheer for them. I have my son’s name and date of birth tattooed on my arm in Common Sith.)
I played the remaster on Xbox 360 or One (I forgot which) and was not a fan, but it came with the original and I couldn’t get enough of it. This is still, 20+ years later, one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (29th November)
While I’ve had a chance to play other games, I’m very hooked on Ball x Pit right now, so that’s where all of my game time is being spent this weekend.

@Ralek85 just had to say I’m loving the Darth Bane profile pic, him and Revan are my all time favorite Star Wars characters.

Early birthday present for me!
Re: Opinion: Pokémon Legends Z-A Is The Creepiest Entry Yet, Not In A Good Way
I feel like people are just making things up to hate about this game at this point. I really don’t find it to be half as bad as people are saying.

Re: Nintendo Download: 9th October (North America)
Absolum looks great but I’m so sick of roguelike/lights, I’ve lost track of how many games I’ve lost interest in just seeing that.
Re: US Physical Game Spending Continued To Decline Last Year, Now Sits At Half 2021's Numbers
Switch is the only system I buy physical for still. I never bought a really large SD card, so I like physical because it takes up less space.

6 is terrible, granted, I’m not the biggest RE fan out there, but still, it’s awful.

Re: Round Up: The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Reviews Are In, And We're In For A Treat
@AnnoyingFrenzy IGN got rid of their decimal rating system so it’s now just a solid number. This could be anywhere from a 9-9.9 in the past.
