My guess is that the margin on a Switch has always been healthy and that the hardware (considering it’s relative age) is still making a generous profit with each sale. Probably not the case with the newer (and harder to source) components in the PS5. I mean, who is competing with Nintendo for the components inside the Switch???

Sounds like monster energy drink just wanted an easy payday and decided to sue Ubisoft. I understand there were settlement negotiations and my guess is Ubisoft just said screw it, and changed the name rather than capitulate and give monster energy drink anything. So, instead of being the stereo typical French response as described above, I think they probably just raised their middle finger to monster, changed the name of the game and said, “you get nothing! Good day, sir!”

Well, it's a game. I think people can play it ay way they see fit. If Nintendo wanted to kill time traveling, they could, but they don't. Why? I think they also want to give people the option to play however they want to.

Seems appropriate I’m reading this article while…

My daughter (12) has been playing this game for 2 days. No issues with lag, frame rate dips in the hub but seems really stable out in the wild. She's having a great time and it cost me nothing. We DO have really fast WiFi though - don't know if that makes a big difference but I haven't seen any major issues. Seems very playable and enjoyable to me. And we definitely will NOT be spending any $$ within the game - no need.

Metacritic blows. Now, if their scores threw out the statistical outliers, we might have something. But they don't.

Can someone explain in detail how that was accomplished?

First off - we don't know if the allegations are false - all we know is that Nintendo's investigation did not substantiate the abuse claims. That is all. It does not mean those things did not happen. Let's not go all nuts on the accusers - what they are claiming might be actually true. Might not - but might be as well.

Looks cool. Sitting at roughly an 80 on metacritic. Might be worth a shot. Just happy to see more 3rd party support on Switch!

I've got it on PS4 but having it on mobile is very tempting....

I was looking for the nothing option. Sadly, I’ve just sent away my switch and left joy con to Nintendo for repair. The L button had stopped working, and the switch itself has warped. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks I will have a better choice than nothing!

Awesome! Just picked up Tropical Freeze. Waited for a sale on that one - seemed a long time!
