So this game got a ten, but Super Mario All-Stars, a game filled with delightful Mario goodness including the grand Super Mario Bros. 3, only got a FIVE!?!?!?!?! wtf

Re: Feature: The Best Games on GameCube and Wii

creates petition to remove sucky Animal Crossing (eww gross) title from Gamecube Top 10 and replace it with the infinitely more exctiting and awesome Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Because my taste is the only taste that's right.

Re: Feature: Ten Years of Golden Sun

The Lost Age is highly dependent story-wise to the first. Camelot originally planned the games to be one single cart, but it were so big they cut them basically in half, so you literally start halfway through the story in the Lost Age. It's like Act 1/Act 2, you'll be pretty lost unless you look at the story details online.

Re: Feature: Ten Years of Golden Sun

Wow, has it really been ten years? It seems like I picked the first game up only yesterday...

This is the game that cemented my love affair with the Japanese RPG. A beautiful world filled with colorful characters, amazing spell effects, an intriguing story, and yes, even the ridiculous amounts of dialogue all conspired to make this my favorite game ever created. I can't recall how many times I've beaten it all the way through ... it's such a meaningful game to me. I wouldn't even be on this site if it wasn't for that fateful E3 where Dark Dawn was announced. Dark Dawn only served to make me want more though ... c'mon Nintendo and Camelot, get it together and don't leave the series unfinished. It'd be a perfect fit for the 3DS ... I'll buy three copies if I have to!

Arc System Works has such beautiful and ridiculously awesome fighting games. I have Continuum Shift on the PS3 and it's so much fun and definitely contends for my favorite fighter.

Now if only Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Area could get released now because I am impatient...

Re: Feature: A Guide to Hunting Dracula

Noire

I feel there is a problem with this article. Nowhere does it mention hiding out in an elementary school bathroom until an obnoxious, candy-obsessed child comes in and then whisking them away to fight Dracula with you in Castlevania.

Gotta do your research, guys.

Re: Brand New Cave Story 3D Gameplay Trailer

Noire

Meh, a big part of the game's charm was its retro look. I'm not sure I like this at all. Gonna wait to see if it becomes cheaper before even considering it; I've got better things to buy than remakes of free PC games.

Re: Zelda: Four Swords is Out Now in Europe and North America

Noire

It's refreshing to be able to say, "Thank you Nintendo. I appreciate this very much," and be completely sincere. They put some work into this one and it's free! Online may have made it perfect but I'm happy to have something to help distract me until Skyward Sword comes out. Not to mention it's nice to finally see wtf was in that half of A Link to the Past/Four Swords I never got to play. Now if we could only get Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons for added diversionary power.

Re: Talking Point: The Most Memorable Nintendo 64 Games

Noire

I'm happy to see Mario Tennis up there. I played that game in multi way more than stuff like Kart 64 or Smash Bros. That game is ridiculous amounts of fun. Sin and Punishment is an excellent choice too imo.

Sad to see no Paper Mario up there, though. I'd probably take that over anything else listed, except SM64.

Re: Take a Look at Square Enix's Upcoming 3DS JRPG

Noire

I think Squeenix is just trying to top their personal best of Infinite Undiscovery for most ridiculous title for a game.

I'm gonna buy this if it comes out west. Gotta support Square Enix whenever they make anything that isn't Final Fantasy. ... and whenever they make anything that is Final Fantasy.
