Let's face it, the desirable new amiibo are notoriously difficult to acquire. If you aren't online at exactly right time to slap in a pre-order at exactly the right time with a retailer in your own country, then you are left to buying from scalpers - which sucks big time, as we're sure you'll agree.
If you have missed out on any of the new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey or Fire Emblem Warriors amiibo, then you might want to consider importing from the lovely folks at Play-Asia, where stock appears to be bountiful even now.

Have all of them pre ordered from the UK Nintendo store. Just waiting for Tiki and Chrom ordered to go live and that'll be 2017's amiibo sorted!
The 4 pack of the Heroes was on sale last week on the UK Nintendo Store, but now of course is out of stock.
Did Play-Asia sponsor this post by any chance?
@Bunkerneath Nope. As the disclaimer clearly states, we get a small commission on orders (just like we do with many other retailers) but at the moment PA is the only retailer still accepting pre-orders.
@Bunkerneath Affiliate links, that's how it works. They don't need to be sponsored to earn some money. Of course that's perfectly fine, it's one of the ways of maintaining a website.
Demand for the Zelda Champsions amiibo didn't seem as strong as some others.
When pre-orders went up on the Nintendo UK Store, it took a while for the allocations to sell out. Meanwhile they restocked Ocarina of Time Link at the same time, and those allocations sold out much quicker.
Okay.
From Goomba and Koopa, what can I get from them if I scan on NFC Reader ( Right Joy Con) ?
I still think those amiibos are crazy expensive even if they look nice. I love my wolf link but I won't get another.
@G0dlike It's a bit weird that with less than 3 weeks to go until Fire Emblem Warriors reales - It's still not up for order at the UK Nintendo store! :/
I have ordered my FEW Special edition form Japan as it has the Art book included
Also, (lol) my Limited edition XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2 and Pro Controller has been pre-ordered in Japan
@cfgk24 I'm in the same boat. Have put a few orders in Japan just in case. That Xenoblade pro controller is 🔥 🔥🔥
Currently working out whether I can justify having a 3rd pro controller to go with my 3 sets of Joy Cons....
Awesome. I just got both Tiki and the 4 Champions on pre-order from play-asia. Now I don't have to wait in long lines for release days for any of the upcoming amiibo (I have Chrom and the various Mario amiibo on pre-order from best-buy).
Will have to keep my eye out for the 3 new Shovel Knight amiibo, of course. But my collection won't fall behind the curve!
@jswhitfield8 Not quite true - whilst the Champion Amiibo lasted longer than you'd normally expect something like this to go for, they were all sold out within 24 hours; the Mario Odyssey triple pack went in a few hours, max.
@G0dlike You only have 3 sets of Joycons?
You will need the Red Mario Odyssey set
How can you live without the Xenoblade Pro controller?
I just tel myself that when I finally wear out or break my Pro Controller - the next one is waiting in the wings
@jswhitfield8 Increased stock - they have a better idea of how many people are buying these 6 moths after the release of Zelda and how many of the previous amiibos sold - they will also have play time and amigo usage data collected from Players
Eh...just when I'm about to pull the trigger for Amiibo, I realize I could pick up another indie title for the same price. Just isn't for me I guess.
sigh I'm going to have to bite the bullet on these.
Wouldn't have to try and beat the scalpers ig Nintendo would make enough stock...
I’ve already had my Mario and Zelda amiibo preordered at GameStop months ago. But best of luck to whomever’s going for them!
I was going to buy these but by the time Delivery and VAT costs came it, it was over £40 for just 2 amiibos!
Beat the scalpers? More like support them.
