Simple, they promised the game for wii u in the first place, it would be just stupid to cancel it. Wii u got his last great game and can now rest in peace. And no i do not wish nintendo to keep bleeding money with the wii u either.

The only thing laking in the game with exception of dungeons are side quests wich allows Link to date side characters like Paya or Sidon.
