This model was already released stateside as a GameStop exclusive was it not? I sold Triforce Heroes because the game was rubbish after 3 hours but I kept my grubby hands on this beautiful specimen

More nerds talking about how bad the prequels are, I am so tired of that conversation, it's been beat to death and it's pretty clear you either liked them or hated them. Move on already.

That being said I loved Jedi Outcast on the GameCube, Not that it is that retro.

The reason some find it offensive is because this is the image that pops into people's head when they think of a Native American, while modern day tribe members are often ignored and feel as if they can never move past that identity. You have costumes labeled as "savage chieftain" and the very same people who destroyed your way of life wearing these cheap garbs that mimic something of great spiritual importance to them.

I don't think anyone could argue against this, but this game is such obvious and blatant filler it's ridiculous. Everything Besides Xenoblade Chronicles X releasing this year is clear filler to put something on the platform to keep people "happy" before they announce the NX this summer. I'm calling it right now.

I think Sonic plays far better in 2D, it'd be nice to see them put out a real retail 2D sonic like Sonic Advance on the GBA. Those three games were enjoyable in their own right and if they just kept the ideas of sonic simple and had solid level design, and didn't release the games nearly as often as they do, it would be a far more appreciated series. Also no more cheesy story or voice acting please.

With Miyamoto stating that it will draw more gamers to the Gamepad you have to think it would be stupid of Nintendo not to localize this. One of the companies key members has said it himself!

I don't see why there should be a separation of the Wind Waker and the HD remake. The HD remake is improved and has better visuals, but it's the same game.

@jrob23 While I agree with a lot of what you are saying, to criticize Mario Kart 8 for not selling 1-2 million consoles in what, 20 days? That seems a bit ludicrous. Nintendo dug themselves quite a ditch the first two years, and it's probably going to take just as much time to get out of it.

Pretty disappointed with the length of the trailer for this title.

1.) Well regardless that's a bit odd they would picture that controller if it isn't the one being discussed in the article.
2.) If starring at a photo of the controller and it's lower case and upper case buttons caused intrusive thoughts and anxiety, and an itching desire to change every button that it obsessive behavior, and could be considered OCD. I know what OCD is.
3.) That did give me a laugh, cheers!

2.) My OCD is kicking in hardcore with the lowercase and uppercase letters on the face of the controller.

UGH. Why the shift to 2D? Seriously Indie developers need to explore other genres, 2D platforming with a dark aesthetic environment? Almost as overdone as FPS.

This game looks a lot of fun. Kind of like Gravity Rush mixed with Jet Set Radio.

Streamline item inventory and the storage bin at home. I always have so much crap it is way to overwhelming.

I'm more than okay with this if it leads to Nintendo becoming a large household entertainment name again like they were in to 80's and 90's. They definitely need to expand their demographic past the family, however, I hope Iwata continues to focus on video games, and continues to improve upon that market. Some of the way he words his approach worries me, but we shall see what the future holds for Nintendo.

It seems that Japan is going to have a great summer when it comes to their releases. Besides Mario Kart 8 it doesn't seem like the Wii U drought of 2013 is ending anytime soon.

If those people are really that removed from the experience of the game, and have pain in their shoulders due to a lack of a cushion, maybe they should join the "dark side" and go outside and exercise a bit. I love the outdoors just as much as I love gaming, this is ridiculous. No money from me.

Nintendo isn't at the point where physical media will be ditched. The whole gaming industry isn't at that point yet. Maybe in another generation we will see that, which means I will no longer be buying consoles or handhelds. I'll be a Retro/PC Gamer and I'll wish that I could travel to an alternate dimension where physical media is just improved upon and not totally forsaken.

Also, I think the DS family line should end with the 3DS. Dual-screen is great but I'd like to see Nintendo do something new, bring something to the table that is a must have buy for all gamers.

Just focus on video games Iwata, I haven't been buying Nintendo's products for close to 16 years because I wanted to know my BMI. the casuals are dead, go back to video games, build a relationship with third party, blow these people out of the water.

I think this DLC, although a bit overpriced, is giving you a decent amount of content. Besides the game is being sold $10 dollars cheaper here in the US than most 3DS titles, so I don't see the issue.

I don't understand why people are complaining about the DLC before they even play the game, for all we know it may already be a complete package and not even necessary except for people who are really into the game. The game is being sold 10 dollars cheaper than a typical 3DS game (Amazon Price) so I don't see the problem yet

@Marshi I don't think there was one fan of the Resident Evil franchise series that asked for the Resident Evil 6 that Capcom made, so that comparison is ridiculous.

I hate what EA has become, I do enjoy the games they make but they just have this superiority complex, and anti-consumer practices. I have already refused to purchase another Madden game until they quit complaining about development time and give us a new and experience worthy of a full price dollar tag. Besides this their multiplatform titles would do the Wii U a lot of good. As for Ubisoft well I hope we still get their support but I'm still annoyed with them about Rayman Legends, and Watch_Dogs.

@shane1228 I'd love to think I'll enjoy that game as much as you did, but being left handed I don't think the stylus controls will be as great for me. I don't want to get the circle pad pro either. I may set the controls without the touch screen but I heard that's not nearly as great.

kind of stupid since the game is third person, pretty much the same experience as sitting way to close to the television.

I wish they would lower the price of Kid Icarus. I really want to play the game but the polarizing controls definitely don't want to make me pay 35 dollars.

Every time I use Miiverse I get heckled by 12 year olds with terrible grammar. People thought the team chat in Call of Duty was bad shudders they have not seen the horrors of Miiverse.

If Nintendo wanted to give us something so we could forgive them for abysmal virtual console support, they could put Mother 3 on the Wii U eshop since we are getting GBA games now. That'd be huge.

As great as this visual novel seems, there are many other 3DS titles I would really enjoy being localized.

@GuitarAnthony financially it was a failure, SEGA was in a bad position and it could have sold well given time but it didn't sell well enough to support the company. A commercial failure doesn't necessarily mean it was a failure to those that enjoyed it, I think the Dreamcast was a great system.

@ZephyrTortera I guarantee you that a size able portion of Japanese gamers will go for the handheld version as opposed to the Wii U, and potential adopters to the Wii U in the UK (where the wii u is doing poor and 3ds is selling well) may just say "what's the point? It's coming to 3ds". I think it's going to lose nintendo a lot of potential hardware sales.

I still think Nintendo is stupid for releasing Smash Bros. on the 3DS when they have a dying home console. I mean wait at least an extra year before you release the handheld version, give the Wii U some must have exclusive titles.
