Re: Sonic Lost World Sales Reached 640,000 in 2013

MuchoMochi

@SecondServing What? Half of 640,000 is not 200,000. It's 320,000. Honestly for this game, which has many flaws, was very enjoyable and Deserves the number it has. I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii U version sold more since it played much better than the 3DS one.

Re: Atlus Introduces Chlotz from Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars

@Kaze_Memaryu So a fairly obscure pun of one character's name is going to keep you from buying this game? It's probably intentional for his name to be like that. You should lighten up if that's how you feel it looks like a fun game

Also the word stereotype is incorrectly used there, the choice of his name being close to the german word for clumsy and his character actually being a klutz would be called "ironic".

Re: A Sonic Boom Game is Dashing Towards Wii U and 3DS

MuchoMochi

Please..PLEASE don't screw this game up. I'm genuinely excited about multiple playable characters again, the character styles are looking great, it looks more open world and explorable, but I can't take another sub-par game starring Sonic. Lost World was was fun, but somewhat lackluster. I'm really hesitantly hyped for this game.

Re: Sega Moves To Quash Sonic Rumours, PS4 & Xbox One News Was "Incorrect"

MuchoMochi

@Yasume Well they are contractually obligated to make it exclusive. Doesn't really matter anyway since almost every 3D Sonic game after Adventure 2 Battle has had negative reception and relatively poor sales. Sega themselves said Sonic sells best on Nintendo. The Wii U's install base is what is hurting sales right now, and Sonic isn't going to sell those systems, especially with unjustified negative reviews for Lost World.

Re: Video: A Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze TV Commercial Swings Into North America

@WaveBoy Just busting some chops there friend I haven't been 12 in 9 years! I do agree it wouldn't make anyone want the game if they hadn't been paying attention to all the gameplay videos being released over the holiday season. Nintendo definitely should be making commercials for every 1st party title as if it was game of the year material. I don't understand why they don't since they are the only video game business with characters over 20 years old that are still relevant.

Re: Satoru Iwata Announces a "Quality of Life" Platform Business of "Non-Wearable" Technology

MuchoMochi

@boynerdrambling Well seeing as Nintendo is the only dedicated gaming company of the three, I would say the comparison isn't really valid. Sony's other "revenue streams" are also doing rather poorly, seeing as they have roughly an 80% chance of going bankrupt in two years. I'd say people are worried about Nintendo becoming something other than a video game company. I don't want any more gimmicks, I just want some quality titles on a decent system. This speaks to me as if they are going in a different direction which I don't know if it'll be successful or not, but I believe it'll hurt Nintendo. Their casual market is drying up fast, I think Nintendo should be looking to attracting the dedicated gaming market once again. I hope they do something soon.

Re: Satoru Iwata Announces a "Quality of Life" Platform Business of "Non-Wearable" Technology

MuchoMochi

I know! How about you market a console with an actual series of commercials, and make a system with must have games? Seriously Iwata I want to know what the new Wii U game plan is in 2014. Not your next gimmick to keep yourself different. The casual market from the Wii is gone! just face facts, they aren't coming back. you need to focus on attracting the gamer to your hardware, not this junk. Wii Fit is a fad, and it's a slowly fading fad. I wish that they would just focus on increasing third party support and maybe working on a more attractive system to release in 2017. I am perfectly fine jogging to be fit, not lying to myself and pretending to do some hula hoops without going into the damn sunlight. that's just a embarrassing and a sad idea that I don't want pursued.

Re: Talking Point: Is There A Future For The Wii U Without The GamePad?

MuchoMochi

I love the gamepad, it's a great little addition that I think is fun enough with it's limited use in games so far, I like the off tv play and map in front of me at all times. That being said, I voted yes because I think the gamepad should be an optional purchase. Most gamers just want a typical controller, I think they should just bundle the wii u with a pro controller, distance the wii mote by just using it in party-esque games or as an controller scheme to be used by the people that enjoy it. I don't like wiimotes at all, I think it's a god awful controller and that's the reason I didn't enjoy the wii as much as the GameCube. I think nintendo should focus on the games and not the controller gimmicks to make them different. Use the games to differentiate yourself from the competition. I am perfectly happy with the gamepad, but either implement it more efficiently or get sell it as an add on, lower the price and throw in a pro controller.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Wii U Struggles Bring a Challenge, Not Doom

MuchoMochi

Judging from the comment section I think everyone who visits this site thinks they are analysts, CEO's, and much more capable of running a company. I think as gamers we have our opinions of what would be better and a lot of what I see makes sense and Nintendo and all the gaming companies could head our advice and get a little more consumer input, but we have no idea what running a company like that details. It's pretty crazy any of you think otherwise.

Re: Iwata Accepts Responsibility For Poor Financial Results, Ignores Calls To Resign

MuchoMochi

I love that everyone here immediately becomes the most intelligent and well versed business analyst who knows exactly what Nintendo should do to make the Wii U a success when an article about sales pops up. Maybe you guys should apply for Iwata's job! In all seriousness no, I don't think Iwata should resign, not in the middle of a console generation. Sales have improved during the holidays. Just bring out good games and the Wii U shale survive, albeit not as successful as the wii. That's just my opinion though, I don't know anything about running a billion dollar company, none of us do. I just play video games.

Re: Hyrule Warriors Is Zelda Meets Dynasty Warriors, And It's Coming To Wii U In 2014

MuchoMochi

Honestly? This game looks awesome. Sure they could have made it a new IP, but then Nintendo haters would have called it a Tecmo DW ripoff. With this crossover people can get a mindless beat em up starring the most famous adventurer in video games. I've wanted another way to play as link since his appearance in Soul Caliber on the gamecube. The graphics just need to be pushed a little, but to who called it a reskinned PS2 game should really go turn on their PS2. this pretty much looks better than most on that platform and I still play that daily.

@Drop-Dead-Fred Wow I didn't realize you guys had not gotten SMT IV yet, That really sucks I'm loving that game I picked up the limited edition with art booklet too. Yeah you guys only have less than two weeks, we aren't getting that one until December 6th in the US.
