@YANDMAN The PAL spines have the Text in the dead Middle and have a bolder Font. Plus the color at the bottom of the spine indicating a rating. It just doesn’t look that nice compared to the other regions, although Japan also uses colors for their ratings at the bottom. NA and Asia are the same.

This is amazing news!!!!!! The Switch has almost the entire library of Neo Geo games!!!!! But knowing this company, they will most likely go with Strictly Limited Games for the physical release. I personally don’t import because i just don’t like the spines on PAL region Switch games, but i will most definitely download this day one!!! Now all we need is Double Dragon and SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom and i’ll have literally every Neo Geo game i’ve ever wanted!

Vice actually looks pretty good. Kung Fu Heroes looks ok. Would’ve have preferred Kung Fu instead! But in all seriousness, im not super against NES titles, i just wish they brought out bigger ones. Like Mega Man 1-6, Castlevania 1-3, Contra and Super C, Ninja Gaiden 2-3, Street Fighter 2010, Mighty Final Fight. I know some of these are in compilations but some people just want the NES games and not pay for a whole collection. Plus games like Contra could be super interesting online!

This is wonderful news! I can’t be more excited! I will be picking this game up to support this team, and hopefully someone releases it physically!

Yes!!! Samurai Shodown is a great game!!! Im so glad its getting more content!!!! SNK is really back on top as of late. Hoping to see them confirm KOF XV for Switch!!!

Ugh, i really hate Capcom when they do this. They should have just released each game individually so that they each have their own cart! Getting really tired of the Download code required method.

Hmmmmm. Not really the best month but those are some alright games. Wrecking Crew is ok and Donkey Kong 3 is a fun gem but it gets tiring. DK3 is also irrelevant because the Arcade Version is on the Eshop. Idk, this is the kind of stuff that makes me miss a proper Virtual Console. I would gladly add these to my collection yes, but theres still so many NES games that aren't here, plus all the rest of the retro Nintendo consoles. I really hope Nintendo learns from this. They probably won’t, but heres hoping.

Nintendo Online is whatever, but the big thing that gets me is them locking the Retro Nintendo games behind this service. Virtual Console is literally the only thing that holds the Switch back from perfection imo. I can’t believe they thought not having it was a good idea. I look at the Switch as a “one stop shop” for all things Nintendo. The virtual console could’ve have been extraordinary with NES, Game Boy, SNES, Game Boy Color, N64, Game Boy Advance, Gamecube and some cool 3rd party stuff like Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear, Turbo-Graphx 16 amd more! Plus this drip feeding of games is really bad. Only 3 games a month?!? The NES is home to over 1000 games. Virtual Console needs to happen.

Man, no multiplayer is a big OOF, but it still looks really good. Plus Collection of Mana is fully Multiplayer, so i’m excited either way!

@Reigestugatensho that would be a really cool one! If were basing themes off of games though, one based on the Sega Genesis version would be really cool looking as well.

@FX102A Lost Sphear was sold in the west, exclusively on the Square Enix Online Store. Thats probably why Square doesn’t want to release it physically here in the west.

On the Sega Ages side, im still waiting for Virtua Racing and now this!!!! I really want this!!!! On the Wonder Boy side of things, i need Wonder Boy in Monster World and Monster World IV to complete the series on Switch.

VS. Excitebike is going to be a lot of fun Online. As for the other 2......i guess. Clu Clu Land is ok at best and while Donkey Kong Jr. is really good, we already have the Arcade Archives version.....so its not even worth it. Overall pretty meh month. Last month was much better.

I only need SVC Chaos: SNK Vs Capcom and Double Dragon and i would be totally happy with the current line up!!!
@VR32X no the collection will not include Sam Sho 6. That game was not part of the Neo Geo line up and it seems Digital Eclipse is only focusing on those 6 Neo Geo titles. I would be happy as well to get 6, even though i think its one of the worst games in the series.

@MaSSiVeRiCaN i believe signature games is just Merge Games over here in the states. We just get standard versions of the releases.

@BensonUii while i do think its pretty crazy with how many companies are doing these limited releases, i only really buy from 2, Limited Run and EastAsiaSoft. (Technically i buy from Special Reserve Games but they partner with Limited Run so its all the same to me really). I specifically buy from them because im in the U.S.A. and im kinda ocd about my Switch collection. Not a fan of how the Pal version side labels have the text in the dead middle. I also don’t really import so i guess theres that lol. (Also before anybody else tells me, i know buying EasAsiaSoft games are technically imports, but they make their games with american audiences in mind so the spine matches NTSC copies.)

What a good month!!! But im curious as to how long they are going to keep this up. I love the 1st party stuff but 3rd party NES games are just as important. And really big titles still haven't shown up. The likes of Mega Man, Castlevania, Contra, Bomberman 2, Bubble Bobble, Final Fantasy and even the Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) series. I know some or even most of these are on other collections but gettimg them for free and having to ability to play online is what makes them worth!

Gonna buy it day one digitally and then buy the physical copy. I love this game and its one of my favorite games of this generation. I just need it at all times!!!

YES!! With KOF 2003 we now have the entire Neo Geo KOF series!!! Im max hyped about that! On top of that i will also be getting Baseball Stars 2 and Samurai Shodown V Special.

This looks awesome!!! I’ll be downloading it since im here in the states, and Super Rare Games are european. That means im super o.c.d. about how my collection looks and those spine label differences stop me from ordering from them. Its the only reason i order from Limited Run and EastAsiaSoft.

Merry Christmas to all of you guys as well!!! I’ll be playing all the games i got this year!!!

I always and will continue to buy Physical Copies. Its important to keep these games preserved for the future. Im also not an import gamer however, (with the exception of eastasiasoft exclusives since they purposely make their physical copies look like NTSC) and thats mostly due to money and space, so i do purchase from Limited Run Games but not Super Rare Games. So if a game gets announced through Super Rare Games then i usually just download it. I also download games if they’re digital only, but physical will always be my preferred choice!

Why is it that every week it lists the wrong ACA titles. I believe this week is Puzzle Bobble (Neo Geo) and Donkey Kong Jr.

Oh this is a day 1 for sure!!! Outrun is fantastic and one of my go to games for quickplays!!
