I've been loving Otogi Katsugeki Mameda no Bakeru: Oracle Saitaroi non Sainan!!, great taiko drum fighting system and transformations too! Just lovely 3D platformer all-around.
If you have a Japanese account it did have a launch discount too, the language hasn't been much of barrier.
(This is Good-Feel's Ganbare Goemon spiritual successor BTW)
In 1998 my mom got me Gold Box Zelda Ocarina of Time when it came out and I played it and didn't like it because you couldn't jump like Mario 64.
Since I couldn't watch the show (and Software Etc didn't care if you were a kid buying M rated games) I traded it for South Park 64. Which I did play and have fun with friends but wasn't great.
I learned my lesson and never traded or got rid of any of my collection since that. I got a letter about this story highlighted in EGM in 2007, so that's a silver lining too!
The expensive ones like Fire Emblem and Skies of Arcadia for me please. I was mostly on top of buying Gamecube titles as they came out but a few slipped through the cracks and now I live a life of regerts.
In the lead up to Wind Waker he was referred to Cat-Eye link by Nintendo and possibly by Miyamoto/Aonuma going by my memory. I think Smash Bros. Brawl later cemented this incarnation later as Toon Link. It's been 20+ years so I could be wrong.
I remember thinking when I first saw that Lugia PT Cruiser as a kid that I would totally buy after I was old enough to drive. Such a distinct and cool design for the time.
I'm glad to see it's safe in a Pokemon fan's hands and they have worked so hard to restore it!

Re: All amiibo List - Every Animal Crossing, Zelda, Smash Bros., Street Fighter, Metroid, Mario, Donkey Kong amiibo
Any good recommendations for apps to keep track of amiibo and amiibo card collections?
I used to use coliibo but they stopped updating years ago.
Re: Random: C'mon Nintendo, You Can Design A Better Mario Plane Than This
They could have done something a lot more interesting, this looks like a child's bedsheet pattern.
Ace Combat 3DS had a bunch or gnarly Nintendo designs like the Bowser fighter jet.
Re: Trombone Champ Lands Two Festive Songs In New Holiday Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
More songs! Love it! Most fun I've had with any game this year, I was crying laughing at it.
I would pay for substantial music packs if they offered those too!

The 9-Volt boss stages in Warioware: Twisted weren't the complete game but playing a spherical versions with tilt controls was a trip!

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Name Link When You're Playing A Zelda Game?
Something Rude!
Had a friend who named him "Ur Naked". That gave me a few chuckles back in the day. "Don't be alarmed, Ur Naked!"
Sorry, very immature humor!
Re: Quiz: Which Of These Games Is On Switch?

Re: Poll: What's The Best Piece Of Music In A Nintendo Game?
My brain says Mario Galaxy or Animal Crossing but my heart says the Wii Shop Channel, as it is the pulse running through my veins.

"God Damn The Garden" That name made me laugh so I might check it out.
