Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

Got my copy early yesterday. Good overall but definitely needs a decent controller or arcade stick. Somewhat disappointed to find it's the USA version of ssf2turbo with its cheap input reading AI. Would have much preferred the Japanese version.

Re: Review: Bad Dudes (Switch eShop)

Miketeevee76

Was looking forward to this but sadly what with it not even including the full roster of moves I'll pass. If you're reading this and other comments FTE you'll see you really need to up your game as it's seems I'm not the only potential customer you've lost.

Re: The Original Double Dragon Brings Street Justice To The Switch Next Week

Miketeevee76

Dream come true. I was obsessed with this game as a youngster. The prospect of portable 2 player has me salivating.... This could also push a friend, whom hasn't owned a console since the megadrive, into buying a switch. I'm perhaps more excited for this than anything else this Xmas time. Fingers crossed this is the start of hamster porting across the arcade archives that appeared on the ps4, Double Dragon 2 included.

@joey302 having not read the headline properly I initially thought this article was for the hamsters arcade archives coming to switch, imagine my disappointment. Like you say maybe one day they'll stop their obsession with porting neo geo games, after all how many versions of king of fighters do we actually need?!

Re: Delivery Issues Spoil Nintendo Switch Launch Day for Unlucky UK Buyers

Miketeevee76

I find the whole situation really bizarre and seems to highlight that non of said retailers have a an ordering system that works; there looks to be no correlation between when a preorder was placed and when someone would receive it. For example I read that someone had only placed their order the day before release with Nintendo and received it on launch day whereas others who ordered months prior have been left high and dry. I think all of these retailers need to get back to basics and reexamine their stock and order systems.

Re: First Impressions: Round One With Ultra Street Fighter II On Nintendo Switch

Miketeevee76

I understand how this could be considered a slightly lazy move by capcom but I'm such a shameless street fighter nut, owning multiples of the same versions on many different systems, that I'll definitely be picking this up. It almost feels like street fighter 2 is coming home after 25 years after its original release on the super famicom. I still remember actually getting my hands on an imported copy a day before the Japanese release way back in 1992, halcyon days although it did interfere with my college work!

Re: Review: Ninja Five-O (GBA)

Miketeevee76

@kickerofelves thanks for the reply comment, in hindsight I feel I was probably unduly harsh in my first comment. Emotions overtook I was initially disappointed because I thought perhaps it was a rerelease on the eshop.

I haven't seen the offers selling copies, I will take a look. Yes I agree it does seem to have escalated somewhat, in my defence I only responded again as I felt the comment I received yesterday was somewhat of a personal slight. Discussion and disagreement I can accept personal insults I won't.

Re: Review: Ninja Five-O (GBA)

@knightRider666. No need to get personal. It would seem you lhave made assumptions about me from my post. I've no problem with reviewing a game if it's relevant, if for example it was being rereleased on the Nintendo estore, but it wasn't. Plus it neglected to mention just how rare and expensive it was, casually suggesting it would be a "cool" addition to a collection. Plus, just for your information I do collect for certain retro systems and have paid £150 upwards for games, but no way would I ever stump up £450 for a gba game. Seriously?! Are you really trying to compare $75 dollars a couple of years ago to £450 now? That's pretty laughable.

Re: Review: Ninja Five-O (GBA)

Miketeevee76

@Damo Nope he's not. There are 2 copies currently listed on eBay, one at £290 and the other at £478! Indeed this is an ill conceived review of a game that is fundamentally unobtainable to any with more sense than money. Must be a slack day for news items at Nintendo life for this review to be given the green light.
