Two new retro-themed handhelds will be shown off at CES 2017, according to distributor Innex.
The Retro-Bit Generations Portable is a handheld version of the existing Retro-Bit Generations system which launched this year. It's not known if it will come with the exact same 100 pre-installed games, but it has been confirmed that the device will boast a HD screen.
The second product is the Super Retro Boy, a 3-in-1 handheld which accepts Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance cartridges - a feat the original Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP were capable of.
Here's the flyer which is being emailed out by Innex to potential CES visitors:
CES 2017 takes place between the 5th and 8th of January, 2017.

Awesome. I've been wanting a portable device to play my old GB/GBC/GBA carts with a better screen & size than my SP.
I'd love it if it was super pretty like the Rose-Colored Gaming devices.
@Jumpman Probably not
@vincentgoodwin
If the new gadgets can save GB/GBC/GBA data internally also (If it can) oh my gosh...
But I think it will save inside the game card as usual.
While many out there go crazy for 4k fancy consoles and devices, there's me longing to have a system that can play all Gameboy/Advance games at their best. :3 This is really interesting for me!
I'd rather just get a GBA SP backlit version, aka the best-designed portable console of all time.
I'll just stick with my actual GBA. It sounds promising for those who don't or no longer have one, though.
If the retro bit handheld is anything like the retro bit generations console it's nothing to get excited about....
I went through the same dilemma when wanting an improved screen for my gameboy and advanced gameboy games. After being completely put off by the extortionate second hand prices of gb advances with an ags 101 screen I plumped for a DS lite which probably has an even better screen and are much cheaper second hand.
That Game Boy handheld sounds awesome, looking forward to it.
@Jumpman If it's anything like its predecessor, then it's a Bluetooth controller with a separately-sold adapter for the console it's based on, as was done with the original 8BITDO and the SNES.
@ninty-love There are a few options that exist for the NES and SNES so in theory, the N64 would be the next console to receive such a device.
Unfortunately the ds and ds lite can't play gb or gbc games, only ds and gab titles. While I have an sp, a gba with an ags101 screen, and a ds lite, id be interested in a modern handheld to play all three types of games. My current ones are awesome but pricey to replace and will gradually be harder to find and more expensive and supplies dwindle. I look forward to see how their portable turns out.
The 3 in 1 sounds promising. Been wanting to get into gaming with GB/GBC/GBA so if the device is good and the price right might be a good option.
Otherwise it is GBA SP with AGS 101.
