Retro-Bit has revealed that select Technos titles will be featured on its forthcoming Super Retro-Bit micro-console.
The company lifted the lid on the new system a short time ago, and announced that it would come pre-loaded with Capcom and Data East titles such as Strider, Final Fight, Joe & Mac and many more besides.
Technos is of course most famous for its seminal Double Dragon series, which will feature in the Super Retro-Cade's lineup. Other genre classics such as Combatribes and Renegade will also make the cut.
The console launches this year for $59.99. Does this news put you any closer to ordering one yourself? Let us know with a comment.

I helped fund the Retro Dreamcade and intend to fully load it with MAME titles of my own choosing, but I will include Double Dragon and The Combatribes for sure, they're a hoot.
OMG...Exciting Hour...I totally forgot about that game.
Now you have my interest
Let's hope the emulation doesn't suck.
Wow, I can go for this. It would be cool if it had an arcade stick to it as well but I would still pick this up.
If it got River City Ransom and Final Fight would make this must buy for me. Now if only they would get Konami to jump on board and give us some Castlevania and Contra, that would be splendid.
Damnit, on fight sight I thought is was for the Hamster ACA.
Conceptually it's cool, but way too many beat 'em ups and platformers for my taste. The inclusion of Super Dodge Ball is a step in the right direction though. If they offered a selection of Kunio sports titles on this thing, I'd consider it.
I will buy this if the emulation proves to run smooth. The thought of any of those Genesis Flashbacks on shelves has got me super gun shy.
@retro_player_22 If they had the Castlevania 3 on it - instant buy. If it had the disk system version on it I'd die.
This is going to be a beat up machine! I'm all in.
Anyone know if Hamster are bringing the arcade archives to Switch. I would be very happy with those games.
@GrailUK yes all the ones that PS4 has like double dragon, super cobra, Contra, etc etc that would be awesome. Perhaps one day when they run out of Neo Geo games!!
I really felt burned on Retro’s last console that had 100 games on it. Turn off #1 was too many game boy black & white games and 2 of course was the bad emulation be it slow down, sound or what have you. THIS TIME around i’ll Wait to see what the feedback will be. Game lineup sounds strong but again no point if they don’t straighten all that out.
@World "If they offered a selection of Kunio sports titles on this thing, I'd consider it."
You mean like Kunio-Kun: The World Classics Collection coming out next year?
Looks like some awesome gaming at Wow! A great price. I may actually look at this one. Strider has always been a huge favorite. I wish it had got the 3d classic treatment on 3ds. It would have been an awesome 3d classic
Think I would get this if it came to the UK. Would like to know if the emulation is any good first though.
@masterLEON Yes! Exactly like that! And it's coming to Switch? Nice! I remember it being announced, but just assumed it would never come to Switch.
guys, theres more news. irem is a confirmed company and is bringing arcade games to this system as well. im pretty sure were gonna see 64th street a detective story, undercover cops and blade master. all arcade games. and probably in the hunt and the unreleased chimera beast. irems contributions are leaning towards the selection they offered previously for download on the pc collection.
thats chimera beast above.
and check the youtube link for a review of the system in its early build.

I'd give anything for Xain'd Sleena to be on there.
@joey302 having not read the headline properly I initially thought this article was for the hamsters arcade archives coming to switch, imagine my disappointment. Like you say maybe one day they'll stop their obsession with porting neo geo games, after all how many versions of king of fighters do we actually need?!
@ogo79 I thought I'd seen most of the shmups from back in the day but Chimera Beast is new to me. Looks like a weird cross between R-Type and Darius.
So Irem is on there too. I hope they do Dragon Breed and R-Type Leo.
@Nomad
its probably gonna be most of the pc compilation they had before.
