I disagree with the muscular men is the same thing analogy. Geralt is kinda ugly, very covered up in clothes and carries a very successful RPG series. The Witcher 3 is one of the most anticipated games this year. What ugly or average covered up woman also has this success?

I don't think the problem is objectification of women but the fact that there is nothing to balance it out. With male characters many are objectified and many are not and have successful franchises. Mario? Link? Geralt? Nathan Drake is good looking but he is not sexualised. Fox? Pit? Too many to name.

What we need is more successful franchises with female leads then games like this wouldn't stick out so much. Who's up for a Zelda game? More Metroid anyone

IGN gave this a 5 too. I've already got the game and would say midway between 4 and 9 is an about right score. It is quite repetitive.

I have a feeling this one is still coming for some reason. I'm usually as negative as it gets but I think this was just a mistake.

Oh crap I still haven't preordered Pokemon. This month has been such a whirlwind I forgot all about it

Nintendo need to look at what makes the 3DS so good and apply that to the Wii U.

When are people going to be this excited over a Nintendo game again, like old times?

I don't get what would be in that deal for Apple, they are hugely popular without Nintendo.

It's too early to say, I need to see whether Mario Kart and SSb are going to be the saving graces everyone thinks they'll be.

Surely it's the Wii U that needs the big advertising push?

The design of Kefka looks awful but apart from that it's a decent attempt.

Nope, if anything it's suspiciously low. It costs around 500, 000 to 1.5 mill to make a 3DS game, I think, so I would expect it costs a lot more to make a platformer for consoles/PC. with higher graphical expectations.

I really hope we get this version. Difficulty setting, yes please.

No, I'm afraid if you release the Super Sander 270 tomorrow it is not my responsibility as a third party to sell your consoles for you. If they don't sell it is your fault.

Also I hope you know that the developers who work hard to make this game have no control over the decisions the big boys at the top make, right? It's obvious they've made a brilliant game, why do they deserve to be snubbed?

Nintendo has also made mistakes. Huge ones. Wii U sold 10,000 in three months in Europe, Australia AND the rest of the world combined. That's dreadful by any standards. Whose fault is that? Will you be punishing Nintendo for their mistakes by not buying their games like you will Ubisoft?

At least Ubisoft is supporting the Wii U with their major releases Rayman, Assassin's, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs. Where is EA? Where is Square? Where is Rockstar? All of whom have games coming to consoles not even released yet.

I haven't played Assassin's Creed since the first one, this looks like an ok place to jump back in lol

It's coming to everything but 3DS I wonder why. Still looks quite interesting might get it on WIi U or Vita.

Heroes of Ruin did a lot of things right but not enough quantity. If only it had sold better a sequel could have improved on it. Heroes of Ruin should have

• Raised the Level cap much higher
• Had difficulty options easy, normal etc
• Sharper graphics
• Had more to do in the game.
• More customisation.

If it's a good game, then it's a good game end of story.

Would love on Wii U but if not PC will suffice

I'm really interested in this. Who says platformers have to have shallow stories? I'm happy that story is going to be important to them.

But isn't the reason the 3DS started doing well because it had a huge price cut? So huge in fact that Nintendo knew people who paid £229 at launch for it would feel snubbed and did the Ambassador programme. A price cut coupled with great games around Christmas would do the same for the Wii U I think.

How would you prove your 3DS is lost? I understand you have to prove it was stolen with a police report but loss would be hard to prove.

I'm not sure I will be able to get it this year. I want it but there are so many other games releasing I want more Etrian Odyssey IV, Professor Leyton, Bravely Default (maybe), Pokemon, Sonic. I need some money to eat after all.

This looks nice, let me just get my card and... oh wait of course... this has no release date for Europe. And Americans think they have it bad

I hope it sells well. It's definitely one the more unique titles I'll be adding to my collection.

As proved with the 3DS, people have it in their head that a Nintendo console must be cheap which is a pretty hard tag to shake off.

This news is literally everywhere. Sites that barely cover the Wii U always manage to pick up these articles to report. I would say it doesn't matter but it does, more bad publicity for the Wii U and barely any advertising from Nintendo.

I know I'm biased but I prefer the Nintendo costumes and i've already forgiven Ubisoft. It's pointless holding a grudge, so Wii U version it is.

It's better for PC but i'm sticking to my theory that Wii U would have the better controls for PC RPGs (due to the touchscreen) than PS4 or Xbox One so this is a bit of a shame.

That's probably true lol

I think most people here will have either a PC or another console. Multiplatform releases prove disappointing even when they do bother to come to the Wii U. More interesting will be third party exclusives built from the ground up for WiI U. This will only start happening when the WII U starts selling.

To be honest this was a lose lose scenario for Ubisoft. If they had delayed the game you guys would be up in arms. From the other things they've mentioned it's obvious effort was put in. Why not save your anger for EA, CD Projekt Red, Rockstar, Square Enix or Blizzard who are skipping out the Wii U entirely with their AAA titles?

If you guys chase away Ubisoft with your complaints soon there will be no big third parties left supporting the Wii U. This doesn't seem even HALF as bad as the Batman or Mass Effect ports xD

I love the way the enemies run across the foreground and the protagonist is completely unaware. Brilliant use of 3D in that regard. I'm surprised people are so down on the game and that it got 4.7 from IGN. I think people are letting nostalgia blind them from seeing a good game. I've never played a previous Castlevania but this game is good in its own right.

For those who played the demo or are thinking about it. The demo is NOTHING compared to the actual game. I'm surprised the demo was of such a low quality. I didn't buy it because of the IGN review and the demo but I decided to pick it up because of the get 4 games get one free deal and it's one of my favourite 3DS games. Beautiful visuals, satisfying gameplay and I love the thoughts of the knights that you pick up, really engrosses you and makes you feel for them having to die in that place. Also the music is bliss.

Why do Nintendo fans always have to prove their interest? Not just in this situation but it's an excuse I've noticed a lot.

At least they are bringing their big titles like Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed better than completely skipping the Wii U for their AAA titles like Bioware/EA, Square Enix, Blizzard, Rockstar, CD Projekt and more...

I'm not sure which one of my comments are debatable as I've made too many :3 but I'll try and answer anyway.

That's true but It's the glowing press that the PS4 has been getting that will help. The PS4 seems like it can do no wrong. Xbox 1 I'm not so sure, people seem surprisingly willing to forgive after the u-turn. They are selling more than "overrated" shooters that are not coming to the Wii U. Kingdom Hearts, FFXV are both not shooters and command much larger fanbases I would say, especially Final Fantasy. What is there on Wii U for RPG or FPS fans? Very little I would say. X and SMT X FE? Two titles and the prospect of no WRPGs at all is ridiculous when comparing to consoles not even out yet, It's not even like Wii U is missing out on a few titles. It's missing out on most of them. Unacceptable really. But only time will tell whether Wii U will be able stay above the water on the backs of first party exclusives. Bayonetta, Wonderful 101 and X are a step in the right direction but Nintendo can't do all of this on their own. I accept that Nintendo are dear to you. They are dear to me too but something more must be done about the lack of compelling titles.
