@masterLEON Thanks for explaining in detail Might pick it up in a few months or so, since I've already got IV and haven't grow tired of it yet. The different strategies sound nice though.
I bought 2 8bitdo classic receivers a few weeks ago for $14 each, so I can use my Wii Classic controllers on my SNES Mini
Perfect sync, stability and response. Also, I removed the plastic cap from the receivers and put them inside my Mini, so it has a very clean look indeed!
@StephenYap3 Yeah, I hear ya. I find solace in its great gameplay though, this used to be against online players but is now mostly a joy when played with 3 other friends on occassion when we're not too busy playing ARMS on Switch
@StephenYap3 I've really enjoyed Ultra Smash, though its main course is of course the multiplayer since there is no single player content which made it the worst tennis Nintendo game in existence. Top notch gameplay though.
@Anti-Matter Same, although I'm mostly using my Wii U Pro controllers now since my Wii motes + Classic Controllers are currently synced to my SNES Mini. These Mayflash adapters are amazing though (and relatively cheap at about 18 euro), can even use them to play Steam games with my Switch Pro controller.
@SimplyCinnamon53 No, no one buys these weird Neo Geo games. Except for the 200K people who bought one 7 months ago, when Hamster released sales numbers only 7 weeks after the Switch released back in March. So that is probably over 1 million by now, and that's being pessimistic as well
Amazing game, been playing it alone and with friends for 2 weeks now. Glad to see it still got a review Solid 8/10 in my book, very addicting as well in pro mode!
Just a great game with awesome mechanics. Especially local multiplayer is amazing with a few people, my favourite of all current local multiplayer games.
I'm getting the limited 1+2 retail package for 40 bucks, although I know its price is far too high when compared to the other portable version (Android). I played it for a few hours on PC and loved it, but would love it even more on portable with headphones on. The Android version has one hell of an ugly comic sense font though, so that might've tipped me over the edge.
@Capt_N Yeah, that's the thing. I don't think the Switch has enough cpu power and memory bandwidth to be consistently recording video in real time. So it must be some kind of 'special' reconditioning of player data history to make the output. But indeed, all speculation thus far.
@datamonkey Excite Truck 2 would be amazing! Still mad at Nintendo for not publishing that sequel in Europe. Hmm what was it called again, oh yeah Excitebots! Thanks guys.
@Tetsuro I really loved those animation and sounds when the pieces clashed Actually, I played it a lot before I had a real soundcard so it was mostly aggressive beeps, but refined beeps none the less.
@Pizzapasta You mean that the ball is loose? That's pretty normal I'm now pretty much used to the Hayabusa buttons, they don't have a lot of feedback but maybe that contributes to speed.
@Pizzapasta I have two of those right here, I got them in a sale for a 100 bucks each. They're amazing! It really adds to the experience, a lot more fun with them when compared to playing with just the joy-con or the Pro controller. But it does take a bit of a learning curve though. Also, I might order a few Sanwa buttons to see how they compare to the standard Hayabusa ones.
Hmm, at what percentage was the sales discount? Can't find anything about it at the moment.
@crackafreeze Has there ever been a ACA sale on the other platforms such as PS4 and XB1? I've bought a lot of them on my Switch until now, somehow thinking that won't happen any time soon.
I remember when I first experienced the 3D effect of the 3DS very late in its life span, when the N3DSXL and the Majora's Mask remake were released. I was BLOWN AWAY, seriously it oozed magic and wonders of Nintendo games to a whole new degree for me.
I'm sad so many people haven't yet experienced the stable 3D on the N3DS, because after trying the normal 3DS at a friends it is just so much better. If only they released it like this back in the day!
I'm very glad Metroid has been the swan song of the 3DS, probably being the last beautiful 3D production of a Nintendo game.
Looks beautiful to me, art style looks amazing. Bit low on budget though because of all the other games released + Odyssey, so I'll get this in a sale somewhere down the line probably.
Also, schmups should be hard. And yes, of course you lose your powerups when you die. Have you never played an arcade game before? All this hand-holding of current gamers is making me nauseous
Damn, haven't finished either of these and paid a whole lot more. At least I don't get the ugly selects cover though. Next time I should wait for a main Nintendo line game to go select, and pick up a non-select cover very cheap shortly after. Only problem is, this may take at least 4-5 years.
Anyone figure Metroid 3DS will go select in a few years? Probably not.
Lovin' these Neo Geo classics so much, keep em coming! Also, for an even more arcade feel pick up the Hori Real Arcade stick for Switch. Pure click-ety-click-ety awesomeness
Great game. Now if only the static noise in docked mode problem could get fixed asap, cause it's really irritating. A restart of the game temporarily fixes it, but comes back soon enough
Damn, I thought it was a 4-player multitap option opening up (because of the small wii-like output on the back of the two normal super nintendo plugs) for the SNES Classic Mini at first, but no.

Re: Enter the Gungeon Has Been a Sales Success on the Switch eShop
Great game, although I've only spent 1,5 hours with it yet because of all the moons in Odyssey
Re: Out Today: Monday Releases Are a Thing on the Switch eShop - Good Times
@Scottie Right joystick to aim, right top trigger to shoot. Left joystick to move.

@Shiryu Allright, so less fluff you mean? In what way?
Re: The Next Batch Of ACA Neo Geo Titles For Switch Has Been Revealed
Picking up Pulstar and King of the Monsters! Had a lot of fun already with Samurai Shodown IV, any reason to get II now?

Re: Karnov Will Have His Revenge On The Switch eShop This Week
@Lroy Yea, at least http://Nintendoeverything.com seem to report timely on new Hamster ports and release schedules.
Re: Karnov Will Have His Revenge On The Switch eShop This Week
@Damo Nice report, but not even 1 in-game picture or some embedded youtube footage?

Great game! Wonder why I don't have the option to add it to 'my games' yet?
Re: 1-2 Switch Update Adds Video Sharing Functionality
@Capt_N Haha thanks, you're the first recognising it actually
@GC-161 What? You mean Nintendo being autonomous en cheeky?
Re: 1-2 Switch Update Adds Video Sharing Functionality

Re: 1-2 Switch Update Adds Video Sharing Functionality
@Capt_N Is this a thing on any other system? Cause I'm sure it's pretty hard to do universally.
Re: Review: Monster Jam: Crush It! (Switch)
@datamonkey i don't either, was never able to play it Wasn't Excitebots just as well rated as Excite truck though?

Re: Owlboy Will Swoop Onto the Switch on 13th February
And... what about Hollow Knight?
Surprise release hopefully, since they still seem to say '2017'
Re: Review: Mutation Nation (Switch eShop / Neo Geo)
@Docx360 What does this have to do with Mutation Nation? Are you saying Octodad is a mutated specimen?
Re: Owlboy Will Swoop Onto the Switch on 13th February
@OorWullie Agreed! Just pay more for physical, since more resources are being used.

Whennnnn?
Re: Metal Slug X is Your Next ACA Neo Geo Release on the Switch eShop
Somehow there haven't been any reports on the upcoming Neo Geo ports on Switch on this site, so there you go!
October 5 - Metal Slug X
October 12 - KoF '95
October 19 - Robo Army
October 26 - Mutation Nation
Re: Stardew Valley Arrives on the Switch eShop This Week
Hellz yeah, getting it day 1 since I held off on the PC version after the Switch announcement
Now, I just want Hollow Knight and Owlboy!
