As your humble scribe was checking the European and North American eShop in preparation for the now-traditional 'Out Now' early mini Nintendo Download article on Tuesday, it emerged that three games are out in Europe today, a Monday. With the Switch eShop throwing so many delicious games at us on a weekly basis it makes sense that it's another day on which we can gawk at new releases.
It's a bit of a catch-up day in Europe with three new arrivals, though one of them is also making its way to North America. So, without further ado let's get to it.

Enter the Gungeon (Devolver Digital) - £10.99 / €14.99 / $14.99USD
Out in Europe today (four days after the NA release), this is a smartly designed roguelike in which you go into a run with the hope that a mix of skill, luck and perfect drops will see you make it all the way through. It has some smart twists to keep you going, too; we bloomin' loved it in our Enter the Gungeon review.
Floor Kids (Merj Media) - £15.99 / $19.90USD
Released in North America earlier in the month, this rather unique and charming rhythm / dancing game has finally arrived. With just sticks and buttons at your disposal you have to find the flow and pull off funky dance moves across various tournaments. We loved it in our Floor Kids review and were lucky enough to speak to JonJon and Kid Koala about the game.
60 Seconds! (Robot Gentleman) - £8.50 / €9.99 / $9.99USD
Released on PC a little while ago, this has the premise of trying to gather supplies in 60 seconds before surviving for a long time in the fallout shelter. It seems to have some rather dark humour (unsurprisingly) and could certainly be a rather intriguing title on the system.
Are any of these getting downloaded to your Switch today?

Already bought Enter the Gungeon and Floor Kids from the American eShop. Still unsure about 60 Seconds!
As a huge fan of Binding of Isaac, I feel I should give Enter the Gungeon a go.
Super interested in 60 seconds! It looks awesome!
@Moon I personally think it's a lot more appealing than Binding of Isaac. I never liked Isaac much, it's a really distasteful game IMO.
I'll pick up 60 Seconds when I can. I forgot who I watched, I think it was Markiplier. It seemed pretty cool, and a bit morbid. I want to see if there's a not so bad ending for the family.
@SimplyCinnamon53 Yeah 60 Seconds definitely seems pretty interesting. It's kind of a Indie Fallout type of game, definitely need a review for that one.
Picking up Floor Kids! Watch this break-dancing space!
60 seconds has grabbed my attention, but will wait for a review
I seriously can't keep up with all these games. And I'm a Nintendolife reading nerd.
60 seconds looks interesting.
Good luck ted
Cool. I’m waiting on VS SMB, however. All these little games add up. This guy needs folders.
did not expect 60 seconds to intrigue me this much. I have enter the gungeon but I have yet to play it. Xenoblade has been a huge time sink with Zelda next. I can officially say I cannot keep up with the releases of switch games.
Played one round of Enter the Gungeon to try it out. I'll wait couple of days before I really start playing it. I'm spending two weeks with my family and I want to play co-op with my sister. I don't want to be way better than her.
I'm also interested in Floor Kids but I've already made my decision to buy Crawl which comes out tomorrow. Sure, it is a dungeon crawler roquelike game like Gungeon but aside from that, it's very different. And it supports more players so I can ask my brother to play with us as well. I have just enough money on my eShop account after buying other games from festive offers. I'll pick up Floor Kids once I need a single player experience. (I'm not really a fan of multiplayer in rhythm games.)
Enter the Gungeon is pretty much a must play for me at this point, I am thinking it will be one of the Christmas presents I ask for along with a few other games on the E-shop. It just looks so fun, if binding of Isaac wasn't so expensive I would already have that one, but when comparing 40 bucks to 15 bucks there really is only one I could choose.
Gungeon and Floor Kids will be mine!
Just a heads up - Enter the Gungeon is about £4.50 on the Russian e-shop.
Just got dig, rocket league and kingdoms on the sale so should keep me quiet!
Will get gungeon at some point.
How are the controls for ETG? Can you use just one button to fire and use the d-pad or joystick for directions to move/aim?
@Scottie Right joystick to aim, right top trigger to shoot. Left joystick to move.
@JayJ I kinda see where you're coming from. Binding of Isaac has poo and blood and stuff, which are admittedly a bit gross. It also has some religious overtones, which could be considered distasteful, I guess!
To me though, it ultimately comes down to it being a fantastic game. Isaac is a masterpiece, and is endlessly fun to me. I just bought EtG, so I'm hoping it's as good!
@Moon Yeah I can't knock it for the way it plays. Technically a good game, great even, but definitely not a theme that I personally enjoy.
I have the steam version of gungeon but it's such a good game for quick runs that I'm tempted by the switch port too
We also got Brawlout in the Japanese eShop! That's awesome since it's a game I really want to try... though after finishing The Champion's Ballad and returning to Skyrim, now I'm not playing anything else right now.
Hi everyone,
How about co-op in Gungeon ? Can i split joycons, is it impossible to play with one joycon or just make it harder but manageable?
Floor Kids and 60 Seconds! are both amazing. 10/10
@Megal0maniac Thanks for the reply. Not sure I like the sound of those control options. Are they easy to use/play? Shame you can't move/aim with one joystick only.
