Darksiders was a brilliant franchise,though I echo other comments,releasing darksiders 2 but not darksiders 1 wont have won over many nintendo only fans. Hope darksiders 3 comes out. What would be a great move by nordic games I think would be to rerelease d1 and 2 in a repackaged pack for wii u. Id pay full price for that...but who am I kidding

Im not going to defend the gamepad against the usual crowd of haters on here (you know who you are),you have your opinion and its one shared by more than a few people. I will say however that I dont think these people will EVER be pleased with anything nintendo do. Seriously when the next gen comes around and you have xbox,just a super powered pc with enhanced social features over xbox one. Playstation,just a super powered pc with enhanced social features over ps4. And nintendos next system with-yes you guessed it-just a super powered pc with enhanced social features over the wii u. Then im sure all the haters will be up in arms that the new gen offers no inovation or diferences and tha. Gaming has "died". You'd probably be right but guess what? IT WOULD BE YOUR FAULT.

Oh nintendo, I hate to sound unthankful for a new metroid (metroid prime 4 would make me squee with delight) but...but...but no f zero? Even an f zero gx hd? Please? Its 2010 since the last metroid,but its 2004 (!!!) since the last f zero!

This constant nit picking of the gamepad is getting so tiresome. When are people going to understand the point of the gamepad is CHOICE, not inovation. You CAN use the gamepad in inovative ways,but having it as a simple pad with simple (but brilliant) uses like having a hud or map is also great. You have a CHOICE to play off tv if you'd like. You have a CHOICE to use the system as a tv remote or touchscreen interface for services like netflix or the web browser. You have a CHOICE,but if you prefer you can just have it as a very comfy pad,or neglet the gamepad altogether and use the pro controller.

Choice,not inovation. And I love the gamepad for all the choices it gives me,end of.

I reckon the reason is bayo 1 is coming to e shop earlier (at a cheap price I hope) as a seperate download

@ejamer Yeah I knew this would be a 2015 game. Even last year I knew that,not sure why people thought it would be this year.
No nintendo are taking the perfect strategy methinks. Plenty to play on the system with smash been predominently THE game this year. And then we have this e3 with loads of games coming 2015 to show anyone wondering about wii u's future that it is not only here to stay but here to deliver some of this gens best experiences.

Best 30 second trailer ever. Thats no sarcastic remark either,i mean it! Seeing the new link,new combat, INCREDIBLE ART DIRECTION. So so hyped for this. If nothing comes out for wii u but this game id still be happy I bought a wii u. Honorable mention must go to Splatoon too. One game for xbone that looks amazing is sunset overdrive. And Splatoon looks similar but with that ninty magic thrown in. Awesome e3 from all 3 companies so far

@Einherjar Hmmm I see your point mate but it honestly isnt that much of a benefit and is quite awkward to use,at least in my experience! No im perfectlx happy with my Baby Luigi and yoshi bike combo,which aparently cant use fire hopping and its won me a fair few matchs!

Okay yeah I see what you mean combo's werent in the manual as they werent meant to be used. But again if its a skill that can be utilised that dosnt give an unfair advantage to people using said skill (not being able to pull the skill off does not class as an unfair advantage to the oposition)then I say fair game.
Plus, have you tried fire hopping? Its actually quite hard to do and im veering off into a wall more than extending my boost!

@Einherjar How does proving that a technique used(whether in the manual or not) that benefits the enjoyment of the game and widens the skills that can be used in a game make my comment regarding skills used in mariokart backfire? Quite the oposite,it proves my point

For the life of me I dont understand peoples problem with this. It would be like people banning f1 drivers who snake along the track to heat up their tires quicker (gives them better grip) Or ban high jumpers for using that funny run and backwards jump technique because it allows them to jump higher. Bringing it back to games it would be like capcom banning a street fighter player who has found a new combo. While we are at it lets ban bikes because they require a diferent technique. Lets ban drifting because some people struggle to do it. Infact lets ban any mariokart track that people cant do. Lets make all tracks a straight where the only technique is how quick you press accelorate. Oh! The turbo start,ban that people struggle with that!

Look a technique is diferent to an exploit. Found a part of track where you can go offroad but maintain full speed? Patch it. Found a TECHNIQUE THAT EVERYONE WITH SKILL can use? Dont patch it

@Einherjar The manual dosnt tell you about the many combo's and techniques present in streetfighter. Should they patch that too?

Hmmm a 666 % increase probably means around 15-20k systems sold. Not that great a numbe but a step in the right direction. I think now (right now) would be a perfect time to readvertise the games already out for wiiu. Walking into your local game store to see a single shelf with mario kart 8, mario 3d world and loads of shovelware dosnt promote how many gems are now available on the struggling system.
Mario U, mario 3d world, pikmin 3, mario kart 8, zelda wind waker, game and wario, nintendoland, w101, ac 4, batman origins and city, lego city, monsterhunter 3, wii fit u, wii sports u. And im sure loads more. If all game shelfs are guna show is the mario games then the general public will ofcourse think thats all wiiu has to offer,which is not true. There are more truly classic games for wiiu now than there is for the ps4. Nintendo should advertise that fact

@Blue-Thunder Havnt played dd for ages! And it was my fave mario kart,mario kart wii and 7 just felt too clinical too clean. But this game,just like dd is FULL of charm atmosphere and that certain je ne ce quos that you cant put your finger on but love it all the same! Mario kart is all about the multiplayer though mate. Think of single player as a tutorial for all the multiplayer matchs. I cant say mk 8 is better than dd as I havnt played dd for so long,but I do remember feeling just as amazed with dd as I am right now with 8

My best praise for this game? I bought watch dogs for the ps4 on tuesday, believe me when I say it'll be an amazing wii u game. The game seemed mediocre at first. Then all the detail of the city and the hacking,the online invasions,the surprisingly awesome story,and damn the beauty of the game(most realistic weather affecting environment ive ever seen in a game) came through and I was hooked...And ive not even so much as glanced at the game case since the delivery guy gave me a big package with mario kart 8 limited edition inside! Thats how good mario kart 8 is. In my opinion it beats this years most anticipated game

@ToniK While the gamecube games should be cheap enough (7-10 euros in a perfect world) I would expect them to be expensive. Thing is,people would pay it. Heck for timeless classics like mario sunshine, f zero gx and skies of arcadia id pay the same as a triple A title!

Nintendo should have sent the games earlier and its ONLY because we all complained that nintendo decided to upgrade our delivery method to 24 hours. If not we all would be waiting till tuesday I guarantee it. Wont be buying from them again.

@Crimson_Ridley When did they say they had it with the courior? Mine says its been on its way since 10:08. And it left the service centre which is around 9 miles away. I know the courior will have other deliveries but im just trying to get a bead on when it will get here

My mk is reported to have left my local service centre at 10 so should be getting mine shortly,but im still unhappy with how vague everything has been. Im certain if people hadnt complained yesterday we would be waiting till next week to get the game. And when 3rd parties offer a quicker delivery than nintendo themselves,thats pretty shocking

@Kirk Dude at this point your arguing semantics. If you wish to play multiplayer on ANY system you would need to buy an extra controller. Thats where the pro controller comes in. Every other thing you mentioned here uses the gamepad
