Gyms are a key part of the whole Pokémon GO experience, but you often have to spend hours or amass a giant group to effectively defend any one you may be a part of. Well, not any more!
By following the strategy detailed in the video above - props to The Silph Road for discovering this - you too can make a gym level ten in as little as fifteen minutes should you have the right number of chums with you, so make sure you give it a watch.

As funny as it is. I determined this strategy about a month ago. Not that I'm deeply invested into Pokemon Go like the guys at the Silph Road or anything like that. I also didn't put any effort into proving it either. That would require more of my Mystic friends to actually do work.
Love the fact that the 3rd guy was holding a Gamepad
The real problem i have with the bubble strat is that other people can see what's in the gym. Therefor, while you may be boosting it at a rapid pace, someone can just come along and knock prestige off the gym faster then you can boost it, this also causes bugs, error messages and takes way too damn long.
Personally, i prefer putting in a fire pokemon with high enough cp, going in with a water pokemon with lower cp, since water types are so broken in the game, to prestige the gym.
Then, since you're building a level 10 gym, you're obviously not alone, get a friend from an opposing team to knock out the first pokemon, then run, thus booting out the fire type in the first spot, and leaving the gym at an easily boostable 49500 prestige.
Voilà, a strong level 10 gym without unnecessarily drawing attention to it and wasting time.
Yeah I tear through a gym like this in 5mins every day on my way to work just to get my daily reward from the shop... there's no real point in doing much more at the moment as there are (ironically) too many people playing.
The worst are the morons who sit on a gym and continuously place their weak as anything Pokemon on it as soon as you neutralise it and then boast about being 'too good'... I just laugh at them as they don't realise that they're basically giving me easy experience.
@UKFA I mentioned a workaround for the issue with someone taking the gym as you level it in the video.
The one time I did battle at a gym I got destroyed fairly quickly. I'm now a Pokemon Trainer Level 22 and could probably win a battle or two......but still have never revisited a gym since that one time.
Under an hour? I'll take that challenge. It'll probably take me 20 hours
I remember someone was doing that trick 2 1/2weeks ago with the gym across the street from my building. Keep laughing and taunting me and my friends trying to take it down from his car with his 3 (or more) accounts (lvl 9 Valor gym).
Long story short, no gym is invincible, I got a good amount of experience, and I haven't seen those usernames since
