We at Nintendo Life don't really take ourselves too seriously a lot of the time, so to further hammer this point home we've combined forces with the wonderful Arekkz Gaming to bring you a feature of a ludicrous nature.
In the above video we discuss various ideas that we want to see implemented into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, regardless of the fact that they'll probably never see the light of day. But if that's not enough delicious content to satiate your ravenous appetite for two people called Alex nattering away, we also have a more straightforward discussion about the game on Arekkz' channel below, so certainly be sure to check that out as well.
What's top of your wishlist for features in Breath of the Wild?

I wish the game would come out already.
With all the NX terror and worries, this game is what we really need right now to remind us that Nintendo does actually know what they're doing, sometimes...
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Might as well close the comments now.
Well maybe right after I say "voice acting".
My wishlist:
Sailing
Fishing
Flying
Densely populated world

Zelda naked
@rjejr It already has set a precedent in that regard. It's the first mainline Zelda game to have voice acting. While being blown away from the E3 trailer, I took a second or two to realise, holy crap we've broken some new ground.
"Open your eyes. Open your eyes. Wake up, Link!"
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Don't be silly. We had voice acting before!
WW Link: "Come on!!!"
@Lzeon If that's what counts then there's also.....
See? Zelda has had voice acting for 10+ years!
@Lzeon I want MORE!
it adds a great deal of immersion and to the experience when done properly.
I find Alex's voice so attractive 😩 so soothing and masculine at the same time.
1. Playable Tingle
2. Playable Shrek (and Goku)
3. Hyrule Real Estate mini-game that teaches people to actually understand statistics. (Seriously, nobody understands statistics.)
4. Soundtrack by Koji Kondo and Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth
5. One-to-one motion-controlled swordfighting, with an animation of Navi laughing at the player for those who still can't figure out the controls
6. An after-the-credits trailer for Metroid NX
Lots of Easter Eggs, references, and a ton of swords and shields and bows. Also would be cool if you could get a Loftwing. (Not going to happen)
I want to be stranded on a desert island, build a rocket ship out of coconuts and bamboo, only to have the launch ruined by my li'l buddy, Tingle. Eventually, I do launch and can go to different planetoids, SMG-style.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE "voice acting"
Has that been confirmed yet though? Maybe Anouma will decide at the last minute to take it out b/c he finds it distracting?

Honestly though, I didn't see, or hear, any voice acting in all the time I spent watching Zelda Treehouse at E3. (On screen, I wasn't there.) I can't even recall Link meeting anyone else, or any NPC. The whole thing came across as 2 days worth of physics tech demo to me, not a game.
There was this voice over, but if I dont' see the words coming out of somebody's mouth I don't consider it voice acting.

I would like to see some of the backstories from other games filled in rather than continue making new lore in the franchise.
@rjejr I can't disagree with you about anything thanks to your updated avatar. The man was a comical genius! I don't know do this generation realise his talent or even know who he was. I'd probably pick See No Evil, Hear No Evil as my favourite movie with Gene. And I'll drop this interesting fact here I only learned yesterday about him and his casting in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory:
In the early-1970s, when originally offered the lead role in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory by director Mel Stuart, the great Gene Wilder accepted on one condition:
"When I make my first entrance, I'd like to come out of the door carrying a cane and then walk toward the crowd with a limp. After the crowd sees Willy Wonka is a cripple, they all whisper to themselves and thethenn become deathly quiet. As I walk toward them, my cane sinks into one of the cobblestones I'm walking on and stands straight up, by itself; but I keep on walking, until I realize that I no longer have my cane. I start to fall forward, and just before I hit the ground, I do a beautiful forward somersault and bounce back up, to great applause."
Asked why, Wilder explained: "Because from that time on, no one will know if I'm lying or telling the truth."

Also, did you miss the Old Man or something?
I wish Breath of the Wild does away with Nintendo's lame Zelda timeline.
Maple from the Oracle games. What better game to have a character that shuffles your inventory?
I'd like to see Vaati (criminally underrated) and Shadow Link return and appear as mini bosses and probably classic dungeons items that were actually useful. would be cool if some areas needed traversing Wind Waker style.
That's an easy one: put the E3 demo up on the eshop so we can at least play some of it before Christmas. Or a mini-dungeon demo. Just something playable. Please?
The E3 demo going onto the eShop is out of the question. Hackers would data mine the whole thing and rip it to shreds. The whole game would be spoiled.
I want BotW to end with Majora's Mask being forged and hidden away, and for the Mask Salesmen to be wandering around in one form or another...
But a hundred tiny dungeons with puzzles would be okay, too.
@Utena-mobile What are you talking about?
@Dislikesfats lol. the video is kind of a tongue in cheek take on game mechanics that Alex and Arrekz would like to see, but most likely won't. And since other people started adding their own wishlist, I decided to add my own too. I'm not a fan of the timeline the way it exists today and feel like it restricts Nintendo more than helps.
But don't you worry, you ol worrier, you. The odds of my wish coming true are only slightly better than seeing Zelda naked, as someone above has already mentioned.
Also, I love Alex's voice. He should do more videos.
@Utena-mobile Nah, dude. I read your comment about 5 times and still didn't understand what you were trying to say. Didn't get much sleep.
The game is shaping up great. In fact, it looks like it'll have as much of an impact like OOT did back in late 90s. I can't believe it's still a year away. Good thing I have other Zelda's to play in anticipation of this one.
@Dislikesfats
dude? ... eh. ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy "Also, did you miss the Old Man or something?
So, I know this is about 6 weeks later, but I've watched several videos of the old man in Zelda BotW but I can't hear him speaking in any of them. That doesn't mean he isn't, lots of noise, but I tried really hard and coudln't hear anything sounding like a voice coming of of the game. So I won't trouble you w/ a link, but have you heard him talk, w/ an actual voice, not the usual Nintendo Okami gibberish? Thanks.
