Legends didn't sell enough? I wonder if the delay had anything to do with it, Ubisoft.

They're hardly cryptic. Although, I do want them to make Ruby and Sapphire remakes, partly because they were my favourite games in the series, but mostly so all of these annoying posters in the comment sections will stop begging for it on every Pokémon article. It's almost as annoying as the Square Enix fans begging for Kingdom Hearts 3 pre-E3.

When is the review coming? I'd really like to see some impressions before I get it on Friday.

There are benefits to portability, sure, but that doesn't make this any less disappointing to hear. They could at least remake the six adventures for a home consoles. The games on handheld devices are great, but the games could be expanded so much further on the Wii U.

C'mon Nintendo, sue these idiots for misuse and put them out of business. Get real jobs, and stop complaining about a game where magnets KO ice cream cones.

Price has never really bugged me until recently. In the case of the 3DS XL, it's fairly priced, I just can't afford one right now with the games I want. That's fair. However, when we come to things like Wind Waker HD, why in the world should I have to pay £45 for it? I could easily buy it, but why exactly is it £10 more than the average Wii U game?

@redsoul91 Not gonna lie, I have no clue how he'd work as a playable character, and there are quite a lot of characters that I want more, but I like the idea. I'd take Pac-Man over Snake any day.

Mario vs. Sonic vs. Mega Man vs. Pac-Man would just be my childhood rolled into one game. There's not a lot of third party characters that deserve to be represented, but I think Pac-Man is one of them. I think Namco deserve at least one character for helping with the game, and no character makes more sense than their mascot.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the look of this? In its current state, it looks like a bargain bin purchase at best.

It's actually quite disappointing to read some of the comments here, shunning this game just because Retro chose Donkey Kong. Metroid isn't going anywhere, and Nintendo are aware of the demand for it so there's a big chance we'll get a Metroid game for the Wii U eventually. We don't need every single IP to get a game immediately. There's still a long time to receive an F-Zero, Star Fox, Wave Race, 1080, and/or Metroid game in this generation.

I know I'd much rather have a Metroid game once developers have more experience with the console, so the game can be as good as possible. If they're not ready to make one, they shouldn't force it just to please people.

Life goes on. The game is a lot of fun without it. I don't feel anywhere near as cheated about buying this than I do about buying Chasing Aurora.

When Broken Rules refund me the £5.49 I wasted on that mess, I'll complain about this.

If you have such a good relationship with third party developers, where are the games?

Nintendo always have an amazing first party line up, so it's a shame that I always have to look elsewhere for third party support.

Who's surprised? I'm not!

Still, I'm not a big fan of DC, and I'm even less of a fan of NetherRealm, so I don't care. The two hours I spent with the game fixed its position as one of the most dull fighting games I've ever played.

Until they show a Wii U trailer, I won't be able to make a choice on which version to buy. I still can't decide whether PS4's performance or Wii U's Gamepad integration will be more important.

I'm gonna have to get this for Christmas. I'll go Torchic, Bulbasaur and Froakie.

Really glad that Torchic and the original three are available in this game, because not only is Torchic my favourite starter Pokémon, but the final evolutions for all three Kalos starters are pretty disappointing. Greninja is just the best of a bad situation.

Two springs is pretty cool. Mario vs. Sonic vs. Mega Man is awesome too. There's room for one more gaming icon...

Game looks amazing. I might actually preorder this.

And that music! I hope the soundtrack is mostly made up of jazz tracks.

That's actually a really good showing, considering how massive the first two games are over here, it was F1 2013's debut, and the fact that they're all multiplatform. Granted, there aren't many heavy hitting games below it, but it still looks like a positive for a country that has largely ignored the console.

Golf and Tennis. Really.

I suppose I'll just buy Final Fight.

$100,000 in a week? It's been done before, and with Mighty No.9 and Shantae out of the way, it doesn't have as much competition. Let's get this done!

Western or not, I just want to see Nintendo collaborate with other studios. They have so much IP just wasting away, and they obviously don't have enough internal staff to work on all of them, so they should let other studios have a shot. F-Zero, Star Fox, 1080 Snowboarding, Wave Race, Excitebike, Sheriff, Geist, etc. could be brought back with the help of another developer.

At the very least, every single VC game should be cross-buy, and should transfer to the successors of the Wii U and the 3DS for free. I would think that indie and retail games should be as well.

I want to get it, but I'm in no position to spend £45 on a game. I'll just get Lost World this month and wait for Wind Waker to drop in price.

I really like Ganbarion. Hopefully they can become close partners with Nintendo.

I've had this game for six weeks and I still haven't opened it. As soon as I 100% Rayman Legends, it's on.

@robertman2 Last true game was Nazo no Murasamejo in '86, but he had a cameo in Samurai Warriors 3 and a themed minigame in Nintendo Land, so Nintendo haven't completely forgotten about him. I have hope.

Plus, there were rumours of an East vs. West scenario, where Takamaru would represent the East, and Little Mac for the West.

However, my most wanted swordsman is Takamaru. That would make my hype meter skyrocket.

I was excited before the Direct, but this was one of the best trailers I've ever seen. Day one purchase. I'm certain this will be one of the best Mario games ever.
