@Link-Hero Fun fact, the original Japanese version is nicknamed "Japanese South Park" by the Japanese fandom due to the amount of satire and parody of other anime. All of that was taken away in the 4Kids version unfortunately.

What does this mean for Tekken's Marshall Law? Tekken does a faithful 1-to-1 recreation of his moves but he's also kind of a humorous character in the series.

Honestly quite disappointed that it's so similar to Splatoon 2, which itself was also similar to Splatoon 1. Three games in and so many assets are being reused. Here's hoping the story campaign can live up to Octo Expansion to remedy it.

KOF has lowkey some of the best character designs in the industry. Definitely going to pick this up.

I've only bought one game (a collector's edition) from them, took months to arrive and when it did they delivered it to the wrong address. Not surprised so see all the criticism.

This is gonna be a beast of an emulation device. Not only it will play GameCube and Wii via Dolphin with no problems, but it'll play Wii U with Cemu and might even play Switch games with Yuzu, though I doubt it'll run all Switch games very well.

The fact that the MGS franchise sold 900k last year despite not having a proper game in over 6 years shows how legendary it is.

Also, funny enough, you can play way more Metal Gear games on an Xbox console than PS4/PS5 since it's backwards compatible with MGS HD Collection.

There are only 7 Western games on this list: 1 is from a Japanese franchise (Super Donkey Kong aka DKC1), 1 takes place in Japan (Ghosts of Tsushima) and 1 is directly inspired by Japanese games (Undertale).

Most games are on Nintendo or Switch.

Sony are REALLY shooting themselves in the foot if they choose to abandon Japanese market.

Chrono Trigger is a great game, but it's not even the best Square Enix SNES RPG.

I'm pro-legalisation, but a lot of Westerners just don't understand how much East Asia is opposed to narcotics. It's not just Japan, but China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand etc all have the strictest drug laws in the world. It's a cultural thing that has existed ever since the Opium Wars and modern Western arguments for decriminalisation are completely irrelevant there, like it or not.
