@Gungeonite not sure if you got to DL the demo, but this game is GREATLY eased down to be accessibke to newcomers... trust me, I love fighting games, but ARC SYSTEM games DO have a tendency to have a HIGH learning curve...that is NOT the case with this game.. as a matter of fact, it's essentially a 2 button game with the 3rd acting as the EX version for attacks. EVERYBODY has a simple QCF/QCB motion for moves and all supers are done the same. There's a FEW advanced techniques, but nothing too difficult to learn!!

@Nincompoop if you find VR scary, then good... that means the developers did a successful job in portraying the horror they're trying to convey... To you, 3rd person horror may not be scary to you at all, or it might be AS scary.... to ME, I just feel tha 3rd person is scarier.. that's MY opinion. I don't speak for every person or gamer out there. Heck, some people don't find ANY horror games scary, VR, 1st person, 3rd person. Some people find all 3 to be equally scary... it's all based on how THEY perceive terror and how they choose to react to it. So, to end this, like I said... don't know why you're so caught up on why VR doesnt scare me and that I'm obviously "lying" about it....

@Nincompoop why are you so caught uo on what I should find scary or not? And to answer that question, the main factor on my fear isn't based on what I can or can't see, it's whether my actual life is in danger or not. So, if the monster is just there to be there, and not trying to attack or kill me, why would I be scared? So back to the argument of VR, 1st person, or 3rd person... I find 3rd person scary, not because what I see on the screen, but the fear of the fate of the character rests on my hands. But when playing in 1st person or VR, the horror they're trying to convey is to YOU, the player, experiencing it. For me, however, even if I'm "in" the game, the knowledge that I can't ACTUALLY get hurt in real life takes away the fear factor to me.

@Nincompoop I think you're just trolling me at this point. for what reason would I need to lie, or would someone think. was lying about it... I even said in a previous statement that being immersed in the game doesn't make it any more scary to me... same reason why I don't find haunted houses or horror movies scary... unless I'll somehow get hurt or killed in real life from it, the fear (for me) is taken out of the equation. And btw, VR IS 1st person... you're STILL looking at a screen (if even through a headset).

My bro in law doesnt understand my logic in why 1st person doesnt scare me, but for me, the fear comes in controlling the fate of the character... I dont want to BE the character or see thru their eyes, because if that's the case, the fear of me being harmed (in real life) is taken out.. same reason why i dont find haunted houses or horror movies scary... I'll still GO to them amd enjoy it, they just don't scare me (like a 3rd person horror game would).

Re: Nintendo Switch Will Up The Horror Ante When Layers Of Fear: Legacy Arrives 21st Feb

cant wait....i DID DL this on XBOX (wtf is an XBOX?) when it 1st came out but only played the 1st few mins. I put more time into my Switch, so I'll probably play this more (or in it's entirety). I hope it IS scary coz 1st person horror tends to not be scary (to me)...I much prefer over the shoulder, or heck, the old style horror such as Silent Hill, Res Evil, Fatal Frame!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed both entries, especially Transformed because the Air, Land, and Sea sequences were just so vastly different from each other, yet worked so well. Plus, each character truly felt unique. If it wasn't for the fact that Mario Kart turned out to be a better game, I'd still be playing it. Also, I think I stopped playing because it tended to crash a bit. Great game, otherwise.
