SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy looks like it's going to be a whole heap of fun when it lands on Nintendo Switch this Summer. To keep us interested until its launch on 7th September, the lovely folks over at NIS America have shared a new game trailer that shows off two new characters in the shape of Zarina and Sylvie Paula Paula. You mighty remember these hard-hitting ladies from their debut in 2016's King of Fighters XIV.
Zarina packs a powerful punch with her Chi Attacks, and is ready to defend the home of her toucan companion, Coco, from destruction. With a knack for dancing the samba, her rhythmic moves will knock out anyone who stands in her way.

Sylvie Paula Paula is described as a cute and quirky girl who comes from a secret society known as NESTS, which experimented on her to bring out her special abilities. Those googly eyes and that voice inside her head? Well, they're her friends, so don't mess with any of them, or Sylvie will give you quite a shock!
There's no doubt, this game is going to be completely bonkers. Have a watch of the trailer above and let us know if you plan to pick up SNK Heroines for your Switch later this year with a comment below.

And more sexist.
I don't quite like the looks of the 3D animations. Too jagged for a game of this generation that doesn't push the console too far anyway.
What's with the girl with the giant eyeballs in her hair? Crazy people, these Japanese...
The plot looks amazing. I love every aspect of the plot.
Ugh, why Sylvie out of others?😒
Fan Service the game.
It'll probably sell like hotcakes.
Mmmmmm.... cakes...
I look forward to the game. Looks good
The thing that throws me off, and those of us trying to analyze the silhouettes, Sylvie wasn't revealed in the expected spot (the character on the left with the skirt). So whoever's revealed there is now a total surprise!
@ThanosReXXX They took inspiration for Sylvie from the Japanese pop idol, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Think Lady Gaga, but weirder!
@SleepyOtus Says the person with a naked character in bed as an avatar
@SmaggTheSmug
Of course. Nudity is the best!
I wish the in-game models would appear closer to the drawings, shading technique wise. As it is, the final image becomes quite messy and hard to read.
@masterLEON Was just gonna ask if that's why she's called "Sylvie Paula Paula". Explains the eyes in her hair too!
I'm pretty sure this game is gonna be the guilty pleasure of a lot of Switch gamers:D
I would rather have Luong than these two to be honest. Still nice I suppose.
@masterLEON Aha, okay. Well, that just goes to show you, that you really can learn something new every day...
(I'm not gonna say it makes sense, though. Then again: neither do most of Lady Gaga's outfits... )
A round of applause for the marketing department.
Gross. I'd be ashamed to be seen playing this.
LOL
More Waifus added.
Now we need Angel to get another Latina in the roster.

(it's owned by Warner Music Japan, it's probably why it can't be embedded)
Extremely hype for this game. Looks like the fan-service fun I've been waiting for. Just needs some Fio and Eri.
@TonyCrispy I feel you on that.. I've played every KOF with the exception of 14 so I don't rre eally have any nostalgic attachment to her (or Zarina, for that matter. But I guess it's not a big deal so long as we get the characters we hope and expect, right? 😀
@Moroboshi876
Says the guy with Ataru as his icon . you just made me laugh at loud man
With the fighting line up on the switch improving I think ill pass on this. Not a fan of the marketing direction.
@Arminillo Lol. Actually I chose him as an avatar because I liked the name, but it's not my favorite manga character nor is Urusei Yatsura my favorite manga.
But we must admit that this game is all about fanservice of the sexist kind.
What in the... i find the animations and movesets really bad, nothing telegraphs the slightest it just happens and all those damn stars popping everywhere.
Fanservice or not, clean that mess up.
@masterLEON Can't be embedded?
You mean like this:
@ThanosReXXX Weird, I still get a grey box in Safari, but it opens in Chrome.
Oh look, another sexist anime style game about women being portrayed as sex objects.
I was going to call it Fan Service: The Game, then I remembered DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball still exists.
@JayJ
I know, I've already pre-ordered it too.
@masterLEON I only use Firefox. Never had a problem with it. I do have Chrome installed, but I don't even remember why. Probably for testing purposes...
Definitely a game concept worthy of support. Hopefully the beginning of a series. There are plenty of real life women who love presenting themselves as sex appeal/eye candy so I see no problem with a fantasy game with fictional characters based around that concept. No real women were harmed in the making of this game and I'm glad not every developer is catering to the puritan generation.
