@DorkusGunplakus This is a surprise! But it's a welcome one, wonder if this was the game teased in that project ignited thing that Seed Freedom was also re-announced under, or if that was the pachinko game and this re-master was a coincidence

@Maubari but Nintendo are evil because they shut down emulators and sold TOTK for 70 bucks! While yes their stance on emulation is a bit...backwards, is it really that bad compared to shutting down studios and mass layoffs of employees?

@PikminMarioKirby it would be a massive shooting yourself in the foot moment if it didn't, all of Nintendo's consoles starting with the Wii was backwards compatible with the previous console (Switch wasn't because of new format) and I doubt they want to do a "if you're backwards compatible, you're really backwards" moment

Since the game was first revealed in 2008, BGAE2 is sitting at around 15 years and counting of development time, while Duke Nukem Forever had 14 years

6 is a little low, wave 2 is a major improvement over the last. Waluigi pinball is, of course, the highlight (I personally think Mushroom Gorge is a highly overrated track) and graphically it's a slight improvement, the new course is a bit basic but it's far from terrible. I'd give this wave a 7.5 personally

I think the worst parts of the presentation was The Rock showing up and shamelessly plugging his energy drink and a trailer that came out the day prior, as well as the last of us segment that went on for way too long and only gave us concept art of a multiplayer mode turned the standalone game, a still from the show and confirmation of the remake which leaked before the presentation.

I'm hoping they'll use refined versions of the beta tracks that got uncovered a few years ago
