Re: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Is Only 20 To 30 Percent Complete

@BinaryFragger Welcome to Cynictendo life
Where the cynics and nintendoomers come to tell us that the switch will die in a months time,.....SINCE MARCH!

Nintendo is still top dog even in April, May may see a decline, it may not, as both Zelda and Mario kart plus minecraft switch are very strong price indicators.

In April Nintendo stole 1st and 2nd with the nes mini,

Meanwhile xbone hit new low with 4th place.

Re: RiME On Switch Will Run At 720p In Both Docked And Portable Modes

HSuzumiyaVI

@bilboa plus the API and OS are clearly getting patched right now, supporting the fact that unless you are using unreal engine 4 now, your game will have difficulties reaching the performance of the switch.

This is a time/development issue not a power issue as the switch is scalable between portable mode and tv mode.

Re: "No Plans" For Destiny 2 On Switch, Says Project Lead Who Loves Nintendo's Console

HSuzumiyaVI

@XYBUTTONS Apparently others Don't care, as For me, its Not an issue if destiny 2 skips the Nintendo switch, the one that does matter is Call of Duty ww2,
Destiny 2 came off the heels of a bare bones game (for a mmo, thats caustic)

Plus you must understand that nintendo's audience care not much of bungie,

You severly underestimate the value of your own diatribe however its nice to know that if this becomes a reoccurring trend it will affect the switch in some form but the switch lives and dies on nintendo's support alone and never forget that.

Re: Rumour: Vivendi To "Accelerate Expansion" In Video Games, Ubisoft The Main Target

HSuzumiyaVI

I read the article, the bollore group owns vivendi, a news corp wannabe, and havas a advertiser. VIVENDI owns canal+ a cable company like Foxtel, they also own 2 telcos Orange and one other, they almost got italiatel but the regulators stepped in, Vivendi manage Daily motion, a youtube alternative, Universal music and 67% of Gameloft, a mobile developer... Ubisoft is only the next victim in a long list of defunct games developers and publishers.
Sierra was killed after a merger with Activision Blizzard (only Activision, Blizzard and universal got under vivendis thumb.

Vivendi was loading up Activision Blizzard with debt to shift the debts off their ballance sheet, they have shown to be toxic to the games industry.

Re: Overwatch Director "Loving" Nintendo Switch But Admits Porting Game Would Be A Challenge

@Bliquid https://www.geek.com/tech/overwatch-has-been-cloned-and-ported-to-mobile-in-china-1658148/

Thats right, Chinese devs got overwatch working on Android phones

Plus "Underpowered " actually means lazy and unoptimized coding.

And to further prove the overwatch dev is ignorant

This is a prototype of overwatch as a tech demo

Re: Don't Worry, The Rumble in Snake Pass Will Be Fixed Soon

HSuzumiyaVI

@Ralizah its an evolutionary stage, don't think that hd rumble or haptic feedback are perfected on the first go, it takes time and while the switch is sought after we have not begun the refinment phase,

Im sure Nintendo have a plan up their sleeve to up the production process... right now its supply constrained...

Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Responds to Criticism Over the Switch Launch Line-Up

HSuzumiyaVI

@impurekind I agree that 36 or 38 games at launch is absurd but given that we have come off the Wii U, I find the launch to be satisfactory if anything for now, you may dislike it's depth but when competing against Zelda 3rd party can kiss goodbye a chunk of estimated sales. This is why AAA games don't mess with COD, Pokemon or Battlefield, as these guarantee certain failure for other 3rd party.

Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Responds to Criticism Over the Switch Launch Line-Up

HSuzumiyaVI

@impurekind quit thinking that AAA exclusives were coming to the Nintendo switch after the disaster of the Wii u, plus 38 games at launch is excessive especially when "no-one gave a **** anyway" why do you think that it won't happen again? People are not walking ATMs, even I a big spender has admitted that I can only get so much... in a single month. Plus the curse of having strong IP at launch is that 3rd party have no hope competing against Nintendo especially if the ace is Zelda.

Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Responds to Criticism Over the Switch Launch Line-Up

HSuzumiyaVI

@impurekind your idea of playing the long game is asking too much, and you ignored my comments on this matter, 36 games on the Wii u, no one bought them to even matter, each game is 60 and that limits Switch attachment rate, you ignored my comments about not blowing the load plus you fail to understand the switch price point, they have room to move but as it stands this is optimal profit per Switch. You may think your opinion matters more than mine but I'm being real here, Wii u had one of the largest launch in Nintendo history but with no outstanding titles it was over.
