Re: Nintendo Share Price Falls to Lowest Point in Over a Year as Global Markets React to 'Brexit'

HSuzumiyaVI

@remag I'm sorry, we cant do that, there is a thing called the "global marketplace" and no matter how isolationist your countries policies will be, there is no denying that what you did impacted the ASX in my country...
saying otherwise is blind and niave at this point... we are all connected... if the pound drops, so to does the Australian dollar, I'm sorry if your ignorance with my country prevented you from seeing that what the brexit did sent economic shockwaves world wide and if I was to worry about my country in this regard, well done for crashing the ASX... bravo... you just made the Australian dollar more unstable.

Re: Nintendo Share Price Falls to Lowest Point in Over a Year as Global Markets React to 'Brexit'

HSuzumiyaVI

@remag I do find that example to be rather simplistic to the ramifications and the decades of rebuilding to replace what was once there in the 1970s...

I am aware of thatchernomics and other "free market profiteering" that pilfered your country dry... I am rather confused as to what this means for the Commonwealth i.e Australia.

but your example is shortsighted in the mass scale of immigration, you can build a wall 10 meteres high, place guard towers around it... but there would be suspicions of "control" on a mass scale to not just let people in but to not let them out.

naturally, a wall is unfeasible with the migration problem, but i'd like to suggest a total breakup of the UK as a possibility and an inevitability.

Scotland, Ireland and wales could decide to leave the UK and make England a country that would be easy to be invaded by Russia... likely Germany and France feel like the EU cannot sustain itself with its debt ridden books... but as they say
Currency war > Trade war > world war.

Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo 64

@Shy_Guy this system was what made me what I am today.... an avid gamer and Nintendo fangirl, and in 1998 Australian shores this arrived and Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon snap is what I got for my Christmas.

i'll never forget my N64 and I still have it to this day, and I know it wont die.... I just know...

Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo 64

HSuzumiyaVI

@BaffleBlend you do understand this was when Nintendo threw that thinking out the window, the Nintendo 64 was more powerful than the playstation, what actually got them was a lack of RPGs like the wii U, only Japan is swimming in wii U rpgs.

the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2.

little fact, the Sega Master system was stronger than the Nintendo Entertainment System, yes, times are tough, but this is a company that went from making playing cards to Sex hotels, Taxi services, TV channel and instant ramen. then after thw Disney contract they made the very first console (not home console with carts) it was a pong machine like Atari's and it won the first Generation of consoles with the color TV game.
during the 2nd gen, Microvision was released then in 1981 the Game and Watch was released and battered the microvision into the same abyss the Vectrex lives in.

some history on Nintendo's foray into console gamming.

Re: Trademark Listing Adds Fuel to Talk of Nintendo NX Using Cartridges

HSuzumiyaVI

@azelf if is using carts it using the same media format, the OS is to emulate and port NX games from handheld to home console and vice versa. like apple.

they are unifying the architecture, and if there is chips that blow the wii U out of the water then i'll believe Zelda breath of the wild on the go. this just sounds like a emulation layer, like PC low-medium to high.

Nintendo had trouble getting the 3DS and wii U to cooperate with each other and the merger of the two teams was so that when developing console handheld they all know the specifications, share the same format and can target the specs to handle ports of Console titles to handheld titles.

Re: Trademark Listing Adds Fuel to Talk of Nintendo NX Using Cartridges

HSuzumiyaVI

@Jolt yes, through the power of file compression.

think of this as a "card" rather than a cart...

essentially, 64 GB SD cards are cheaper than what they were during the lifecycle of the 3DS.
and don't forget that it costs less for a manufacturer to make it than to buy it off them, we call them "Wholesalers"
Macronix makes the chips for Nintendo, Nintendo give 3rd party a licence, reduced if on eshop...
the benefits of this is... no 2TB HDD (I'm fine with EXT) or a way to remove it like the PS4.
disc drives cost mad prices.
developers can code to the metal with Vulcan API (which Nintendo is apart of.)
no need to install from blu ray (think back to the patents)
no added fee of using Sony's proprietary format.

Re: Warner Bros. Is Committed To Supporting Nintendo NX

HSuzumiyaVI

@AlexSora89 i thought it was "cry like an anime fan on prom night"?

good to see the caped crusader back, enjoyed playing Arkham City armoured edition, I guess this is what Nintendo wanted the 2nd screen experience to be, display vitals while not breaking the flow of gameplay.

which Aonuma claimed was unavoidable with Breath of the wild.
so the gamepad feature is not on the NX...

Re: Nintendo Outlines Key Goals to Ensure NX Success

HSuzumiyaVI

@PlywoodStick but it does make sense for Nintendo to make a 4K console on similar specs to neo rather than Scorpio, not that they aren't thinking of just overclocking modified RX 480s to achieve upscaled 4K at 30fps (knowing Nintendo, they will target native 4k 60Fps with their artistic graphics rather than photorealism.) as was stated, if there's any company that can hit native 4k 60 consistently, its Nintendo...

the wii U hit native 1080p 60 with Bayonetta 2 and Super smash bros 4.
did you know the Zelda breath of the wild images by [email protected] were in 4K...

Nintendo's first 4K home entertainment console will deliver Nintendo content far beyond what they have ever made before.

Re: Nintendo Outlines Key Goals to Ensure NX Success

HSuzumiyaVI

@PlywoodStick if both neo and NX are using modified RX 480
they will be 5.6TF (with a 4TF gap) from 6TF which then can be overclocked over 1000mhz

both Neo and NX will have established install bases before Scorpio begins to sting the xbox one install base let alone the Neo or NX's

Re: Rumour: Someone Tried To Steal The Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Demo, And Failed

HSuzumiyaVI

@HappyMaskedGuy absolutely because there is no precedent set by the courts, judge made law will rule this as piracy and counterfeiting, while they don't steal the data perse, they do counterfeit it (making a copy) and the fact if someone leaked my own demo that I had no intention making publically accessable to any one but beta testers. i'd haul the hackers ass to court for counterfeiting works in development (which is trespass) a tort I can use to claim the hacker broke into my digital property without permission.

Re: Rumour: Someone Tried To Steal The Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Demo, And Failed

HSuzumiyaVI

@Benjelo it is theft, you don't steal prototypes of games and the e3 build is no exception, they breached Nintendo's own units and attempted to dump data not meant to be represented in the final product... like Valve found out... so to does Nintendo care a lot about hackers breaking into their property (this is their property even to the modding community, the demo is not on the eshop, secondly, the game has not even come out yet and people do not wish to be spoiled.)
this is straight up theft and counterfeiting.

Re: Rumour: Someone Tried To Steal The Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Demo, And Failed

HSuzumiyaVI

@happylittlepigs you watched it too? Etika, Etika I respect him but this IS THEFT...
they
Cracked a wii U owned by Nintendo
attempted to dump a game, in development (this is why I use paper books for my story writing and games.) it is Nintnedo's property, they are not sharing the game because they feel the e3 build is to get players used to an open world Zelda.

day one, they were using a sd card to dump the demo
when they tried again, they failed... Bill of NOA was alerted Dedsec was hacking their wii U's.

as a modder, I am disgusted with the livestream.

Re: Rumour: Someone Tried To Steal The Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Demo, And Failed

HSuzumiyaVI

@Gridatttack yes they can, they attempted to use a CAT device (SD card) to get a dump from the unit itself, the demo was 16GB big and proof a hacking plot happened : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRysnFfh0Gk

twitch streamer Etika was watching Day 1 of the treehouse and hackers including NWplayer123 was in the chat, a group calling themselves "Dedsec" were trying to dump the demo build... but they found out the demo units were different to the retail WII Us.
its 5 hours of pure cringe and evidence that hacking was happening on the showfloor.
