if Smash bros NX or Ultimate is released, then I can say with confidence, that will sell NX units by MILLIONS!!

just the idea of on the spot SMASH will be the Pokémon GO for the smash community...
hell if it is cheaper than a wii U, they will switch easy...

add the DLC characters and then release another Poll. Smashmania all over again and NX gets its audience.

ARM is easy to port to and its ARM64 not ARM32 (that is in your mobile...)
so coding will be easier over the wii U and Vita...

Nintendo will likely need PS4+ power in a handheld (had their been a home console WII U level power will suffice.)

third party like GTA wont and NEVER will sell a Nintendo console ONLY... (Final Fantasy might sell units of NX)

I stopped listening to these rumours when NVidia claimed they weren't releasing anything in the smartdevices...

what I didn't know is that Nintendo would get the handheld to be powered by tegra, hell, k1 or Tegra 3 was rumoured to be in the 3DS.

@aaronsullivan there is a plan to use this as a Trojan horse into the living room again, Nintendo likely isn't using the form factor and Reggie called it a platform, so multiple NX, or it is a hybrid and it'll play Project Sonic 1080p 60/30

the tegra is PASCAL based, so its likely X2 or a 16NM variant...
these chips are powerful, and battery efficient.

this was posted about 2 days after the Semiaccurate Paid subscription fiasco with NVidia gaining a win with Nintendo.

well this lost article claims the "NVIDIA Tegra processor" EG thought was an X1 is infact "PASCAL BASED" in fact, ArcadeGirl64 (Emily Rogers) is seen tweeting with a user that claims Pascal Tegra.

so all those who like POWER!! and efficiency the chips are State of the art just might not be X2 but likely a variant... considering this is 16NM.

@rjejr No, the NX version of BOTW wont have a interactive map like the wii U version would, but i suspect that if you pair the gamepad with it it might work.

its correct that the rumours are quite interesting but if EG did journalism, they would've included X2 which is even stronger than X1.

in fact, AMD likely didn't have a mobile Polaris out yet, but as we say, "There is more than meets the eye."

Emily Rodgers likely used info from prototype dev kits, likely Sega's is the fabled X2 processor... all the big 3rd party have dev kits that are stronger than X1
lets be honest, Project Sonic can not run on an X1.
