I don't get this Mario movie. Like, is it just an extended cut scene from a game? How do I even play this? If I can't play it why would I want to watch it?

My wife loves Puzzle Bobble, but knew it as Bust-A-Move. We love the ACA releases of the first two arcade games. This one though...if it's not as hard as the old ones there's little point to getting this game. The cuteness of this one has me worried it's going to be dumbed down.

I've not been a fan of the last two FE games (too much social simulator), this looks like I wont have to pet anyone and seems more battle focused. Goofy hair aside I got my eye on this one.

So Human Fall Flat must be one of your favorite games. Along with Wii Fit Plus. And all the other battle focused turn based games that have been coming out are for that dead and dying fan base huh? Maybe Fire Emblem had to die (by being pet to death by some weird fat American kids) so that these new games could fly.

@Thief Yeah for me it's a downward spiral into a relationship simulator. More sales doesn't mean it's a better game. They are just catering to an audience that likes to pet characters and make them have babies and sometimes have a fight.

@NCChris The games had a following before Awakenings. And Awakenings did most things right, but it was that emphasis on relationships that was mostly different. And it's gone that way since. So yeah it's more popular, sure. But that doesn't mean it's better. puts on a snooty hat and pushes nose up "logic logic logic logic logic"(mockingly)

The slow drip is really killing it for me. That said...Maple Treeway is an absolute banger. Excited to see what they've changed about it.

Wii U is my favorite Nintendo console to date. I'll give this a full watch after work. (Why couldn't they name it ANYTHING else?!?!?)

I do think it rather bold of the Pokemon Co. to embrace ass graphics in the modern era. Takes some balls.

@SpaceboyScreams Very well said up there. I love Horizons, but it keeps me wishing for things to be included in the game. Whereas with New Leaf I don't think I ever sat there wishing for other features (except one, no NES games...).

I have never been so disinterested in a set of starters. I think if I bought the game I would go Blue just cause that guy looks silly.

Such a good game. Sad to see of these comments. If you have to ask, yeah you missed out on a banger. It still kicks ass.

And also! It's not a notch down from the last release, it's just a different set of games that appeal to a different group. I wasn't into the first volume since I'm not a Metal Slug fan or fighting game fan. Volume 2 was the banger in terms of games collected. This one is the better of the two...so far.

Alright, so for Neo Geo Cup '98, you failed to bring up the Story mode. It's such a fun game. With items to buy to increase the stats of your team over many seasons. To boil it down to "it's two buttons and you'll get bored" is really lame. It's like you didn't even play it at all other than "I gotta do this review so I'll spend ten minutes doing this game".

For anyone interested in this package it's ***** sweet! And the sports games aren't JUST two button affairs.

I mean, it's neat. Not $150 neat, but it's neat. If it helps you to make sense of how stupid that price is, I have the same watch in all black and it cost me $12 on Amazon.

I have tried it, it doesn't work. I tried it with Steam too, when that was announced. It also doesn't really work. My phone can connect to my NES controller, but it can't detect the d-pad on either of them. Same on Steam. So yeah, they can connect...but can you use them? No.

I think it's extremely overpriced for what it is. I won't do it again.

This is a game that I have zero interest in. Yet when I saw the title I was like "ooh sweet I bet that's another Kate Gray article" and read it. If that means anything to the Nintendolife editorial staff in charge of retaining talent.
