So another puzzle game on DSiware that is actually fun? Maybe it has something to do with the Nintendo charmn pouring into the game...

The Paintbrush nunchuck looks great but yeah the paintbrush is actually on your Wiimote so that doesn't make sense. The charger is something else and would even get bought just as a collector's piece to be displayed.

I enjoy this type of games and the more releases (and at budget prices) the better. Now, isn't there a DS version of this game? Anyone know the differences?

Great price and a lot of fun. Something to play between all the E3 crazy.

I shall enjoy New Play Control Pikmin in it's honor. Hopefully Nintendo releases New Play Control Pikmin 2 (and Chibi Robo!) before the end of the year.

Not a lot of function from this but for $2 and the nostalgia.. who knows?

@Kidpit: They'll release part 3 in september. I don't see the 3DS one (part 5) as a launch title and thus they can release part 4 in June- July 2011 before part 5 is available. Or they could just make part 4 a 3DS title as well.

Was looking forward to a Wii sequel but the "arm flapping" game in Resort made me wait a little longer. Now we get a 3DS game that will probably launch with the system? That would be just great. Who is the developer? Factor 5?

Either now a 3DS game or to be launched after E3 2011 as has been said. Either way we get a new Pikmin so all is good.

How much blood would I need to sell to get a 3DS and all the great titles for it?

One detail missing is how much HDD space the 3DS will have. I'm thinking 10 GB so you can save your games, have music and 3D movies or 3DSware games.

So the 3DS basically is a portable Wii 1.5 graphics wise?

See, I KNEW they would delay it to 2011. Still, that means more time to save for it.

Nintendo has the 3DS and Zelda along with several other exclusive games. They've already won E3.

When will we get the update to support the classic controller?

200 points is the proper price for the game. At 500 points one could feel ripped off but at 2 bucks we're good to go.

I just replayed the whole game at the end of 2009 since I own it on cartridge and it feels like one of the best N64 games. The fact that it was pretty much a launch title is even better.

If they do it as a 2.5D game they could have a winner.

Shadow of the Ninja is my purchase for the week so far. Might get another game or two depending on reviews. Anyone that bought Retro Game Challenge (not a lot it would seem since we won't get the sequel localized) should buy Shadow of the Ninja since it feels like the 3rd Ninja game on Retro Game Challenge (Haggle Man 3).

@slapshot82: Yes you can get Cave Story for free on the net but the extra modes, the new music and new graphics were created just for the Wiiware version which is great and the 1,200 points isn't that much really.

@ZarroTsu: Well, pricing would have to either fall on 200 or 500 (no in between on DSiware). For me releasing each game at 500 points would be worth it.

Own the cartridge and oh how much fun I had when it was released. Actually, I think the last time I played it was 5 years ago.

Ok, I own a 40" 1080p Samsung LCD and here's what I saw yesterday: I was browsing Nintendolife on my PS3 and after reading all the comments I clicked on the pic to see if there really was no difference... and there was a HUGE difference. When looked at in a monitor, the comparison pick doesn't show the changes. Clicking on the pic on a 40" LCD changes that since you can appreciate better color saturation, smoother edges, changes in the pixelation, etc. thanks to the bigger screen. Unless Nintendo releases something like this at E3 I'll be ordering a VDigi Upscaler soon.

@KanrakusPizza: Yep. If you shop around you might find a copy for $20-40 IF you find a copy since it's sold out everywhere.

I'll be getting it at launch. I bought the first two last march and had a blast. Now I'll get Frontier next month and part 3 later in the year.

And for 1,000 it shall be placed next to Nyxquest, Swords and Soldiers and both Lost Winds games as one of the best games available on Wiiware.

Well, those in Europe will get it for a smaller price. All the content for 500 points is just great. You'll be playing for weeks considering all the puzzles you can play.

Well, I've bought Lunar: Dragon Song, Contact, both DS Rune Factory games, imported Flower, Sun and Rain, both No More Heroes, Little King's Story and will get No More Heroes Paradise if released over here and have Arc Rise Fantasia preordered. I'm doing my best to support them. Hopefully they make a profit this fiscal year.

I'm very happy with my DSi and DSiware and don't see a single thing Nintendo could "learn from Apple". Games on an iPhone/iPod Touch are single screen, don't have a d-pad and buttons to aid in the control and most games look ugly on them.

For those that liked the Wiiware release, the DS original (which IS different from this just so you know) is only $9.99 at Gamestop and worth every penny.

There have always been "core" titles availbale for Wii going back to the launch of the console. It's just that people like to bitch about "no good games on Wii" to go with the flow.

Having a son by The Cure on disc opens the doors for more songs to be released on DLC, so they have my $50 already.

@KanrakusPizza: Castle of Magic was fun considering it was only 500 points and a nice change of pace after playing a lot of puzzle-like games on DSiware. But overall Gameloft's offerings haven't been great.

No music isn't a deal breaker since I love me some Picross. Good thing that the levels in this one are different from the retail game since I want to get both.

@ReZon: DSiware IS great. Go and download Chronos Twins, Robo Rescue, X-Scape, Mighty Flip Champs, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Viking Invasion, Fieldrunners, the Arty Style games, Dragon Quest Wars, DoDoGo!, Alphabounce, Lookley's Line Up and Link N' Launch. More games (Shantae for instance) are set for release in the near future.

If you can't find anything on DSiware for you then you're just being waay too picky...

For a free game it's great. Even at 200 points one could argue in favor of the purchase. Anything higher would have been a no.

And this is by WayForward! That at least means the animation and "vibe" of the game will be of the best quality.

It's 200 points so either it was going to exceed expectations or just go in the pile of "cheap but bad" games.

@opeter: I'm with buffalobob on this. I seem to recall reading we would get the SNES version which sorta makes sense considering it could be run as a VC game directly from the disc.

If you don't own any Sudoku games then this might be a good option. Otherwise the idea of "genre over saturation" could set into your head.

For me the game is a 7-8 and feels better than the HD versions.

Why no mention in the review of the Wii version including the ORIGINAL Prince of Persia game for free?

Because the iPad has sold 130 million units worldwide, right?
