Well, technology can always be shrunk as time goes on but yeah, I believe they'll take their time with a redesign. Maybe make it 3 years this time... unless sales go south FAST.
I've had a lot of fun with Epic Yarn but it does, at some points, feel like a non-kirby game (since it shares the Super Mario Bros 2 family tradition). Good to know a proper Kirby game will be out over here by next year.
For $8 I can relieve how I felt playing this in the arcade back in the day. Sure, 1943 is waaaaay better but the nostalgia factor is also higher on 1942.
Going from the name this one might focus on using Robo Eggs only. Loved the first one, have been playing the second one here and there and will be waiting for a trailer for the 3rd one.
Now we just need a price and release date for the game. Have to agree with Omega on the fact that the game shows the polish that the Art Style games have gotten us used to.
Mmm, will you be able to download ALL 365 puzzle to cartridge or is it more of a revolving "10 puzzles at a time" scenario? 365 puzzle would mean that a lot of in cartridge memory would have to be set aside for all of that content. Still, happy that one way or another this extra content is free. Great way to make people keep their game for an extra year!
@SuperMarioFan96: They stopped posting sales numbers because what's the use of selling that info to their clients if it was made available for free?
Also, NPD going with a "all SKU together" way of reporting info is basically so Wii and DS games aren't always in the top 10 since it gives the wrong impression to the hardcorezx.
I've had a blast with Epic Mickey. Played it for 4 hours last week and it brought a smile to my face whenever I entered a new section or a projector. My friends daughter (who is 3 years old) loved to watch me play and even helped me find some treasure chests and pointed out places I hadn't painted or thinned out for some of the quests.
Here's hoping for a sequel. Maybe they can work on one for the 3DS?
I loved Rabbids Go Home but since sales we not what Ubi expected we got another minigames round with Travel in Time. A 2D platformer for 3DS could be interesting.
@HugoSmits: So, how many points do I have to save for Flipper 2? I'll be getting the 3DS until December 2011-June 2012 so you have my attention so far.
We have to consider that this is with 3DS only games at the highest brightness setting and with 3D and volume sliders set to max. I usually play at night with my DSi in the lowest brightness and with volume set at 3 so I've got no problem with the 3DS.
Since it was 200 points I bought it the day after it released and, as sorta games, they were interesting. Playing them without any knowledge about their background and what Rohrer wanted to convey with each game made them even better. Congrats to Sabarasa on this new release and I hope that enough copies are sold so they can pursue more releases for indie games.
Now they'll definitely release a Zelda 25th anniversary disc as they did with SMB since Skyward Sword will probably be at retailers on november 2011. This also means no new hardware at E3 2011 since my bet is that Nintendo has a at least 2-4 games they could localize easily (Project Zero, Disaster Day of Crisis) as well as 3-5 new Wii games we don't know about and they'll focus 2011-2012 on the 3DS and let 3rd party publishers have their so desired "opportunity" to not compete with Nintendo on the Wii.
As a PAL release, you guys get screwed again with the frame rate/speed issues. As a US release, I gladly paid $30 for the packaging, soundtrack and booklet and the game disc is just the extra for me.
I picked up my CE on Sunday. The extras are worth the $20 over the price of the game itself. As for the game, I really, really like it. Sure the camera can do it's thing here and there but then again it's a problem we've been having to deal with going all the way back to the N64 so, what's the big deal?
@madgear: With the Virtual Console on Wii (and soon on 3DS) games have an indefinite shelf life and you can revive any game if the rights are sorted out. Emulation of games you don't own is stealing. Plain and simple.
Poor Brutus, he gets to review soooooo many crappy games that when the first good one comes along he runs to the finish line and barely stops before a 10 hehehe. Thanks for the review. I'll pick it up next week since I've got some games to finish on DSiware and Wiiware first.
Wow, really? That's a bit harsh. It's a $10 that's way better than Wii Play. You can enjoy it even more if playing with someone else and even a greater deal if playing with someone young.
For me it's a 7/10 sorta game. I even bought an extra copy for my godson since he's getting a Wii on christmas along with a full band kit of Guitar Hero: World Tour and an extra game and controller will help him get along with his sister without having to wrestle the Wiimote from each other's hands.
On the go you have a direct PC port and on Wiiware you have new graphics and music for 200 extra points. I already own it on Wiiware so I don't think I'll also buy it on DSiware.
It IS 200 points which could help it find a place in my collection but at the moment I've got all the puzzle games on DSiware I'll need, at least for a while.
@Arigner: Will all the great Wii games soon to be released what's the rush for having Nintendo's next console? The later it's released, the better specs and price they can have for us.

Wait until the numbers for this game in the US are released and see how the UK didn't respond to it as well as Japan and the Americas have/will.

Re: Dairojo! Samurai Defenders Attacks DSiWare on Monday
