Re: Review: Dauntless - A Monster Hunter Rival Which Suffers From Tech Issues On Switch

I got into monster Hunter in 4U, and I sunk a lot of time into that game. I've been trying to get into Generations Ultimate, but there are just SO MANY gathering quests and small monster quests (I'm one of those people that have to complete every mission). I kind of burnt out early on MHGU. Dauntless though has gotten me back into hunting! Sending me straight into the action along with simplified armor systems and overall less prep time needed between hunts is awesome to me. Perfect to scratch that hunting itch. I do plan on going back to MHGU at some point though. Nothing can replace my love for the incredibly fun and complex play-styles in that game.

@rjejr "Dont' put things on the eShop before they area announced, or announce them before putting them on the Shop, half your problems solved right there."
wat...I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. The sentences first half contradict the second half. Obviously, one must come before the other; either the announcement comes first or the release on the Eshop comes first. Is this a sarcastic way of saying there is no solution?

Re: The Flame in the Flood Has "Smashed" Its Launch Targets on the Switch eShop

@KryptoKrunch I don't think that's what @Agramonte is saying. He's not saying it wasn't a success, he's saying it was a success by the studio's standards. The problem is that we don't know what the studio's standards were, so this success story is reduced to simply being anecdotal.

Edit: maybe anecdotal is the wrong word, but I think it's understood what I'm trying to say

Re: Review: Gunslugs (3DS eShop)

@AlexSora89 I think the Shovel Knight - Ducktales comparison is a bit different than Gunslugs - Broforce. With the former, Shovel Knight changes and in ways improves upon Ducktales. While with the latter, Gunslugs feels like a downgrade compared to Broforce.

Re: Review: Metroid Prime: Blast Ball (3DS)

@3MonthBeef yes, that is the wrong way to interpret the given mechanics. Most of the time you should be predicting where the ball will be and using charged shots to move it in the direction you want. Rapid shots do next to nothing and you run out of charge quickly.

@XCWarrior Excuse me? Did you not read my comment? Do you think I'm going to waste money that I need to LIVE ON just to buy an TV and a $200 WiiU just to buy a game that I already have? If so, then that's foolish and perhaps you should go to your room and think about what you've said.

Hm, that's too bad. The trailer at e3...two or three years ago? Well anyway, the trailer really interested me at the time, and it looked like it had lots of potential. It's too bad it turned out this way. I'll most likely wait for a sale as well.
