I personally don't see Nintendo giving the Wii U a price cut, unless pikmin 3 doesn't drive sells. They really pissed off a lot of early adopter when they gave the 3ds a price cut, but they made up for it by giving out free games. Maybe they'll do the same thing again if there is a price cut?

I was actually hoping for a June release date for this, but you know that when Nintendo says,"coming this summer" they mean August in NOA. I'm so excited for this , but it looks like I'll be playing Luigi's Mansion dark moon and animal crossing new leaf to keep me busy over the summer. It would be cool if Nintendo released Flipnote Studio 3d in all regions in the same month.

I want to see green,gold, and silver Wii U's. if they released all three, I wouldn't know which one to get.

This is why you should wait a year or two after a console is released to get it.

As long as Nintendo has first party games, actually markets the Wii U, and a cheaper price point, I don't think they have to worry about Xbox One or PS4 this winter/year. If these console aren't expensive (which I doubt) then Nintendo is going to run into a problem.

I guess it's true that if you slap Nintendo on something, people will buy it (or in this case will want to theoretically buy it). The only thing that makes this different from an iPhone or Galaxy is that it has Nintendo features on it. The only thing that sells it for me, is the Wii U gamepad attachment.

I decided that I'm going to buy a Wii U this summer. This will be one of my last summers living at home before I go off to college, and what better way to spend it than playing video games with the fam. I'm also buying it, that way I can get wind waker when it comes out.

Maybe this article is a satire? Anyway, I love my 3ds, but I wouldn't necessarily call it the greatest console of all time. In fact, I don't think there has ever been a "greatest console". However I do think that the 3ds is the greatest handheld of this generation. In order for PS Vita to be it, it would have to get some games, and smartphones/tablets don't stand a chance.

I actually enjoy spyro and rachet and clank games. If they come out on the Wii U, then that would be great. I really don't care about fuse though.

I will be getting a Wii U probably this summer, because I'm excited for a few games that come out later this year. I may consider getting a PS4, but I will NOT be buying at launch. This generation of consoles overall is kind of ify :/

@UnseatingKDawg I never once denounced the validity of his comment. I did however say no one would read it, because when people see long comments like that (in general), they tend to shy away from them (I'm just removing myself from the chopping block, so to speak) . Of course, there will be people like @LDXD and yourself, who will actually take the time to read the longer comments on here.

At first, I was going to buy Pokémon Black in order to get ready for Pokémon X, but I decided against it because I want to be blown away by the new features in X (I haven't played Pokémon since Gameboy advance SP, so there are going to be a lot of surprises for me). All the games just became too similar for my likings, so I'm glad to see that the series is getting a well needed upgrade.

Tbh, I didn't even know this was in the game... Now it's time to have some fun with keyboard cat

They should release A link to the past on the 3ds eshop. I would buy it in a heart beat, because I really want to play it before I get the sequel.

Nintendo just basically handed over E3 to Sony and Microsoft. I hope they know what they are doing.

@PvtOttobot sorry to tell you, but that most likely won't be happening any time soon. They remade wind waker (which still isn't available atm) to be a buffer for the waiting time for a true Wii U Zelda. It's the same thing they did with the 3ds. They remade LoZOoT, and we didn't hear a single word about the new Zelda, exept that they are working on it, til recently; I think the same is going to be true for Wii U Zelda.

If this is true, then my head will EXPLODE from anger at Nintendo because, I want a new Zelda game made specifically with the 3ds in mind, and not a remake. Once the new Zelda is released, then I wouldn't mind them doing this game.

The Wii U is just an expensive paper weight, and until Nintendo and other companies start releasing innovative games that consumers actually want to buy, that's all it will ever be. I find myself on the fence about this generation of Nintendo consoles, and until they give me a reason to invest my money in them, I will not be purchasing a Wii U.

@Super-Mario-Fan Nintendo can't afford to run flipnote hatena, that's why there is a monthly fee for flipnote 3d. Nintendo wants to promote its newest handheld, so you and many others will just have to deal with it.

I knew it wouldn't be too long til we saw this in stores when they started playing the commercial for it.

I'm so glad that this is finally coming to the 3ds, but I'm not looking forward to having to pay to use the online feature. I'd rather just pay for this if it meant that the online service would be free.

@Bankai I really hate Patcher. Most of his predictions are wrong, so for the most part I pay him little to no attention, but his prediction about the Wii U has upheld itself so far. People don't want to hear doom and gloom for their favorite things.

@Darel Sony's prediction is only off by a year, so it's not like it makes a huge difference.

Before I make any predictions about the future of Nintendo, I want them to release titles that use the Wii U to its full potential. Nintendo could surprise the whole industry again, like they did with the Wii.

Wow so many comments... It seems so many people are getting their butts hurt by a few words that most likely wont amount to much. Have you guys seen this ad besides in this post, because I know I haven't, so it's not a big deal to me. I do believe Sony is seen as the jerk of the day by many Nintendo fans now.

People do this all the time on colors (watch out for pedo bear). It probably got removed because it wasn't artsy.

I still think that Nintendo is holding back something with the WiiU because to me, it's not all that mind blowing. Maybe at e3 Nintendo will drop a bomb that'll make everyone swoon to the WiiU...

I think big first party games will produce a lot of Wii U sales, but until then, the Wii U isn't going to be flying off the shelves :/

People are trying to justify the selling of only 320,000 Wii U s by saying that they don't like GameStop. That doesn't accumulate the whole Nintendo fan base, so I don't see how that is a valid reason.

The tablet doesn't look to have any innovative uses for it :/
