Who the hell is paying this guy for his half-baked opinions on things gaming related. If he believes that the WiiU is going to be the dreamcast, then he needs to stfu. Mario & Zelda will sell this console because those are the two titles everyone who owns something by nintendo likes. Isn't this the same guy who predicted doom and gloom for the 3ds?

Where's the kid Icarus demo? The game hasnt been made for 20 years, so how are younger players supposed to know about this series. If they were smart, they'd release a demo, but this is stubborn nintendo we're talking about :/

If the 3ds didn't have the fan base of the ds/ dsi / dsiXL, then it most likely would have sold like the first ds, which kind of makes me wonder about the name wii U ( will people who bought the wii buy it?). Good news for the 3ds btw. Now we just wait for the other 35 million+ people to upgrade

I think this color could be coming to America in September based on what nintendo has already done. The red 3ds was released in march 2011(I think, correct me if I'm wrong) in japan, which came to the states in September. So I'm just guessing the blue one might come at the same time too. If it doesn't , then it will most likely be released as a holiday bundle.

Me want, but I would be mad if they released a green 3DS with the upcoming Zelda game. Green is my favorite color, but they just had to lazy and use a cosmo black 3DS and put some gold on it, so I got red :/

No games for me... Nintendo will realize they made a horrible mistake when no one buys these games.

@Lobster That would be epic!!! but luckly there are old tekken games in an arcade for me, but if they utilize that idea, I could save all my quarters

@Shworange It uses both the stylus is used for drawing though and you can use your finger, because it's pressure sensitive.

I will not be buying either pokémon black 2 nor pokémon white 2. The games should have been on the 3ds and should have had a different title.

@drumsandperc92 That's exactly the same way I feel. So far, Reggie has lied to us on another topic... I miss the little flags that showed you what region everyone is from. It was nice to see all the nintendo fans, so without that, this site doesn't seem as popular

still waiting I think it'll come out anywhere from march-july. I would hate to have to wait any longer than that, unless they release it just in time for summer vacation.

The controller would be a flo tv as long as you have a Internet connect.... Sounds good to me. If this is true, then it's a good thing that I'm getting rid of AT&T and going back to comcast. If you have more than 4 tvs then don't get AT&T.... Trust me I'm saving you all the stress of fighting over who gets to watch tv because you can only use four boxes at a time, and if someone is recording somthing then your tv could be interupted

It is unknow if this will be the same information as the Japanese one. Knowing nintendo, Reggie will most likely not be delivering bigger news than than the Japanese one. I think this could possibly be about a name change for the wii u, because they said they would keep you informed up til e3, and this will be about the 3ds ( not so much about the wii if they announce a different name for the wii u).

@iroxyorsox cool name and no I'm not biased also way to go nintendo show all those fanboys who think that anything nintendo makes is going to fail. Nintendo is the king of handhelds and will never be beat. I like both nintendo and Sony (nintendo is my favorite though) but the one thing I can't stand is Sony fanboys.

I think it's safe to say that the vita Is dead in japan. We just have to wait til the 22nd to see if it's selling around the world and if it doesn't, then we can deem it as a failure. I'm not hating on the vita, I actually plan to get one, but I will wait to see how this plays out. I know there will be sales for the vita because fanboys will buy it when it comes out, but will that be enough? If the vita makes it to Christmas then I'm betting there will be a bundle with a 8gb memory card and a game included to try and boost sales.

So this is just the game boost in 3d, so if it's over $3 I won't buy this again.

@RedBlueSpot I was going to write the same thing, but you beat me to it and I was already aware that sonic and Mario were rivals and I'm 15. It used to be if you wanted Mario you go with nintendo and if you wanted sonic you go with sega which created this " war " on which console to buy.

@C-Olimar as an artist, I can safely say that purple and orange do not go together, unless you include the color green. Purple and yellow go together and orange and blue go together. * there are also other combinations you can make, but these are the most basic*

They should involve the pokédex app somehow, use ar games to fight the gym leader, there should be 3D pokemon for the 3Ds < enfices on the 3D, less pokemon to catch,Online trade,battle, and tournaments, use street pass and spot pass to battle against others who have pokemon, and they should let you customize your character ( change skin color, eye shape and color, hairstlye and color, ear shape, and clothing ) or let you use your mii

This is a fun game that isn't clearly represented in the 3ds demo. I had the 2008 Olympic games for my ds and it was loads of fun. They also have a lot of events to choose from, so if your new to this game, then you should try it out for a couple of days, and if you don't like it, you can always return it.

Perfect now I can get the red 3ds my sister can get blue and my other sister can get pink ( they were arguing over who would get blue because they both wanted that color, but one of my sister's favorite color is pink, so it all works out ) and we can be one big happy family playing Mario kart 7 together

I can see it now .... A boss where you see it's view point (1st person) on your t.v and your viewpoint on the controller. The boss is invisible, so you have to use both screen together to beat the temple.

I got this game with my special addition LOZ ds in 2007. I was 10 and I fell in love with Zelda games....5 years later.... I just started replaying this game and it made me question how much I even like this game just because you have to keep going back to that stupid Ocean temple... It makes the gameplay boring which is why I'm not even going to finish it ( I only made it to the part where you go to get the clue to the 3rd part of the map so you can get the sacred metals)

To all the people that put wii in the consoles name: if your calling it for example: wii dream, that would just put nintendo right back at square one. I think they are doing the right thing of getting away from the name wii, because the economy is really bad right now, so when casuals see it and don't know it's a whole new system they'll go " oh look it's a new controller for the Wii." That wouldn't make them want to buy it. They should give it an original name like Revolution, and all they would have to do is make a new wii sports or Wii fit game and it will sell like pancakes. Let's face it, those are the two games that almost every casual gamer owns and they most likely wouldn't see it as just another Wii. The Wii fit for the new console would be amazing because the controller will be able to analyze your body type better example: if your muscular it'll be able to see that and not that your over weight. Nintendo please get rid of the name Wii U, we don't want to see the 3ds sales for the first 6 months.

Well it's 7:55 am (I live in florida) soo we've still got 2 or 3 more hours of waiting before confirmation (which I think is likely), so horray!!! (I think, so don't take my word on it, it's just an estimation.)

Word of advice: if you buy this make sure that you remove the wiimotes after they finish charging because if you don't it will overcharge instead of not allowing it to stop charging when it is complete. I do not own this stand but can speak from owning a duracell and the batteries fried from me forgetting them there for two days.

I don't ever see my self picking up a first person shooter game that is based on the war ( I'm talking to you COD & MW3 ). The war is dumb, pointless, and each war fought creates a new one. Also when at war you don't get a second or more chances to live. Once you die it's over. Lastly, why can't they release a chart of the year only for nintendo...maybe now would be a good time to go view that Japanese chart. Back to the topic, for all those people who are die hard fans of these games should be given a gun and some armor so they can go into the war and see how they like it.

You can never satisfy everyone. There are people whining something. This is an optional ""piece of plastic" as some would say and you don't have to use it, and on top of all of that IT'S FREE!!! People should really start going by my moto: " If it's free, it's for me "

@LuigiSmash98 nintendo already relized the mistake they made when pricing the 3ds at $250, so they cut the price. I highly doubt they will sell the WiiU at $500 because no one will buy it, especially if the rumor that Microsoft and Sony will reveal their new consoles at e3 this year Is true (I think it's highly unlikely) and it would cause many people to hold off from buying the WiiU. Price has always been one of Nintendo's selling points, which is why their consoles sell so well ($169 nintendo 3ds and $40 for a game or $250 playstation vita and almost another $100 dollars for a memory card and game?) and with that being said I see the WiiU being anywhere from $250 to $350.
