I recently stumbled across a game called Hydroneer and jesus christ is it addicting. Janky as hell, but I'm having such a good time. Aside from that, I'll be continuing my Dark Souls Remastered playthrough on stream
Pretty busy weekend for me, but I just finished Shadow of Mordor last week, and am dying to get sunk into Shadow of War sometime over Easter Aside that, I'll be streaming Super Metroid
Finally been enjoying Shadow of Mordor. This is the third time I've tried to pick the game up, and having a blast this time around (Don't know why, but the game just didn't click with me the first two times). Aside from that, I plan to crack out some Super Metroid this evening whilst streaming
Got mine on Friday, and still have yet to take them out of their box. I adore XC3, so I'm kinda tempted to leave them sealed for a change (not to mention my shelf literally only has one Sora-shaped space left...)
Certainly the most effective demo i've ever played was Dragon Quest 11. Was so engrossed with the game, and as soon as I got to that cut-off point I was straight into that eShop
I've played a lot of games in my time, but I put Outer Wilds up there as one of the best (if not, THE best) examples of story-telling in the medium. One of those games that it pains you that you'll only ever get to play it for the first time once.
Not even ironically saying this: Bluey is hands-down the best children's TV show I've seen in my life. My two little girls love it, and it's written in that expert two-tiered way that hits differently for children and adults.
Just picked up No Man's Sky on switch the other day for my birthday, and having a thoroughly good time with it Will be playing a bit of that when I can this weekend.
So me and a bunch of other Xeno fans were keeping each other updated on the sub-Reddit about this yesterday. It seems that only those who were on the site within the first minute or two got their copies for the vast majority of the day. At about 8pm UK time, the site went live again, showing the CE as out of stock. However, if you refreshed at certain points, it became available again... for like 5 minutes. I was lucky, I got mine ordered at that point. But I did have several error messages in the process. It's showing on my MNS account and I got the email though, so I think I'm safe. But yeah, my heart bleeds for those who missed out. This was all-around a massive cluster :/
For me, it's Eledees (or Elebits, outside of the PAL region). When I got that game with my Wii as a kid, it charmed me in a big way. i played it through numerous times, made my own stages, got S ranks etc. But yeah, the game's a crude, janky mess that crawls at like 15fps whenever too much happens on the screen at times. I played it again recently, and still had a great time
Aside from the type-changing mechanic, I've not heard too many grumbles for this game so far. It's certainly leaving a better pre-release impression than S/S did. Probably not gonna pre-order this time, but I'm looking forward to seeing how these games do, nonetheless
For me, I first became aware of Metroid through Smash Bros on N64 (That game actually opened the floodgates for me, as I realized there was more to Nintendo than Mario, Zelda and Pokemon). It was actually my brother who got Metroid Fusion as a birthday present, so that was my first proper exposure to Metroid
Looks great! Added to my favourites
As a side note, you should check out ProJared's new "Now in the 90s" videos he uploads on Fridays, if this is your cup of tea. Really interesting videos, which detail obscure video game releases on that day 30 years ago
I have nothing but praise for the designs ive seen so far (not been delving into too many of the non-main character reveals for the freshest experience possible). This is my most anticipated game since BOTW. Friday can't come sooner!
100% would be down for Oracle remakes, even if they just recycle the LA remake assets and engine. I never got to play the originals, and feel they may be a bit dated for me at this point, so would love to see it
Got a bit more of NEO: The World Ends With You done this morning. Wanting to play a lot of RPGs this year on the run-up to Xenoblade 3, and really enjoying this one Will also be playing some Link to the Past Randomizer, mainly practicing the hovering glitch.
Im remaining cautiously optimistic with this game. Pokemon was a huge part of my life, but I ended up passing on the Gen 4 remakes and SwSh DLC. There's a lot I like the look of so far with Legends, and (as long as the gameplay holds up) I won't pass on it just becuase of the graphics or anything (even though I wholly agree they could be better). Will be one that I'm going to wait for reviews on first though.
Yooka 1 was decent, but definitely had it's rough edges (The final boss was particularly agregious). Impossible lair however, was awesome. Looking forward to what a sequel will look like, given the investment and feedback.
Finally getting round to playing Metroid 2 on 3DS recently (Riding that Dread hype train ). Also getting back into my Link to the Past Randomizer Speedrunning.

Re: Sonic Team On Remasters: "If There's A Title People Like, We'll Think About It"
Thinking back, I remember really having a good time with Sonic Rush on the DS. If they remade that game in HD, I'd possibly be interested

Definitely once of the most under-appreciated consoles in gaming history
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 18th)

Switch GOTY for me goes to XC3. Easily.
Re: Round Up: Everything Announced At The Game Awards 2022 - Every Game Reveal And Trailer
I don't call many games "Perfect", but Hades is one of those games. So yeah, Hades II cant come sooner.

Re: Feature: Nintendo eShop Selects - August 2022
Cult of the Lamb looks very compelling, but it's just simply a question of time (or lack thereof) when Xenoblade Chronicles 3 exists...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 3rd)
Mainly just been pushing on with Xenoblade 3, but also finished off a CrossDoors seed on Link to the Past Randomizer Really fun game mode

These are cool and all, but it's technically not Kanji on these designs. It's actually Katakana
