I don't want Bioware or Square anywhere near Zelda or a Mario RPG. Bioware has already proven themselves irrelevent with Sonic, and Square made that good old SMRPG travesty.
Intellegent Systems has been doing well, and should continue with their Mario RPGs. I'd place faith in Sega making an awesome F Zero game. Smash Bros. in the hands of Capcom and SNK would be cool, I doubt I'd despise the direction they'd take with it, like Sakurai's vision for Brawl
I prefer SSB battle system to Melee's simply because Melee is a lot harder to get great at, so even though I can beat all there is to do in Melee, there is still a huge amount of skill to gain (I don't even l-cancel consistently ) If I was awesome at Melee though I'd most definitely love it.
One paragraph actually explained the game a bit, while the rest was an explantation of the series origin and status, and then a silly rant on how this has less stuff than the sequels...
New Dragon Quest is Developed by Intelligent Systems is Going to be available on DSiWare for 500 points is very worrying
Enix and Intelligent Systems haven't let me down before, although then again since I won't get this they won't be letting me down if it is a poor game.
I rebeat it a few months ago using only slime family members, Spotking was too good. Shame it only has one save, I miss my full library current file has 146/215, I still have a decent number of gates left to beat, since I just took out Master Monster Tamer as soon as I was strong enough, then stopped playing.
but i think smash bros is really over rated, unfun, and pretty much sucks in every way. I really can't understand how someone can get so much time out of it!
G/S/C improved on it's predeccesor, R/S replaced good features with annoying ones, then D/P made it ugly and slow (I hear Platinum fixes the speed, and doesn't suck).
Deserved a 10 back in the day, a 9 being played on the Gameboy is fair, since this is fairly slow, with archaic menus. But with Pokemon Stadium speed enhancement it's just as awesome as ever.
@above This game isn't hard, it's the hardest Zelda, but it's still not hard. I don't see why you're directly linking difficulty with how much time it takes. It can be beaten faster than a lot of the other Zeldas. An alternate ending doesn't make this game special (nor are all the masks required for it), although it is amazing nonetheless.

I might get this one, the first Mystery Dungeon was awesome, only being edged out slightly by Emerald, and much better than D/P. Platinum is probably better, but I have Diamond, but not the 2nd Mystery Dungeon.
The graphics in this one look pretty bad because the size limit on WiiWare is really strict.
No the graphics look terrible because they are. Last I checked, not all Wiiware games looked terrible. They could've gone with 16-bit graphics and had them look great, and take up less space.
Videogame stories shouldn't be regarded as highly as literature simply because, literature is focused specifically on storytelling. The majority of great videogame stories don't compare to great literature, and why would they? Great stories can be written, but there are many other elements that must mesh with the story for the game to be good.
It's nice to see Nintendo is commited to releasing shovelware for the DSi, I guess since no one else has yet, Nintendo felt that they should remedy that.
As long as it gets good review scores I think it'll sell well, Onslaught has been doing great on WW, so there are a lot of FPS fans with a Wii. It's also got a fair amount of hype. (Although to be fair Mad World did too, on the flipside, I'm sure plenty of shallow gamers were put off by the art style, and then huge amounts put off by how violent it is.

Re: Review: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Super Nintendo)
I'd knock 4 points off this score personally.
I'd rather play Yoshi's Story, it's fun!
Re: Nintendo Download: Art, Cards and Crystals Have Gamers Seeing Spots (US)
Oh noez the highlight of the week is Square's money-grub-athon!
Re: Review: Smash Table Tennis (Virtual Console / NES)
I think way too much weight was put into the fact that this was released, rather than what it is...
Re: New Scribblenauts Screenshots
I'll definitely check this out when it arrives.
Re: Suda 51: I'd Love Travis Touchdown to Star in Smash Bros.
Final Smashes were terrible...
Re: Gold Nintendo World Championships Sells for $17,500
No the value of it will only increase.

Re: Brutal Legend Wii Cancelled
Sweet, I don't know anything about it, but the mention of Jack Black means it was probably destined to be terrible.

W00t! Dragon Quest!

Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
SMRPG had 5 characters, tis not a fighting game but still; masses of characters means squat.
Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
Poor review.

Super Mario Bros. is bare-boned too.
Re: Nintendo Fandom Downcast At Revelation That Miyamoto Is "Not God"
This articles worth is about on par with that terrible Nintendo characters stripping one...
Re: Review: Dragon Warrior Monsters (Game Boy)
Corbie you spelled 10 wrong
If you review the GBC version of Dragon Warrior 3 and you misspell 10 again, I shall fight you!
Joker was a lot of fun, 'course it didn't hold a candle to the original.

Like others have said it doesn't look much different than shovelware at a quick glance.
Re: NSFW: Zelda, Peach and Samus Shed Clothing In The Name Of Art

Re: Review: Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure! (WiiWare)
Seems Wiiware updates of classic games like to be uglier than they were before, not that they were ugly before, but they are now...

Re: Zelda: Spirit Tracks To Appeal To a Wider Age Group?
I'm with the people who are wondering how it could be dumbed down more than it already is.

I'd buy it even though I don't have any plans to play the game....

Okay, what do you dislike about it?
Re: Nintendo Download: Clocks, Calculators, Penguins and Towers (US)
Nintendo sucks now? Any objections?
Re: Pokémon Gold and Silver To Be Remade?
I'll most likely skip it. Since I don't have much of a reason not to assume that this'll pale in comparison to the original games.

Excessive recycled joke is still excessive.
Bounty Hunter mode sounds pretty sweet though.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time Remake Coming to XBLA, WiiWare
I'm with Brooks and Warioswoods, I'd rather have the original
Re: Sexy Poker Headed to WiiWare

I like the name Show Me Your Meadow, but I doubt the game will be too great though.

Re: Nintendo Download: Adventure Island, Crystal Defenders R1 & Real Football 2009 (EU)
WTF! Why do you get Adventure Island and Crystal Defenders this week and why do you still have Bubble Boble Plus and we don't?
Yeah why do you guys get iPhone downgrade and Ugly Game, and we don't have pretty good game?
Also how long until the updated games actually become available?

I haven't played Adventure Island, but I'll probably get an older version sometime rather than this (unless it's way better) since they aren't ugly.

Developers know about this before they release their games, so it's not really evil. Of course it's a terrible method of quality control.
