I prefered Tooie by a longshot even though the majority prefers Kazooie, but I'm still hoping they come out as they were both amazing, I'd get Kazooie because I already have Tooie.
Mega Man 9. Kirby Super Star Ultra. Disgaea DS. + DQ4 (which I bought like 2 days ago)
de Blob doesn't really appeal to me, I may get Wario Land but it's probably too short for me to get $50 worth, and Lego Batman is probably not too far off of Lego Starwars which I don't enjoy much.
I also enjoyed Joker but it had nothing on DWM for me, although it was crazy addicting for a little while ( 8 hours on day 1), I preffered the random dungeons to the islands, aswell as everyone having the same caps allowing every monster to be really great, and in Joker you don't get enough exp. ( parties of monsters in the final dungeon only give your party around 400exp). Oh and there were quite a few palette swaps ( original had maybe 6?). I miss Blizzardy, Ironturt, Kingleo, and Rainhawk.
@Twilight Crow I forgot about the whole MM9 supposed to come out Monday thing, but if it doesn't SB2 will probably take or come close to #1 and it still has the rest of the week to climb.
Hopefully Dragon Quest/Warrior games come out soon, the first 3 would be primed to come out as I doubt they're getting remade. Anyways the 4 remake supposedly came out today so I'll pick it up in a few days, anyone else getting it? Sidenote the GBC version of DQ3 is my fave straight-up RPG.
I might get Platinum, if it's not as pitifully slow as it's D/P brethren. I'm still not getting MPR, but I don't have some unwarrented hatred for it like some people.
@Mr. Cheez Geno is in that minigame where you tilt the plank back and forth causing items to fall into the pirahna plant's mouths, but he looks way diifferent from his SMRPG counterpart. ( haven't played it in over a year so I can't remember names of places and such) but thats why Squeenix is mentioned in the end credits.
Wow, after reading the review I thought it was going to get a 4.
@Corbie I thought your avatar was something DQ related at first glance, but I never got to play the 2nd one only the amazing 1st, and the quite fun Joker.
Oh I just checked on the data menus and saw that Soldier Blade is 27 blocks, but on the shop it did say 99 blocks as well as substracting 99 blocks when saying how many blocks I had
@classicmike The series really went downhill after 3 though: 4 got rid of the awesome items 3 and put in dumber ones, 5 switched items with those dumb capsules ( aswell as removing DK from the playable roster, while adding stupid choices like Boo), 6 I've only played once and don't remember at all so nothing to say about it, I absolutely hated 7 because there was so much dumb stuff and they bastardized the bonus stars ( instead of the reliable minigame, coin, and happening stars we get random ones) and there was a lot of luck based stuff, haven't played 8 much don't have a problem with it, Advance was an enjoyable simgle player game but wasn't a true party, and DS I enjoyed the minigames(could've been more variety though), but there a lot of luck at play, the items were nice enough though./end rant/
Anways I love number 2, the duel minigame of pirate land is awesome!
@Terranigma I have 1 and 3, but 2 is my favourite, because it was balanced unlike 1 ( you can gain coins from every game, instead of the occasional games where you were unable to gain coins only lose them in 1) also the minigame set was amazing keeping the best games from 1, but improving them and adding great new games, also I hated the few luck based games in 3 ( I HATE MERRY GO CHOMP!).
Well I wanted a comparison to SF64 as I loved everything about it, especially the Star Wolf battles as they are some of my favourite moments in gaming.
Oh BTW everyone it doesn't matter what you list people as because when the 2 people have each other registered it'll just display the players chosen name.
The channel said 99 when I went to download it and I went from 398 to 299.
Anyways I played for 21 minutes, got to the first boss in Operation 2 twice but got beat, then did the 2 and 5 minute modes one each. I must say I had a blast, and it could be the best VC experience I've had so far except for LoZ:OoT, so if the rest of the game is nearly as much fun as what I've had so far it's an easy 5 stars. Anyways thanks again for the suggestions.
@Tony Soldier Blade was 99 blocks but ironically the two other games with Blade in the title ( Blades of Steel and Super Thunder Blade) were 25 and 24 blocks
Edit: @ supermario Alright I'll post it in around an hour... I hope
Oh really the other Soldier games were around 100 each but if its only 25 I'll definately pick it up, and yes I found Lords really hard the first few hours, now it's managable for the most part, hope to beat it soon, but that's why I wanted to know what was easier because I'm a SHMUP newbie
Edit: Guess I'll go for Blade then, thanks for the help everyone!
Ya I wanted Parodier when it came out but saw it's size and decided to put it on hiatus, and the price doesn't really help to much as I only have 1900 points ( I think) and I'm strongly considering Sin and Punishment right now, so I don't have the points or space right now (I think I'm just shy of 400 blocks) So S&P and a Soldier game would pretty much top me up.
How hard is Soldier Blade? If you have Lords a comparison to it would be great.
I decided yesterday that I wanted to try one of the Star Soldier games ( or Blazing Lasers) and wanted to know what you guys recommended ( in a list instead of just your favourite, if you please), and also which games were easier as I'm not too good at shooters ( haven't beaten Lords of Thunder on normal difficulty yet, but I think I got really close, the 3rd form of the 8th level boss) so ya, I look forward to your input.
Ya, the slightly decreased difficulty does make it more accessable than games like Super Mario Bros 3's really hard world 8 (which I still haven't beaten, although I did 100% SMW)
@ Alpo Please stop the unnecessary language, if you don't want to be flamed, don't complain so much, and if you do get corrected don't freak out like you did as basically I'd assume most users would just laugh and shrug it off, while you lose your credibility as a poster.
@Mr. Cheez Yoshi's Story is NOT a poorly done platformer it's more of an above average platformer, with a cute (i.e. love it or hate it) aeshetic. BTW I added you and Badknux to Brawl
Personally shmups arn't really my genre ( but I did get and enjoy, but not yet beat, Lords of Thunder) and Cho Aniki's style isn't my thing so I'll pass

It got 1 from Destructoid
Re: Eternity's Child Delayed - Sequel Announced!
Sounds cool, I might get it
Re: Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie "Exclusively" on XBLA
I prefered Tooie by a longshot even though the majority prefers Kazooie, but I'm still hoping they come out as they were both amazing, I'd get Kazooie because I already have Tooie.
Anyways if neither come out I'll be sad.
Re: Helix Coming To Europe This Friday
Cool I think it'd be enjoyable congrats to those who wanted it.
Re: First Impressions: MadStone
Looks fun but I'm not really a puzzle fan. I'm thinking it'll get an 8
Re: Mega Man 9 Challenge List
Cool
Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land
I doubt they'd make us wait that long for their own gems.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Mega Man 9 and Plättchen
Nice.
@Paper92
I hear you bro, I have soccer so I don't get home until 5:30ish.
Re: Plättchen: Twist 'n' Paint Going Up Against Mega Man 9
I'm getting:
Mega Man 9.
Kirby Super Star Ultra.
Disgaea DS.
+
DQ4 (which I bought like 2 days ago)
de Blob doesn't really appeal to me, I may get Wario Land but it's probably too short for me to get $50 worth, and Lego Batman is probably not too far off of Lego Starwars which I don't enjoy much.
Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land
500 seems realistic as at this rate it'll be in a bit less than 2.5years, possibly longer than Chrono Trigger DS will be on store shelves
Re: Mega Man 9 Confirmed For US Release On Monday!
I loved 5 and 6 but I'm biased as those were the ones I owned as a child.
Re: Mega Man 9 Confirmed For US Release On Monday!
Proto Man sounds cool, but the bad thing is if I download him it'll leave me with only 400 (I'm pretty sure I have 1600 ATM...)
Re: Bomberman Blast Coming Soon To North America
IT will be a man-filled day (i.e. BomberMAN and MegaMAN) If this comes out this Monday, I'll probably get it...
Maybe on the VC side we'll get VectorMAN
Re: Mobile Phone RPG Coming To WiiWare

Re: Top 20 WiiWare Games in USA (17th Sept)
@ Jonny
I dunno Ep. 2 will probably get spot number 1 for a little while
Re: Capcom's Mega Man 9 Press Kit Goes Retro
@Objection_Blaster & Tony
Looks to me like another foe from the DQ series ( forget it's name though, I've only encountered it in DWM)

Yes, instant download.
Re: OFLC Update: Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse (NES)
Ya I'm highly anticipating OoE aswell as all the other good games coming soon like DQ4, Chrono Trigger, Kirby, probably missing some...
Re: Mega Man 2
Yay, we get this today! Good thing I got a points card yesterday.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land
Well Geno had an unobvious cameo in Superstar Saga, as well as being one of the most wanted characters for Brawl.

I'll add you

Re: EU WiiWare Update: Plättchen, Bomberman Blast, and Midnight Pool!
Sweet week for you guys! I'm guessing us in NA are going to get a 2 game week or two soon.
Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land
So anyone else suprised at all the Hudson support the VC has but we don't have Mario Party yet?
Also what are your thoughts on Sin and Punishment because I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it. A Starfox 64 comparison would be good.
Re: OFLC Update: Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse (NES)
I'll get it when it comes out.
Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier
Sorry Mike I went on for a few minutes then went to bed because I have school too. But 'll probably go on a few hours earlier today.
Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier

@TheWrightWay
But Ys music is way, way awesome

Oh no problem, have a good B-day though

Whoevers Tyler sorry about my blanking out before the fight I got a disk read error.
EDIT: After you left I managed to get into a fight with someone else, so I might be alright
Re: EU VC Releases: DoReMi Fantasy and Ys Book I & II
alright I'll add you too now mickeymac
Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land
@ Super Sonic
Ah nice job.
But getting the Yoshi coins is fun, and I think it was fairly difficult in some levels.
Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier
Off-topic but what's with all the Earthworm Jim mentions as of late, did I miss something, or is it more along the lines of wishful thinking?
Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier
Nice
Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land
Then get all the exits and yoshi coins, its a lot harder.

Auright its been fun
