@progx regret not buying a Steam product. My deck has Windows. It's ok to regret things. I definitely wouldn't do what you are planning on doing. And SteamOS is already out for other devices. You just might not know done things about the current situation.

I agree with the point GQ was making. The crunch, "impossible datelines" and release dates are just excuses for not doing better and allowing time for people to work, which is an entirely different point that GQ was making.

That's why games like Overwatch suck now.

I already have a Japanese 3DS, they are pretty cheap on second hand apps like Mercari. And you can still mod them easily to access other region games.
