For an American company, I'd say that's being too ambitious, but this is Japanese so I say all that is business as usual unless the product really fails to reach a global audience. I think I'll give it a go after I buy that mech brawler coming soon.

@Anthracks I understand that, but Cuphead is hardly even 5 years old right now. Having copies so soon after really seems like jumping the gun and it's like they're trying to take what made Cuphead so successful, and not add any of the effort and charm.

Games like Realm Royale and Paladins are similar to Fortnite and Overwatch in gameplay mechanics, but have differences in them that are significant enough to be their own things from the inspiration.

Like I said, I hope they add something to make it more original and give it its own identity, but still, it's clear that they just wanted to copy cup's success without going through the same rigorous process MDHR did.

Glad I'm not the only one who's jaded by this new game. You can't just copy cuphead's style, make it in flash, give a new coat of paint, and call it something else. There has to be more differences in the gameplay and world to give it its own identity. What's different here to hook the players in besides "Uh, they're human magicians"? These guys are just lookin to get sued!

The character designs are cute tho. Maybe I'll play it for that alone.

To me, not all freemium games are the same(Warframe, Paladins, Overwatch when it was still a free to play game) but then there's that Angry Bunnies game that's a mobile ripoff that's whole set up revolves around having to pay money, and that deserves to burn. It's only a problem to me if a paywall is the ONLY way to progress instead of just grinding.

Sounds like a heaping pile of llama feces! We should all know that anyone who works at Epic Games isn't nearly smart enough to concoct a plan that evil just to get kids' money. They saw Youtube videos of internet memes, and just put that in the game. That's it. It's what children love, and children are easily manipulated into liking flashy and colorful things. So of course, kids are going to become enticed with fortnite because it has all that. I will not say that they knew this would happen, but parents need to stop blaming games and Companies for their own faults at being cr@ppy parents.

Stop buying them V-bucks for stupid dances and skins, start monitoring their playtime and who they talk to and how they talk to them, and for God's sake, turn off the system, and go outside with your kids and talk to them! DON'T MAKE THIS THE DEVELOPERS' FAULTS!

I really don't get the hate for mobile games. If you avoid paying for everything or avoid impulse buying, it's pretty much an enjoyable experience. This is coming from someone who played Asphalt 8 and before his account was erased because of low storage space got a ton of cars just by winning more races. Just not as big a deal to me when it comes to free-to-play as long as its balanced. P2W crap is beyond redeemable if the bosses or challenges are impossible to beat without leveling up a ton or having a specific "cash only" car. Just my two cents.

@Dirty0814 Movies, video games, animation, music. Every form of entertainment has right now hit a brick wall in creativity and the only way I see some of these games or anything catching the interest of the people again is to make the art style very eye-catching and unique.

@Tasuki more like Tencent games decided to drop all support for the game on switch since very few people played it. Not a shock since to me it sucked.

Why does every action-adventure platformer have to be inspired by Zelda? This game seems too platformer focused to compare with Zelda, since this game looks like it plays similarly to old school PS2 platfomers. A better comparison so far would be ratchet and clank or Jak and Daxter in the hacking and slashing, hop and bop category, meanwhile the only thing Zelda inspired I can point out in all this is the time manipulation skill. I'm sure there's more to see soon, but it's really not that similar to Zelda in my eyes.

Honestly tho, I don't really see as much appeal to this game as others have. Like if you already play Goat Simulator, this is more less the same, but with a goose. I do praise it for its humor and art style, which I hope carries over to the next game they work on.

I doubt we've seen the last of this goose in videogames. It's the next Shovel Knight!

Oh boy! I'm so far halfway through with the first anime series, and I considered Yokai watch to be far more fun than Pokemon in that field, so trying out the first game is bound to be a blast! My favorites so far include Komasan and Fubuki-chan.

After playing the demo, I couldn't agree more.

The sprites really remind me of Scott Pilgrim the videogame, and since that's basically extinct without a publisher to give it a new home, this will have to fill the void. I'll pick this one up after I clear out some more unused games from my library.

Not everybody enjoys being mocked or teased for what they like. Some reviewers know how to treat their audience with a little dignity and respect while also being critical or finding actual value in a product as long as long as the people who worked on it put actual effort into it. It's called "empathy". Think about how the other person feels when they read those remarks and take it to heart. Do you think it's fine as long as it's not a game you are interested in?

And to answer your question, yes, It is because it hurts my feelings. Not many people like coming to a site to see a sarcastic review on a game that's main appeal was always lewd entertainment(me), and maybe those that do expect them to be mindful of the intended audience(Not me, but I still support the people who work on the games). Whenever they make reviews like this one, it mainly targets the main appeal and main audience and then asses like yourself use reviews like this to defend the idea that "Hentai games are disgusting and the people who play them are disgusting. They need to be banned." Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to poke fun at others who do. And if they can't do that, don't do it at all. But as you said, they aren't going to give a crap about my feelings or opinions on the subject, so I guess I will take my business elsewhere. Which again ties back to what I said before: NL is a bias site to games like these and they only make these reviews for the likes and clickbait because they just cherry pick their research with with rude comments on the fanbase.

On top of that, you haven't even played it to know if he's right or not. How do you know that there may not be some replay entertainment value in it considering you like porn and hentai and all? Why not do your own research instead?
