Re: "Strong Possibility" Of A Nintendo Broadcast Next Week, Suggests Industry Insider

@AtlanteanMan

The Switch is gold for Nintendo my friend, it´s gold. They are not moving away from it, they would be crazy. But they are being lazy right now and they will loose the momentum they had.

I hate it, but Nintendo has always been like this. It also makes them the greatest. They just do what they want and when they want to.... I love my Switch, it is my most beloved console ever (owned every Nintendo/Sega/Playstation/Atari/Xbox console) and that says a lot. But I do need a big Nintendo title, and not Pikmin 3 or remakes. I need a game as big like Zelda BoW or Mario Odyssey. BoW2 looks to be that, but it will take a while before it arrives. And it looks a bit to much like BoW, so I´m not sure if the game will blow me away like the first entry did.

@RareFan

Is that so? I don't, and I'm " people" too. You can't speak for everyone. The complaining about almost every game that releases these days is nothing new. The internet is filled with people that are not happy with games. TLoU part II, Zelda BotW, Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing NH ect.ect... If I believe everybody that complains on the internet, no game should ever be played ever..... They all suck...

There is a whole world outside of internet were people enjoy the games and don't waste time on sites to complain about everything and moaning that older games were better.

Re: Fans Have Discovered A Private Mario 35th Anniversary Twitter Account

Cyrax77

They are taking their time, I'm waiting for some Mario remakes. Yes, it sounds silly, I know. Old games but I just love Sunshine and 3D World. So if those game are among the remakes/remasters I would be so pleased.

The Switch is really a trip down memory for me with the NSO games and all those oldies but gooddies..... But I also need something new and Paper Mario doesn't seem to be all that great.

Re: Review: Lonely Mountains: Downhill - A Freewheeling Downhill Delight

Cyrax77

How does the game get a 9 out of 10 when it has serious performance issues? I just don't get it to be honest. I had my eye on this one, but I'll wait for a possible patch. It's just unbelievable that games get released like this, and it happens (specially on the Switch) a lot these days. The possibility to patch a game has a huge downside, and this is it. They just release games that are not finished and giving those kind of games a great review isn't helping. A game like this needs to be fluid, and it sounds like it just isn't.

@Mountain_Man

Easy my friend. I was responding to your comment that it is all good cause it always has been that way. I said that was nonsens.And it was never so that you needed to buy a whole new console just to have multiple Islands.

You don’t respond to that argument but suddenly It’s about putting things in the right perspective. What do you mean? You don’t know me or how much I know about life.

I can live my life. I wont sleep a minute less over this. But I do know when a company is trying to screw me over.

So don’t change the subject and make it a different thing.

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

@Mountain_Man

Why is it so hard to understand that if something has always been a certain way, that it doesn’t make it right? I just don’t care if it has always been this way (it wasn’t, because there is a big difference between a memorycard of even a second copy of a game and a whole new console), it’s just a slap in the face of the NS owners.

Nintendo wants to sell the Switch as a family console. Animal Crossing is one of THE games of this year. But you can’t have your own Island on console. No sorry. Buy more Switches and more copies of the game please. Thank you very much…

No, it doesn’t matter how people are trying to justify what Nintendo is doing. If it smells like poo, looks like poo and feels like poo, it is poo..

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Cyrax77

@Old_Man_Nintendo @Old_Man_Nintendo

Ofcourse it makes sense to them. They want it to sell like crazy. I love Nintendo and I’m more than happy to spend money on them. Boy, I spend a lot of money on Nintendo. They deserve it. But with this? I just really think it’s a slap in the face.

I don’t WANT to buy 3 new consoles and three copies of the same game just to be able to let my daughters play this game too. Yes, I know. Then don’t buy it…. But you have not seen the tears in their big brown eyes…. The way they look at you because they wanna have their own Island… The smile on their faces when you go to the store and spend like € 500,00 so they stop crying about it. I wanna be daddy cool…. So yes. Nintendo screwed me over…..

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

@Archius9

It’s 2020, it’s a non-argument to point out that in the past we needed memorycards so therefore it’s okay that Nintendo did this in ACNH. A memory card costs a fraction of what a brandnew console costs. I could have my own Island on my Cube and my girlfriend too on one console.

They need to give us the freedom to choose. Do I want to share an island or do we all want our own island on my, pretty expensive, console.

Yes, I knew you couldn’t have more islands on one console. I did buy the game yes yes….. I won’t review bomb this game, I really don’t feel the need. I still love this game, but I just don’t understand why so many people defend this decision. It’s a decision made for profit, not for you, not for me.

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Cyrax77

I do share the same opinion as some of those reviewers do. It’s absolutely a slap in the face from Nintendo to let their customers have only one island per console. Ridiculous.

My daughters can’t have their own island, I have to buy 2 more Switches. Shame on Nintendo, that decision was only made to make more profit. Saying otherwise is just pure nonsens. A decoy. They just want more money.

Don’t get me wrong, the game is a blast. But that one island per console… Man. That’s just ridiculous and I don’t care what kind of excuse they use… it’s about the money and nothing else.

Re: Feature: The Best Animal Crossing Games Of All Time

Cyrax77

1. Animal Crossing (GameCube): it was my first and I loved it. Still got it.
2. Animal Crossing New Horizon; Fantastic, played it all evening yesterday. Could come in first place but I need to play it more
3. Animal Crossing New Leaf (3DS); First time I played it handheld and it was a huge improvement over the past games.

Re: Nintendo Switch SNES Controllers Are Back In Stock In "Limited Quantity" (Europe)

Cyrax77

@everygrainofsand :

I grew up with Nintendo (Atari tbh), but I never owned a SNES myself. We didn't have the money those days. But a couple of my friends had parents that did have that kind of money, so I was there like... You know... Six days a week hahahaha. I did have a NES and I loved SMB3 and Turtles!

Inside the NES/SNES app you can go to the homemenu with R2. But outside that app. From the homemenu you can shut down the Switch. Outside those apps, you either need to walk to your console or keep another Switch contoller with you to quit the game of shut down the console when your playing a game.

Re: Nintendo Switch SNES Controllers Are Back In Stock In "Limited Quantity" (Europe)

Cyrax77

@everygrainofsand ;

Yes, that makes sense, I appreciate it heaps if you would let me know their reponse!

No problem mate! Yes, the contoller is awesome. I ordered another one. I like how it feels just like back in the day, but now without a wire! I do miss the home button outside the NES/SNES app a bit. That's a weird choice from Nintendo.

I like the 8Bitdo SN30 pro controller also, it looks like the SNES controller and has thumbsticks, a seperate homebutton/picturebutton and better L2 and R2 buttons. Great to have also.

The NES controllers don't do it for me because they only charge when attached to the Switch. That's not really my cup of tea. But I really had to do my best to resist them. Especially with that new pricetag...

Re: Review: Samurai Shodown - This Blade Is Still As Sharp As Ever

Cyrax77

@PhilKenSebben

Well, you got me there, cause I had no idea it was the reviewer I asked, that’s pretty clear.

Then, though my pride took a hit, I take back my words. I go and see for myself tonight. Thank you for your great comments, I’ll think twice next time I ask something. You are a very nice guy and you read very well.

Re: Review: Samurai Shodown - This Blade Is Still As Sharp As Ever

Cyrax77

@PhilKenSebben

Really? Is it like that?

Never knew that NL or any other review in that matter is always right and there is absolutely no reason to ask the community about their opinion about a game. Every single time NL writes a review, each member feels exactly the same way. What a great world we live in!

Have you read any other reviews about this game? Cause I sure have and not every review says that the game gets so close to the PS4 version. So my question is legit if you ask me. So hold your horses okay?

Re: Animal Crossing Direct Announced for 20th February

Cyrax77

I´m really waiting for the game. Love AC and I just can´t wait to play it on my Switch. But a Direct this long? Could it mean….?

Overall I really wanted a normal Direct over this one. I know this game is coming, and I want to know what they have in store for us in 2020. It's pretty silent when it comes to new Switch games in 2020.
