Today is Wednesday, 18th March, and you know what that means, right? There are only two more days until Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
Yes, the wait is finally almost over, and the game has been treated to yet another trailer to keep fans going in this final stretch. We see Fang and Drake having a chat with the player character, a charming spot of communal fishing, and more celebratory party poppers than one could ever need.
Hopefully you'll have seen it already, but if you haven't, make sure to check out our full review of the game to see if it might be for you. If you're already set on your island getaway, at least it'll add to your current hype levels.
Remember, the game's Version 1.1.0 update will go live tomorrow Thursday, 19th March, meaning it'll be all ready for launch.
Excited? Silly question? Two days!

Pretty sure that trailer has already been released. Maybe it was in Japanese, but I have definitely seen it before either way.
The perfect little game to play in these dark times. Can't wait!
Glad they're still supporting the 3DS! I'll have to pick up a copy of this game!
@Zephyr_Sonic huh?
@Crockin He may be trolling, he just started commenting yesterday and said that animal crossing games were overrated
It's a shame Etika isn't here to enjoy his first Animal Crossing game.
@Zephyr_Sonic you should! the game is really awesome. so nice to see so many people enjoy AC
Sad thing is my country is about to go on lockdown so we’re not gonna get a copy! Health above all and soon we’ll meet on the island
@Hobbesyall You could pick up a copy on the eShop, it's probably over-priced compared to a physical copy though :/
Hmph... Where's the trailer featuring Doomguy as a villager...
Already have it. A shop in the Netherlands closes tomorrow due to the Corona virus. Of you pre-ordered the game you could pick it up today. And so I did
This game has come at just the right time... However, I cant help thinking physical sales will no doubt be less due to the virus. E Shop sales as a percentage will no doubt rocket to compensate.
@MasterJay I got got. Live laugh love
Got it today cuz of corona! Store closes from tomorrow on so they be selling it today to all pre-orders
The perfect game to play during the coronavirus, thank you Nintendo.
Legit question from an Animal Crossing newby. Will it be possible to set this in-game clock behind or ahead? I usually don’t get to play much during the day, and I was hoping to be able to participate in the daytime activities.
@Xeno_Aura I love the physical copies
Wonderful - it's nice to have a trailer that focus' on the animals side to the game this much. For me that's the pull - living with talking animals!
I already have the game, because the store here (Gamemania) will be closed from tomorrow they started selling the game to people with pre-orders today.
@fortius54 can you set the switch clock so that it is in a timezone that's not your own? That's the only workaround I can think of, but it may not be possible... or it will have a negative impact on other games...
Either way I think theres lots you can still do at night. Some of the shops in previous games were 24/7. I mean seriously, who has a 24hr haberdashery?!?
Is the picnic a new thing? Can you choose yourself which citizens to invite? :3
