Nintendo Australia has confirmed that a new shipment of Animal Crossing Switch consoles will be launching across Australia and New Zealand next month.
The console, which features Animal Crossing-inspired designs across the main unit and dock, as well as exclusive, gorgeously coloured Joy-Con, will be available from selected retailers once more starting from 9th October.
A similar restock arrived for Australia back in June, with stock then starting to appear in other regions such as the UK shortly afterwards. Hopefully we'll see a similar deal here, with other countries also getting restocks over the coming weeks.
Did you manage to secure one of these beauties when they first launched? Have you been keeping an eye out for one ever since? Tell us below.

Rather this than that ugly Fortnite console that was shown earlier.
I got this the first time. Beauty of a console. Best looking Switch at this point.
I hope not because mine is currently retaining it's resell value! Jokes aside, I do hope they do another production run, it would make a killer Christmas present.
As much as I love Animal Crossing, and I do think this is a stylish device, I cannot justify a second switch in my home.
If they were to sell the items individually, wow, then I could see getting the dock and maybe the controllers.
Let us buy those Joy-Cons separately !
@noobish_hat Of course Nintendo 'saw a penny' - who do you think your seller got it from, Sega!?
@Cyrax77 only witch i could find this year was lets go pokemon one. my kids would argue its better looking. lol
They've given people quite a few chances to get their hands on it now. Those who spent excessive amounts to buy one from a scalper might be feeling a little silly.
@noobish_hat ... And the person that sold the used one to you, what would they have done with it if you didn't buy it - set fire to it? Steam roller perhaps?
@noobish_hat Perhaps they might have just sold it to somebody else.
I seriously want this Switch, if I weren't biding my time for that Switch Pro in March... In fact, just like Monster Hunter 4U sold a special edition N3DSXL, I wouldn't be surprised if they do that again with a special edition MH Switch Pro.
@echoplex They're sold separately in Japan, but of course it'll cost a pretty penny to import. So is the dock!
so wheres the NA reprints?
This is like the 3rd printing for AUS...
I hope it will reappear elsewhere. I got it the first time and sold my original switch. Absolutely love this one. The backplate is the best part and the dock looks awesome on my shelf
That said, you can get the looks from really well done decals available for the dock and joycons. Its not exactly the same but looks very nice. I didnt hesitate to pre-order it because I had the original switch and this is the new one with a modest increase to battery life.
