@CuriousUserX90 Thank goodness fighters that do get cut are not those that’ve played a Big Part in the franchise. I’m sure though there are good explanations for who does get cut, more likely that would occur to the Cloned Fighters, Falco I know wasn’t cut from later games following because of his importance in the Star Fox Franchise, he is to Fox as Luigi is to Mario, so they made him less of a Clone since Brawl. Same can be said for those who wouldn’t make it because of a system’s limitations which went for Ice Climbers, Squirtle and Ivysaur in Smash 4, and those who’d have a similar reason to Mewtwo, Lucas, Wolf and Snake (former 2 though did manage to return as DLC in Smash 4). Of course though, we may never know if there’ll be future gaming systems that can have games of any franchise to support over 100 playable characters, which could lead to real advantages for particular gaming franchises.
This news was relieving for the fact the franchise will have a future beyond Ultimate even without Sakurai’s involvement. Stuff from games released after Ultimate should get some reference in the only time Nintendo Characters can all come together at some point over the years.
There’s particular fighters out there that should never get cut from a Smash Bros. Roster, for instance those important characters in Nintendo History and those important characters to Particular Franchises. Sonic is a 3rd Party Fighter who should never be cut from a Smash Bros. game based off his fame.
Smash Bros. is one of those franchises we’ve been lucky to see on every Nintendo System, those who don’t get their chance in Ultimate we can only hope will manage to do so in later installments. Each new game has been able to include someone we’re familiar with from particular Nintendo franchises to finally get their chance as Fighters. For instance Brawl finally brought in Diddy Kong and King Dedede, Smash 4 finally brought in Bowser Jr. and Villager, and Ultimate finally brought in Ridley. Stuff that can’t be accomplishable in one game can always get better chances in a future game.
They should not leave out these familiar stages: *Mushroom Kingdom (one of them), would be nice to see one of the 8bit Mushroom Kingdom stages again. *Woolly World, YWW should have some more representation in Ultimate now that it's actually released. New Stages that could possibly appear as well as for Newcomer Franchises that seem certain is one from Pokemon Sun & Moon and one with Xenoblade Chronicles X (that is if there's a XCX Fighter), not to mention a PictoChat X. With a massive amount of stages, how could the music tracks for each of them be represented (it would either be like Smash 4's Wii U Version and Brawl or Smash 4's 3DS Version I guess, depends of thousands of Music Tracks can possibly make it with nearly 100 stages).
@link3710 That's what I was thinking, closer to launch there could be a dedicated direct for Ultimate, but there should also be more than one Major Direct this year, even if one of them's a mini direct, and that Directs won't be the only time to expect Newcomer Trailers (the Reveal Trailer for Robin in fact was not in any Particular Presentation leading to Smash 4's release), with clips that could possibly be featured in Ultimate's intro.
Only like 2-3 Major Nintendo Directs happen a year, hope there can be enough time to fit in challenger approaching trailers each month leading to December (in Smash 4 Newcomer trailers were saved for Major Nintendo Presentations to share details on upcoming games like Directs during the year). Was it really a good idea to not show off the first screens of Ultimate before E3 on the same year as launch. There’d been people like myself worried bout the Smash Bros. having no future, the one and only time Nintendo Characters all come together is one of those franchises fortunate to have new games on each and every Nintendo System, Previous Smash Bros. games even had their first screens shown off over a year before the game’s launch, good luck I say for whatever does manage to be revealed between now and launch.
I always thought that fighters not revealed before the game’s release would be Unlockable, which was the case with previous games/thus indicating which fighters both familiar and new would be Unlockable. But seeing how this goes, I think all fighters could be revealed before the game’s release.
So this is a Port after all, despite leading into the events of SMO afterwards. It would make sense to not include the SM3DW levels as they in the Wii U game only were playable to those who had SM3DW save data. Atleast they’re doing something to acknowledge the fact of how Captain Toad was in SMO, though they only went with 4 Kingdoms to explore.
Once Waluigi’s game steps up, like him appearing alongside Wario in WarioWare and Wario Land Games, then perhaps he’ll finally have his chance with becoming a fighter in future Smash Bros. games. Ultimate simply is not his time to shine just yet. It takes specific games and specific things to happen with them before they can become Smash Bros. Fighters.
Don’t really recall any Sonic games being announced at the Tokyo Game Show in 2015. The franchise was nothing like it in 2015, I always thought that there were new Sonic games every year similar to with Mario.
@CuriousUserX90 The following Pokémon Types have not yet been used with Starter Pokémon as their Secondary Types to date: *Rock *Electric *Bug *Normal *Ice Technically though Dragon has been used with Mega Evolutions. So, 2019 is actually the time to expect the next Gen of Pokemon with more Pokemon to encounter, a new region to explore, and new aspects to witnessed. These Pokémon GO like games are simply under the same category as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Pokémon Ranger.
This certainly is a 2nd though with Nintendo doing a Direct for E3 this year. One of these years we certainly could use an explanation as to why they’ve been forgoing Press Conferences for E3 since 2013.
Hope they have a good amount of announcements as usual. If the Next Official Mario Kart game with 16 or 20 NEW Nitro and Retro Tracks for the Switch can be announced to be in Development then I’ll finally consider getting my hands on a Switch myself, thus putting my worries aside about these Switch Ports of Wii U games.
Why would a Core/Mainstream Pokemon Game ever be up for simply focusing on only Catching the Pokemon and encountering them at Random Moments as opposed to battling the Pokemon as well and only encountering them if you’re in the Tall Grass? Pokémon Go is we know is Mobile Game/a Non-Main Game that does not focus on it’s current gen and uses only a limited amount of Pokémon.
I disagree with anything in regards to the Gen VIII Pokemon Games that involve it starting the franchise over. There’s currently 808 Pokemon, and there’s lots more to see, some may even be introduced in that New Pokémon Movie later this year like that New Eeveelution, not to mention lots more Regions to be explored of the Pokemon World.
@Devlind Super Mario Odyssey wasn't the only Nintendo game shown at E3 2017. It was in fact the last trailer during the Nintendo Presentation. Besides, we already figured out that this Smash Bros. game is a New Game thanks to the updated appearance of Link and a different looking logo and main theme heard in the teaser.
Mario certainly is getting decorative out of his Usual Plumber attire, with the addition of some extras. They should even have use in future games like Alternate Costumes for Mario in the Smash Bros. Franchise. But to see him wearing the outfits of the other Plumbers, I don’t think they’d be pleased very much, Mario could even be mistaken for his brother.
If they can announce that a New Official Mario Kart game with 16 or 20 NEW Nitro and Retro Tracks is in development at E3 this year then I’ll finally consider getting my hands on a Switch myself. If it’s not then I won’t have a Switch for a while longer based on me not getting my hands on it until a new game of what there’s been a New Game of an Each and Every Nintendo System is announced to be coming. Man it would be swell if this letter for Nintendo sent to the LA Convention Centre is received in Knick of time: http://aminoapps.com/p/dt50pgw
It would also be swell if Hideki Konno brought these things up about the Mario Kart Franchise sometime: http://aminoapps.com/p/bospx5
Sooner we’re assured that these Switch Ports of Wii U games will not stop eventual new games of the franchises as well the better. Once I make a bingo board about Nintendo’s E3 Presentation I’ll even list a particular spot as a prize point, which is New Mario Kart game for Switch Announcement = Switch for Me, plus able to set foot into Game Stores myself again.
Just hope they do a better job with this year’s presentation and not make it minute, plus have more first time reveals. A slight chance that Smash 5 may delay itself to 2019, how long has it even been in development for? Smash Bros. games previously have not released the same year as their first screenings, plus Sakurai like with previous games would need be time to discuss details and features of the game. I already explained in this amino in regards to what each franchise in the past 4 years has been up to since the release of Smash 4: https://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://aminoapps.com/p/vzhqx6
@electrolite77 That's what I've been thinking. One of these days there could be a Compilation Game of all 3 Earthbound games, of which would be able to give the West their first chance with playing Mother 3.
@CuriousUserX90 Pretty Good videos have been done here of goodbyes to Miitomo, showcasing how much making such pics has been, something we hope to be able to do again one of these days: *http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmUk3S83xWY&autoplay=1

That app kept me pretty well occupado throughout 2017 and was hard not to use, it’s a good thing that I accomplished my goals in it, and that I had good moments. I loved seeing Miis talk, getting to know others better and vice versa, and not to mention it’s other great aspects that no other Mobile Game has. Luckily I have stuff from the game stored at somewhere, examples include my Sidekick Miis on my 3DS who I’ve not yet had a chance to send to here: http://www.miicharacters.com/
My Miitomo Friends I’m able to remain in touch with at other places like my 3DS, Discord and Amino, not to mention becoming my Team Members in Miitopia, and my Miifoto Log Images are all safely stored in an Amino, don’t think they’d hold on Twitter and Pinterest sadly. Overall I gave my impressions from my time using the app in an Amino: http://aminoapps.com/p/gmpil0
The Sad thing about Mobile Games is that they’ll come to a Halt one of these days, that’s something we’d probably be in for with Super Mario Run in less than a year. But luckily Successors to Mobile Games are possible, hopefully Miitomo will indeed have a Successor at some point in the future where we can continue doing what we loved doing in the app, though improvements would also be very much appreciated, I don’t expect Miitomo to be the only Mobile Game that makes use of Miis. Later this year as we know we’ll be in for a New Zelda Game and Mario Kart Tour as Nintendo’s next mobile game.
Such a shame that the Switch is ditching yet another aspect that we loved about Previous Systems, especially those life changing and those that changed our gaming experience, one of the cons about the Switch at the moment. It was great overall to’ve had our 2nd chance with these games from older systems, shame it is though that the 3DS and Wii U were not backwards compatible with GBA and GCN games respectively, thus sending our 2nd chances with them down the drain. With this news it makes me wonder how the West will be able to get their hands on Mother 3 now, we were glad to’ve gotten our hands on the first game of the franchise in 2015 under the name Earthbound Beginnings, and we were thankful to’ve had Earthbound come to Wii U VC in the West thanks to Miiverse after it did not come to Wii VC. Our only hope I guess would be to wait upon a Potential Compilation game consisting of all 3 Mother games in regards to how the West would finally have hold of Mother 3.
So there is a good reason for this change in Formula with the Mario Party Franchise after all. Personally I don’t mind the change in Formula with the fact that it’s better than going round a board in circles several times, and I quite like the addition of Familiar Mario Bosses and Enemies as Boss Battles, not to mention a more reasonable way to be in the lead.
Should be discontinued by now this 3DS if you ask me. I mean sometime by the end of this year Online Functions of the 3DS and Wii U will probably go discontinued, and there is a time where we may put things like Swapdoodle and Going after Badges aside.
@TF-Warrior One of these years we deserve an Explanation as to why Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach were brought into the roster. Hopefully no new Metallic Copies beyond them will be introduced in later installments, but Different forms of Mario Power Ups as DLC with Future Mario Kart games is possible alongside Different Additional Nintendo Characters.
This may not be News about the Announcement of the Next Official Mario Kart game for the Switch, but I certainly do like the looks of a Mario Kart themed Board Game.
Some stuff about what's already known of I agree with, stuff not already known of, here's what I have to say bout that: *Next Official Mario Kart game for Switch: Probably that might be announced to be in Development similar to how Metroid Prime 4 was last year at this year's E3. Would really make my day if it is. *Mario & Sonic at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games: They can announce it in this Direct or at Sega's Event next week. *Super Mario Maker 2: I don't see that happening until after the Next 2D Mario Game and unless the Switch can have itself a Miiverse Counterpart. *New 2D Mario Game, Mario Party 10 Deluxe, Luigi's Mansion 3 and New Captain Toad Adventure: Would be nice if those were announced this year whether they be at E3, in this Presentation, or in a Future Presentation.
Right now I more so prefer the Wii U (a great system that I got my hands on only 2 weeks before Christmas the year it launched) over it’s Successor. One reason is that the Wii U was life changing and has plenty of things that it’s Successor lacks, of which can made less not so happy about if it came to that system as well: A way to talk directly with friends, an easier way to add friends by simply typing in someone’s name and waiting for them to accept, a way to meet other gamers, a way to share our gaming experience, a way for Game Developers to know their Fanbase better and vice versa, a way to ask for help, Games update by themselves (better than they do on the 3DS which is done through eShop Purchases and takes up blocks to do so), stuff like that is among what I loved about the Wii U. Think of how Iwata’s Ghost would feel to his still living old fellow members about ditching that great stuff about the Wii U. Why hasn’t any Game Critic in the past year spoken to these Game Developers about features of the System still yet? I keep asking them in an email to do that, that’s their job to collect information about these games.
@electrolite77 Well, these Upcoming Games in that list at the time were true. I can’t find anything else to refresh your memory from 2014, but Beta64 talked about that announcement in this video in regards to the Announcement of a New 3D Mario Game that year: https://youtu.be/cTVmqKOz3WA
As did GameXplain in their discussion video bout 2014 in Gaming: *https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5emaOBg2sAA *https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IqeZPJbPmD4 *https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hJfvt0NDoDw *https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HVqNE0fYSFY Well, it was one of these videos that talked of what this 3D Mario Game for Wii U that never came was thought to’ve been.
@electrolite77 To repeat what I said, am I the only one who remembers in 2014 that a New 3D Mario Game was announced to be coming to the Wii U, proof by what this list of Mario Games both released and upcoming looked like in 2014 (some Game Critics may've even mentioned it on their sites in 2014): https://web.archive.org/web/20140702211145/https://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_games_by_date
As if Nintendo would only release 1 2D and 1 3D Game per system, of which the Mainstream Mario Games for the Wii U and 3DS released within their First Year, before Amiibo was introduced (the Wii has said otherwise about that for having had 2 3D Mario Games). And as if the Switch really started work immediately after the Wii U, the Wii U started work on only 2 years after the Wii, Iwata never knew anything about the Switch or anything for the system aside from it's codename and that it would not be shared to the world before his passing.
I beg to differ about this. We knew nothing about the Switch at the time of SM3DW’s Release or in 2014. That year I recall there being the Announcement that a New 3D Mario Game was in Development for the Wii U, unknown if it was a SMG3 or something new, but sadly it never did come to be: https://web.archive.org/web/20140702211145/https://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_games_by_date
Bout time they confirmed an actual day for 2019, now to wait for Cast Confirmations that they’ll hopefully do throughout this year. It’s no real surprise that this Sonic Movie is releasing nearly 2 weeks before Frozen 2 and around the same time as Wonder Woman 2, both of which are quite anticipated films for November 2019.
@Euler Comments were an essential part of levels, mainly to guide players through them, they were more important with quiz levels. What's even the point of sharing levels with the world if we can't have feedback to them, and point out where we're struggling. Sometime this year when the Wii U and 3DS potentially lose their online functionalities, which would be no biggie, we may no longer be able to share our SMM Levels with the world, not to mention play other people's levels. All we'd be able to do with SMM then is simply twiddle around with the level creator.

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Says That Super Smash Bros. Ultimate "Could Ruin" Future Games
@CuriousUserX90 There’s been a Ballot we were submitting to in 2015 as to who we’d like to see as fighters. Each submitted fighter will be considered for being a fighter, though not all at once for good reasons: https://mynintendonews.com/2018/04/03/super-smash-bros-fighter-ballot-data-to-be-used-for-reference-for-future-smash-games/amp/#click=https://t.co/DHPUzWG65l

This is definitely a first for Ciao being playable characters. What could’ve possibly been wrong with Cream being playable?
Re: Big The Cat, Chao And Amy Will All Be Playable In Team Sonic Racing
@CuriousUserX90 Based on the news about Big being retired from the Franchise in 2012, I ended up posting this: https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/12581/
Re: Big The Cat, Chao And Amy Will All Be Playable In Team Sonic Racing
This certainly is not a first for a character who’d been retired to eventually be brought back.

Re: Video: The Inevitable Nintendo Switch E3 2018 Predictions Video
@Devlind Super Mario Odyssey wasn't the only Nintendo game shown at E3 2017. It was in fact the last trailer during the Nintendo Presentation. Besides, we already figured out that this Smash Bros. game is a New Game thanks to the updated appearance of Link and a different looking logo and main theme heard in the teaser.
Re: Rumour: Super Mario Odyssey Is Getting Some Snazzy New Snapshot Filters
Mario certainly is getting decorative out of his Usual Plumber attire, with the addition of some extras. They should even have use in future games like Alternate Costumes for Mario in the Smash Bros. Franchise. But to see him wearing the outfits of the other Plumbers, I don’t think they’d be pleased very much, Mario could even be mistaken for his brother.
Re: Video: The Inevitable Nintendo Switch E3 2018 Predictions Video
Re: Video: The Inevitable Nintendo Switch E3 2018 Predictions Video
Just hope they do a better job with this year’s presentation and not make it minute, plus have more first time reveals. A slight chance that Smash 5 may delay itself to 2019, how long has it even been in development for? Smash Bros. games previously have not released the same year as their first screenings, plus Sakurai like with previous games would need be time to discuss details and features of the game. I already explained in this amino in regards to what each franchise in the past 4 years has been up to since the release of Smash 4: https://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://aminoapps.com/p/vzhqx6
Re: The Virtual Console Isn't Coming To Switch, Nintendo Confirms
@electrolite77 That's what I've been thinking. One of these days there could be a Compilation Game of all 3 Earthbound games, of which would be able to give the West their first chance with playing Mother 3.
Re: Miitomo, Nintendo's Original Mobile App, Passes Away
@CuriousUserX90 Pretty Good videos have been done here of goodbyes to Miitomo, showcasing how much making such pics has been, something we hope to be able to do again one of these days: *http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmUk3S83xWY&autoplay=1

Re: Miitomo, Nintendo's Original Mobile App, Passes Away
Re: The Virtual Console Isn't Coming To Switch, Nintendo Confirms
Re: Interview: Nintendo and Nd Cube on Bowser, amiibo and the Pure Luck of the Dice in Mario Party 10
@CuriousUserX90 I stumbled across this interview following one of the Recent VGFacts submissions: https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/12785/
Re: Interview: Nintendo and Nd Cube on Bowser, amiibo and the Pure Luck of the Dice in Mario Party 10
Re: Kimishima Says Nintendo Has Plans For The 3DS In 2019 And Beyond
Should be discontinued by now this 3DS if you ask me. I mean sometime by the end of this year Online Functions of the 3DS and Wii U will probably go discontinued, and there is a time where we may put things like Swapdoodle and Going after Badges aside.
Re: Official Nintendo Magazine Confirms Pokémon On Switch Will Be 'Generation Eight'
Of course it would be Gen VIII, why wouldn’t it be? Core Pokémon games are part of a Gen after all.
Re: Looks Like Playtonic Is Ready To Reveal Its Next Game
Guess it could be another Spiritual Successor to a Rare game. Even if it is, it indeed would be nice if Yooka-Laylee had a follow up someday.
Re: Race For The Highest Score In Mario Kart Monopoly
@TF-Warrior One of these years we deserve an Explanation as to why Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach were brought into the roster. Hopefully no new Metallic Copies beyond them will be introduced in later installments, but Different forms of Mario Power Ups as DLC with Future Mario Kart games is possible alongside Different Additional Nintendo Characters.
Re: Race For The Highest Score In Mario Kart Monopoly
This may not be News about the Announcement of the Next Official Mario Kart game for the Switch, but I certainly do like the looks of a Mario Kart themed Board Game.
Re: Surprise! There's A New Nintendo Direct Coming, And It's Due Tomorrow
We can see for sure if this is accurate or not during the Presentation or not: https://mynintendonews.com/2018/01/12/a-senior-analyst-at-smbc-nikko-is-predicting-pokemon-smash-bros-animal-crossing-switch-news-around-march/amp/
Some stuff about what's already known of I agree with, stuff not already known of, here's what I have to say bout that:
*Next Official Mario Kart game for Switch: Probably that might be announced to be in Development similar to how Metroid Prime 4 was last year at this year's E3.
Re: Soapbox: Nintendo Switch Learned A Lot From Wii U’s Struggles During Its Own First Year
Right now I more so prefer the Wii U (a great system that I got my hands on only 2 weeks before Christmas the year it launched) over it’s Successor.
Re: You Can Now Leave User Reviews On Nintendo's Official Website
@CuriousUserX90 Well, I think I've found the page, but I dunno where to submit my own reviews for these games: https://www.nintendo.com/games/switch
Re: Super Mario Odyssey Was Always Planned To Be Released On Switch
@electrolite77 Well, these Upcoming Games in that list at the time were true. I can’t find anything else to refresh your memory from 2014, but Beta64 talked about that announcement in this video in regards to the Announcement of a New 3D Mario Game that year: https://youtu.be/cTVmqKOz3WA
As did GameXplain in their discussion video bout 2014 in Gaming:
*https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IqeZPJbPmD4
*https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hJfvt0NDoDw
*https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HVqNE0fYSFY
Well, it was one of these videos that talked of what this 3D Mario Game for Wii U that never came was thought to’ve been.
Re: Super Mario Odyssey Was Always Planned To Be Released On Switch
Re: You Can Now Leave User Reviews On Nintendo's Official Website
Nice feature this seems like. I could maybe try it out sometime.
Re: Super Mario Odyssey Was Always Planned To Be Released On Switch
I beg to differ about this. We knew nothing about the Switch at the time of SM3DW’s Release or in 2014. That year I recall there being the Announcement that a New 3D Mario Game was in Development for the Wii U, unknown if it was a SMG3 or something new, but sadly it never did come to be: https://web.archive.org/web/20140702211145/https://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_games_by_date
Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Will Race To Theaters in 2019
Bout time they confirmed an actual day for 2019, now to wait for Cast Confirmations that they’ll hopefully do throughout this year. It’s no real surprise that this Sonic Movie is releasing nearly 2 weeks before Frozen 2 and around the same time as Wonder Woman 2, both of which are quite anticipated films for November 2019.
Re: Nintendo's Ultimate Ambition Is For Switch "To Be Owned By Every Single Person"
Re: Nintendo's Ultimate Ambition Is For Switch "To Be Owned By Every Single Person"
@jimi I see your point.
