@nmanifold with 8's sales there's no way they'd release a new Mario kart yet, but it also feels late for dlc. honestly I'm just starving for anything Mario kart
Y'know, as much as I always love new fighters, I'd love to see like, a custom break the targets mode or something wacky like that... okay maybe I just really miss break the targets.
I think it will not meet expectations with how excited people are, but I DO NOT care. Nintendo news is Nintendo news at this point and I'm hyped. Metroid Prime trilogy plus 4 please
Grinding is good if it's complimented by good mechanics or exploration. A good example is the choice in Minecraft to either get experience as you explore, mindlessly do an activity you like, or grind the materials to build a self sustaining farm. Another example would be grinding for certain items and stuff in BOTW. The combat and game feel is so good that I don't mind grinding.
besides my persistent use of dugtrio and ampharos, I don't think I really repeated any Pokemon across the series... granted I didn't play every version of each game.
@ArlongKing01 Oh of course! Hollow knight, Human fall flat, Cuphead, Undertale, Dead Cells, Goose Game. It's just there's so much junk, you gotta sort through
Return of the King! Lol though, never seen people care enough to get their shovel ware rereleased after this kind of thing. They got more effort than some rip off devs, I'll give them that.
@Anti-Matter Whoah that'd be really cool. actually come to think of it, since the lego games are known for being goofy and having really large amounts of characters, that would finally create a way for there to be an adventure game with the Smash Bros roster
Dang I never really thought about how DKC was the first game to implement the more iconic DK design. both good designs but imagine If DK still had the DK/DKJ look from the boxarts and such
I know many say stuff about this not being the first good open world game, and yes, people may credit Nintendo too much, but holy crap this game is good. I haven't played too many open world games, but I'm sure there's a reason people gravitate towards this one. When Nintendo does well, theres an extremely high level of quality and charm in their games
@kaiofelipe Yeah, it's a good feeling for sure, and Sinnoh could've used the opportunity better. I hope that something can light a fire under game freak to see the potential their franchise has. I genuinely think they're gonna start losing sales from teen/ adult fans in the next gen or two if they keep things up. Despite Sinnoh being my favorite region, I honestly don't know if I'll bring myself to buy it if it's like Sw/Sh
Edit: sorry I got off topic. Pokemon is like this well of thoughts and feelings lately and it's really easy to go off track talking about it
@Snatcher the fact that the Pokemon music was a remix of a song he made as a joke about male pregnancy makes it even greater. Dude got the chance to put a song in a Pokemon game, and he put one he made as a meme in... and its REALLY GOOD
Coming back to this article as I just had a cool idea people have already probably said before. What if 3d land was remade in the 3d world style, with World's multiplayer added in along with the music redone in the 3d world style. They could even throw in another small bonus open world game like Bowser's Fury!
Edited in idea(s):
1) Since peach is captured, Daisy, Rosalina, or Wario could be a starting character with Peach being unlocked after the main game.
2) The Bowser's Fury style mode could be Tanooki themed.
@kaiofelipe I get most of your points but I've never understood why people don't like long stretches between gyms. I've always enjoyed when Pokemon games have huge stretches of just exploring routes, finding cities, etc, especially with how short the games mostly are
@MegaVel91 Lol yeah idk what you said as it appears you deleted your comment, but abuse doesn't seem like the right word. I'd like to guess they were just trying to get past the sensors on this site by using alternative words
Torn on this one. Got the OG bundled with my Wii U. would love to replay, and Fury looks awesome, but 60 dollars is kind of a lot of money to double dip on. more than half a hundred, in fact
I love Gyroids. Even if they aren't very important, what REALLY is in animal crossing. They're such an iconic little feature so I'd love to see them pop up once more
@JaxonH I watched Gaijin Hunter's lance tutorial for generations ultimate. theres a few differences between it and Rise but it definitely was a good base explanation. Thanks for the recommendation
Part of me is a little bummed if multiplayer isn't there, but considering how there's multiple of those sun things to collect, the content in this one area is probably pretty comparable to a full in game world from the base game, so that's cool.
For anyone who doesn't get speed running or straight up hates it, it's just a different way to enjoy the game and master it. Some skip to the end glitches may be a bit unimpressive or uninteresting, but most speed running tricks require a lot of practice and precision to pull off, so just because someone skips a boss, or something like that doesn't mean they aren't good. And for those who still don't like that, that's why 100% speed runs are a thing as well
@twztid13 Agreed. The switch has managed to reach the perfect wii-gamecube balance. Doesn't abandon core gamers while also allowing the silly gimmicky fun that the wii had
@JaxonH wait so how do combos work exactly. I've enjoyed using lance in the demo to time well spaced attacks and block enemy attacks, but I feel like I'm missing something as the attacks I put out feel very basic and not at all how monster hunter fans describe the combat

HOW DID MYSELF OR ANYONE ELSE NOT SEE THIS COMING WITH THE LACK OF MUSIC
Re: Random: Streamer Tries To Beat Hades Using A Pomegranate As A Controller
a good alternate subheading would be "the future of gaming is now"

@Ludovsky agreed. World of Light Is sad because it feels really huge and ambitious but it just doesn't feel as special

Re: Video: We've Ranked All 151 Gen 1 Pokémon And It Nearly Killed Us
@Silly_G Fair. I freaking love the Pokemon, map, worldbuilding, etc of sinnoh, but it is extremely sluggish

@TestudoVilis Nidoqueen was awesome in my run of blue. such an interesting type combination especially for the first generation

Re: Final Sword Returns To The Japanese Switch eShop As A Definitive Edition Release
@ArlongKing01 It used to make things difficult for indie devs, but now without it it makes it difficult to find good stuff on the eshop

@Anti-Matter yes. Diamond and Pearl aren't terrible, but platinum improves them vastly

@Tyranexx I'd agree but also include gen 3. I feel like 3-5 are all the peak of the series.
