Re: Talking Point: The GamePad and its Role Defining the Wii U

Buduski

At first I didnt care much for the gamepad but after playing with it and using many of its features that has changed (still prefer the pro controller though), I know Nintendo said they would add a patch that allows two gamepads to play at a time, when that happens I suppose they plan on selling the gamepad as a seperate controller but how much would it cost?

Re: Nintendo Addresses Confusion Surrounding Wii U's Name In Latest TV Commercial

Buduski

Yeah im glad they are targeting the younger crowd, but when will they show people in there 20's-30's playing having a good time and all of a sudden there girlfriend/boyfriend shows up and takes over the TV, so they switch to the gamepad and keep gaming or they just get a bowl of popcorn and watch Netflix or Nintendo TVii to show off the Wii U as more than a gaming machine? All those are potential TV adds. Even showing what Miiverse is and how it works would be a step in the right direction

Re: Poll: As the PS4 Arrives, What Do You Think of the 'New Gen' Environment for Wii U?

Buduski

Wow... So many people saying wii u is doomed when a few months back they where the same people singing Nintendo's praises saying it will be like the 3DS when it turned around... I honestly love my Wii U & my 3DS XL and even though it might not look good for Nintendo's home console only time will tell who's right, I honestly plan on sticking with the Wii U/ 3DS combo this gen (Unless I find a dirt cheap PS4 or pick one up after a pretty heavy Price drop)

Re: Nintendo Releases Handy Wii U Comparison Chart

Buduski

@GamerJunkie , the PS4 being "better" is really a preference thing, I'll admit the PS4 has some nice specs and features but to say you wouldn't recommend the Wii U over the PS4 & Xbox ONE means you probably haven't played Pikmin 3, Wonderful101, Super Luigi U or any of the 3rd party or indie games that have been released, and Just so you know I'm 25 and still find Nintendo games to be better quality and just better experiences than Sony and Microsoft and before you ask, yes I own a 360 and used to own a PS3 (sold it)

Re: Nintendo Releases Handy Wii U Comparison Chart

Buduski

I was at Walmart today putting a few things on lay away, when all of a sudden I hear a mother asking an employee whats the difference between wii & wii u and the employee said that there is no difference between them... I stopped and said excuse me thats not true they are two different consoles, and proceeded to explain the differences between the two... So either employees in the electronic departments are very uninformed or this one in particular didn't want to sell a wii u... Nintendo NEEDS to get the message out more and more clearly what the Wii u is, evrn if it meand drawing it on a map as long as casuals and other non Nintendo gamers understand how awesome the wii u is and can be

Re: Wii U Players Won't Be Able To Join A Clan In Call Of Duty: Ghosts

Buduski

@Dogpigfish, I wouldn't want Nintendo to turn all there franchises into shooters but they could use at least one exclusive shooter of there own, and Namco actually help Nintendo with the online modes for wii sports club which should drop soon to the e-shop, I just hope they keep trying to get support for more online features on there IP & even though a Naughty Dog or Bungie collaboration with Nintendo would be awesome I doubt it will ever happen but that metroid prime idea could be beyond epic if Retro studios and Bungie where to collaborate on that together

Re: Wii U Players Won't Be Able To Join A Clan In Call Of Duty: Ghosts

Buduski

@twistedbee, thats very true, and I have said a few times that Nintendo needs a great online multiplayer FPS to go against COD, Battlefield, halo and all the other FPS. obviously Nintendo would need a top of the line IP to compete, in this case it could be Metroid Prime, all who played metroid prime hunters for the DS should have an idea of what it could be like, imagine it but on a much bigger scale (and better controls), customizable options for your weapons/armor for online matches, 1080p @ 60fps, different game modes, a rich campaign mode... a guy could dream right

Re: Wii U Players Won't Be Able To Join A Clan In Call Of Duty: Ghosts

Buduski

It really is sad that so many people look down at the Wii U like if it wasn't a fully capable console, ever since I bought a Wii U I haven't touched my 360. I know Nintendo is still playing catch-up when it comes to online features but they ARE making progress and when sales pick up (and they will) you'll see that 3rd party developers are gonna be as enthusiastic about supporting the U as they where before it launched, but for now it is what it is

Re: Working With Western Developers Is All About Trust, Says Miyamoto

Buduski

@NINTENCHIP, you clearly never played Metroid Prime Hunters for the original DS, that game had Local & online multiplayer and it worked fine (the touch screen controls where awkward but thats not the point) they need something similar but on a larger scale, Beautiful HD graphics output at 1080p running a smooth 60 fps, having TDM with different Hunters including Samus or creating your own as a customizable hunters (weapons, armor, etc.)... Yea a Game mode like THAT if implemented would definitely be a bad thing

Re: Nintendo Direct: Check Out the Wii Fit U Direct Here

Buduski

@ScorpionMG, yeah I just wanted to make sure thats what reggie said, I never bought any wii fit titles but I might give this download version a try just because my cousin has the balance board collecting dust at his house so he'll probably let me borrow it.

Re: Talking Point: Marketing Wii U to the Masses

Buduski

I understand the gamepad should be the center of attention for the wii u but I honestly love playing with the pro controller more, to bad they didnt add a headset jack for those multiplayer games that have voice chat :/

Re: Say Hello To The Nintendo 2DS - A 3DS without 3D

Buduski

I think its great in all honesty, certain aspects resemble the wii u game pad, like the L/R buttons on top and the home button, so all those going on crazy rants really need to relax and think about who this is aimed for because this is just an affordable solution to the 3DS excluding the 3D effect and the hinge that kids love to break. Also I know its hasn't been alot of compitition but the VITA had a price drop anounced so Nintendo is probably using this as an even more affordable and accessible price point to those without a 3DS or hand held console.
