Weird, I thought this had already been reviewed. I was sure the review included a scene from The Fast and the Furious, with Hello Kitty and another character replacing Dom and Brian.
@charlieonholiday thanks, I’ll bear that in mind. I have the 3DS version still, so will take a look at some point when there’s nothing I particularly want to play straight away.
I’m slowly making my way through DQXIS. I’ve never completed a DQ game before (despite trying VII and VIII). Hopefully this time will be different.
I also plan to play Zombieland Double Tap: Road Trip. Yes it’s expensive, but I love twin stick shooters and got the physical version so don’t mind paying a bit extra.
Water Ski. It's almost as old as I am, and very basic, but I like that Hamster are releasing games that are a bit obscure and don't make it to the usual retro collections. It's stupidly hard, though.
@Daftbomb. They are VERY different types of game, too. Grave Keeper is a rather simple twin stick shooter game with basic rpg elements and some truly awful translation for the instructions/dialogue.
I downloaded and beat Crypt of the Serpent King. It’s a first person dungeon crawler, but with real time combat rather than the “turn based” style of Etrian Odyssey. It’s decent enough, especially for the price, but the lack of variety does hamper enjoyment a little. Each level only has a single enemy type and a boss, which males things a bit samey. Will now carry on with Star Sky and Hammerwatch.

Re: Nintendo Download: 14th November (Europe)
@suikoden kinda poo is about right. There are some nice touches, but overall it’s a twin stick shooter that gets old very quickly.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 2nd)
More Dragon Quest XI for me. I’m also dipping into Grid Autosport when I need a break.
Re: Review: Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip - Undead, Unfunny And Unnecessary
@PJOReilly just press L.

Just a quick point: you CAN reload manually.

Might also play more Grid: Autosport!
Re: Review: The Bradwell Conspiracy - More Style Than Substance
Good review. I was thinking about getting this, but you've saved me some money.
Re: Review: Valfaris - Heavy Metal Mayhem That's Rough Around The Edges
Slain was “dissapointinl”. Like the proof reading.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 7th)
I’m playing Rad on the Xbone, and sampling the Snes games on Nintendo Online.
Re: Nintendo Download: 29th August (Europe)
I can’t see Arcade Archives Pinball on the eshop yet. I thought Hamster usually release on a Thursday?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 10th)
I’m playing more Road Fighter, trying to break into the top 10 on High Score mode. Not sure I’ll manage it, though.
Also playing Grave Keeper. It’s frustrating in places, and the dialogue is woeful (“when you next encount him”), but I kinda like it.
I finished SageBush within 2 hours of downloading it. The story is decent, and it’s very atmospheric, but it’s also really short.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 27th)
I’m on a retro kick this weekend. Road Fighter is one of my favourite arcade games, so the Arcade Archives release is keeping me busy.
I’ve also started Doom 3, as I never really gave it a chance back when it came out.
Oh, and I’m playing The Sinking City on Xbone because I like the Lovecraftian elements.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 25th)
I downloaded Back in 1995 last night, so hope to play through that over the weekend.
I’m also playing Path of Exile on PS4 when I need a break from the faux PS1 graphics.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 20th)
I’m playing through Moto Rush GT. it’s not the most sophisticated game out this week, but suitable for quick bursts.
