Well it is Mario Kart we're talking about here. Neither Breath of the Wild or Odyssey had been able to beat 8 Deluxe(A Wii U port mind you).

Its funny how they use a Goomba of all things to the Knucklotec hands on. Might as well of called it,"Goomnanza".

I play a couple races then go back to my backlog.

I'm hoping we see Luigi's Mansion 4 for October or more Switch 2 Editions for games like Brothership and Mario Maker 2.

The theme at the end gave me serious Jungle beat vibes.

I'm wondering if its going to be a prequel or take place after the events of the Mario Movie. If prequel we could see Cranky as the original DK with the modern one as DK jr. If it takes place after, then maybe DK goes on a journey retrieve his Bananas from the Kremlings(Or Voidco depending on how far off it is).

I want the ability to connect any track together in Vs mode. Instead of being restricted to the surrounding area of a track, imagine having the ability to race from Bowser's Castle to Dino Dino jungle or Mario bros. Circuit to Boo Cinema?

30ish hours. I mostly play vs race by myself.

I'm confused as to what this means in terms of a prequel. If Diddy,Dixie and Cranky are there than how old would they technically be now when Pauline's grown up?

I'm hoping to see boss fights and how they'll work in the game. Will it just take one hit, or will you have to hit them multiple times with your punch.

Pretty boring overall.

I'm going to get it. But I'm holding off for Donkey Kong Bananza. I ain't paying $80 for Mario Kart( And this coming from a big Mario fan).

Honestly, I just want more characters that debuted on the Switch like Cappy. such Poplin and Florian from Wonder, The Theets from Showtime, ANY of the inhabitants from Odyssey. Heck since they like using enemies why not have something like Uproot or the Broodals, The Sour bunch, or the Ghosts from the Last Resort?

Honestly might wait until Christmas to get the Switch 2. But if I have to pick one. Donkey kong Bananza.

I really hated how this game went under the radar. It basically fixed the issues of the first game and expanded on the universe rather than completely resetting it.

I think the theme park Idea could work. But it probably would be inspired around the entirety of Epic Universe or Disney World's 4 parks. There's so many things they can do in that setting like having the final area be a haunted house attraction that's basically the Haunted Mansion which in a way would give the title "Luigi's Mansion" some relevance again. It could also help improve the ghost variety that was lacking in 3 as they could go for a Epic Mickey approach and have them use things like special effects, puppets and Attractions to spice up up combat.

Hoping at least for a remaster or being put in a Wii NSO.

Its definitely going to be a Mario title. But I think they might with 3D Mario first with Mario Kart being the holiday title as I doubt everyone is going to jump immediately to the next console and that a single-player game could help showcase the power of the system.

Guess they're really trying to give the Switch that last holiday push.

So if the N stands for Nintendo, what does the D stand for?

My only concern with this game so far is the pacing. I hope is isn't too slow like Dream Team and retains the fast-forward button from Paper Jam(or in the very least a skip button).
